Animals and When We Were young are OK songs but Architects has A LOT better to offer especially their older songs but their newer stuff still might be more your style. Hereafter is definitely better and more of their signature sound.
Been into these guys since they brought out their Nightmares EP, which I think was way back in 2006. Outside of their first album Hollow Crown, this Architects is the best they've been since. Fucking amazing stuff.
Highly recommend Doomsday, Gone with the Wind, Memento Mori, and the short doc Holy Ghost if you want to learn more about them and the loss of Tom Searle (Dan's twin brother). If you get the chance, see them live! Fantastic (touring US in fall)
Bro architects are kings, no matter what stuff they put out it’s always good. You gotta check out “these colors don’t run” by them, it’s a pretty amazing song but it’s too bad they don’t play it live anymore, I recommend checking out everything they have because it’s all worth listening to!
.A major disappointment in my eyes now. I can't even listen to the newest album without thinking how dumbed down it is and doesn't even come close to their previous material . They used to be my favorite band of all time and Ive been a music guru of many genres(mostly metal) my entire life.Its depressing even thinking about it.
I miss when they were at the top of their game and actually put effort into their writing.It was so much better than everything else before and after it.Its so disappointing to hear their new stuff it's not even close to what they were.Theyve completely lost their spark and technicality.Its sad to see your favorite band lose everything they had.I kinda feel what a metallica fan went through but they weren't even close to as good as architects "was".
