    Thank you EONutrition! I've been plagued with seborrhea and rheumatoid arthritis for 40 years! I've tried everything! These two videos had a very loud ring of truth to them, so I couldn't get the B2 and B7 here fast enough! I started taking them 2 days ago, and I can already tell you have hit the nail on the head finally!
    I do copious amounts of cod liver oil, vitamin D with the K2-M7, all the B vitamins in non-fortified yeast, natural C, magnesium, zinc, and many others . . . These two in much larger quantities was the answer all along! RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!
    My face from the seborrhea, my hands and back from the rheumatoid arthritis are feeling at least 50% better today! In all the excitement, I forgot all the other stuff. I'm going to go take them NOW! If you look up in the air and see a speeding bullet, it's me FEELING GREAT!

Same thing happened to me and I'm taking biotin and about to add Omega-3 DHA/EPA. I'm off carnivore. It should not do this if eating ketogenic though, which many people do not know to do. I knew, but couldn't due to IBS-D which is triggered by fat. It may just be Omega 3 DHA/EPA even. But, take an active b-complex too like from Thorne to make sure you don't cause an imbalance or B5 deficiency from excess Biotin. Also take magnesium as a co-factor for the B6 pyridoxal and possibly zinc too, to avoid toxicity of pyridoxal.

    • @MrApplewine
      @MrApplewine 2 года назад +3

      Was the carnivore diet high in protein, or high in fat? Was it a true ketogenic diet with 2:1 ratio of fat to protein or higher in protein? I got dry skin on a high protein carnivore diet because I couldn't consume fat due to IBS-D. It should be fat which depletes riboflavin according to the theory. I think mine was due to collagen depletion from prolonged gluconeogenesis. The biotin theory also makes sense for gluconeogenesis, but I'm not sure if that is it. Chris masterjohn says carnivore diets increase biotin requirement, but that should only be high protein. I've heard that riboflavin deficiency can cause anal fissure and I've had those too. I also have other health conditions and recommended to take Solace Nutrition's microencapsulated B2 product for energy production which I haven't tried yet. I found that taking 400mg of riboflavin causes me diarrhea though. My b-complex has 10mg in it.

One of the number one things to help me was pico ionic magnesium. I use the brand remag. I also take natural b vitamins and do many other things that contribute to breathing freely (like mouth taping- please look into this. You can get 20% more oxygen by breathing through your nose, even though the instinct is to open your mouth to gasp in more air- the longer I nose breathe, the easier breathing becomes, but nothing has done as much for me as taking a highly absorbable magnesium. My husband also takes it and hasn’t needed his daily allergy meds in over a year.

    • @LizzieWhiz
      @LizzieWhiz 3 года назад +3

      @@bilimlrr7764 God only knows! Since becoming hypothyroid I have developed many allergies or sensitivities to chemicals found in everyday products like SLS (a foaming agent found in many shampoos and toothpastes) fluoride in toothpaste. From watching the videos on this channel it could be related to how my body processes B vits and the action of methylation in the body . Methylation is accomplished by enzymes. Methylation can modify heavy metals, regulate gene expression, RNA processing and protein function. It has been recognized as a key process underlying epigenetics. DNA methylation, a process of adding a methyl group to DNA done by a DNA methyltransferase is a heritable (epigenetic) alteration leading to cancer, atherosclerosis, nervous disorders (Imprinting disorders), and cardiovascular diseases.

I believe this is a key composition to addressing some individuals with Seborrheic Dermatitis along with mega dosing Biotin at around 5400mcg. I still need time to complete this iteration of supplementation, but I have definitely seen some improvement. Today, I increased my Inositol Hexanicotinate daily dosage to 2,000mg per day with food in one dose with 1,000mg Niacin as Nicotinamide, plus 600mg NAD+ as Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride later in the afternoon with a second meal. This overall protocol was "reached" after somewhat slowly titrating the dosage with emphasis on speed rather than comfort. It seems to be a common complaint in chronic diseases like m.e, which I have. Oily fish and liver do help a bit but I have to eat an awful lot and I get quite sick of these foods! Plus upping my fats has dulled my appetite, which was the idea since I have a few extra pounds to lose. As soon as I take a few days off the dry skin comes right back, especially if I eat poultry. Supplements aren't always absorbed right and from what I've heard recently is some supplements cause more harm than good. Such as B12 supplements which were shown to increase people's risks of developing cancers (I think). I guess it's always best to consume them in their natural form. Also, raw egg whites have a compound which competes with biotin for absorption so you need to always eat egg white cooked (yolk can be raw) - StrongSistas talk about this and so does Dr Paul Saladino.
      There could be other things which compete with biotin absorption too - I dunno.

I have been carnivore for 2 years now, and though I have had anemia on and off prior to carnivore, my iron kept getting lower and lower, despite all my iron intake. A nurse practitioner told me I need to supplement, so I began heme supplements (Proferrin). Despite that, it kept getting lower. I tried every other day in case it was hepcidin blocking my absorption. Still going lower. Serum iron reached 4.5 at its lowest in January. I switched to ferrous sulphate every other day with vitamin C, and in March, iron jumped up to 12. I'm still tired, and it seems crazy that I have to supplement with so much iron. I'm taking liquid Palafer now with vitamin C. I'm going to supplement with B2 and see what happens. It theoretically makes sense that since I increased my fat take substantially, that I need more B2 and I'm not getting it. I tried to eat beef liver but it's disgusting and I gag. I like chicken liver, but I can't find it anymore where I am.

      Life about 3 months in total. Of course I ate normal muscle meat as well and doubled down on my electrolytes (potassium, sodium, magnesium). The flare ups got weaker and weaker until they went away. Btw I recommend chicken liver if you are squeamish about the taste

      Life and you should check out Rob Stuart on RUclips. He is the dermatitis guru and went carnivore after giving up his battle trying to fix it as a vegan

    I suspect my flaky dry skin is due to detox after yrs of high carb & sugar- poor eating habits. I would hesitate to add all these supplements w/o knowing the cause of suspected vitamin deficiencies. Esp. considering how vitamin supplements have so many unhealthy additives. I had some pretty bad yeast rashes due to hyperglycemia, & from too high of a dose of levothyroxine after losing weight. Once my dose was decreased my blood sugar improved and the rashes disappeared FINALLY. Keep in mind there may be "other" causes of skin rashes beyond or instead of riboflavin. js

      Its not! However, most of my audience is keto or carnivore, and there tends to be an assumption that this dietary template is "protective" against all deficiencies

    Is neon green urine a sign of excessive riboflavin and means you dont need it?

    • @laurapearson6580

      Have you recently gone carnivore? Apparently the urine can go a bright green or yellow colour when you eat carnivorously.

    • @jayksoppmipser2490
      @jayksoppmipser2490 4 года назад

      no. riboflavin is converted to the active form FAD in the mitochondria. the neon green color means that there is some unconverted riboflavin being peed out. maybe try taking it with food to improve absorption?

      It can also be green due to excessive B12. I see it always happens when I eat liver.
