There is nothing as good as raising your own meat and eggs! I never knew eggs could taste so good. We have raised pigs and turkeys for meat too. So delicious. Our boys love it. This week I wlll be getting my first meat chicken chicks! I can't wait to taste how delicious those will taste. I'm raising the Big Red Broilers like Jason is.

Gramee here, my husband went carnivore diet 100 percent to avoid double hip surgery. Our family was 100 percent against it, until they saw the results!!! It has been 2years. He has added some KETO foods and has only eaten once a day. Every 3 months he goes 3 consecutive days fasting and says that on the third day is just amazing! We will be following your journey, best wishes. The Andrews.

Hang in there!! I've eaten carnivore for 3 years and have no autoimmune symptoms. It took about 4 months, but I was using 2 inhalors every four hours, but now, I do not use any inhalors. Give it time. Stay consistant. What did you eat before the outbreak? Start writing down what you eat and see if there is a correlation between the outbreaks and your food.

A RUclips channel I watch is Dr Ken Berry. He also eats carnivore and he calls it a body reset. It helped him to overcome pre-diabetes and reverse various other health issues he had. He also said that our bodies are continually repairing and building new cells and that it takes 90 days to completely give your entire body new skin. So hang in there. You're almost there! 😊

I do Keto and just tried a 24 hour (actually a little over 22) fast just to see what it was like. I had 4 or 5 times my stomach growled of hunger and it lasted maybe 10 seconds each. Then no hunger at all. It was actually easy to the point I considered skipping the whole day and make it 36 hours. I literally have to force myself to eat as I am almost never hungry. Never snack.

    • @dennisbjones

@@kempfreehold9450 I expect that the carnivore diet would rectify the IBS also. There are many people who have had success with digestive issues (including myself) by going carnivore. Plenty of stories of that here on YT or on meatrx website. It is a shame that people are put off from healing themselves due to the scaremongery of false and misleading recommendations profferred by "the experts" in the past, usually based off faulty, clunky epidemiology "studies" and perpetually repeated by people who have had it perpetually repeated to them so that it becomes "only common sense" to eat a balanced diet that needs lots of fibre and grains and starches and PUFAs and reduce your saturated fats (mostly from animal based - "make sure you trim all that perfectly good human food fat off"). It has led to alarming rates of obesity, immune system issues, diabetes and cancer etc.

Congratulations! So is an anti inflammation diet different from carnivore diet? I really need to lose some weight too. I'm finally getting almost pain free after getting hit by a car as a pedestrian. I'm two months from 8 years ago. Finally bones are going back into place and my feet and knees are not as painful as they have been. It still hurts but not so I cry. Stairs are still very painful. It has taken so long to get better. Of course I gained a lot of weight because of eating comfort foods and not being able to walk on my farm because uneven ground hurt so much to walk on. For years I've pushed myself to do the chores but this last year I can't do that anymore and bones have been goiing back. Weird. I can almost stand on my tippy toes. I haven't been able to do that since I got hit. Doctors are clueless about what I've been going through.

I'm on keto too.. I am on maintenance now.. but in the beginning it was hard and much more strict about carbs.. ( I eat more carbs now). But the strict diet is supposed to decrease inflammation.. so as you transition to a more livable long term 'diet".. add low carb options in small portions if you want to try. Elimination diet I think is exactly what you're doing... And please endure for a couple of months more to see if you can get rid of the rash on your legs.. you have a smile on your face and a light in your eyes again.

It’s because of you that I have begun this new eating lifestyle. I am doing this for weight control, inflammation reasons. Your sharing your journey abt Carnivore eating is how I learned that this eating lifestyle is a good option for me. However for me I eat Seafood basically. I have to have a surgery on June 23 and after that I can begin to eat steak, chicken, pork.
I know Justin Rhodes has been living this eating lifestyle also. He didn’t inspire me because he doesn’t talk abt this eating lifestyle.
You have blessed me tremendously abt eating this way. I also will be taking specific vitamins after my surgery.
Thank you so much and PLEASE continue to share your journey. I encourage you to continue to search out new products that can be eaten. I have never eaten Avocado and now I will be eating it. The chips, now I could do salsa however eating outside of the lifestyle must be monitored strictly.
You shouldn’t eat any greens in combination because then you could be starting trouble for your body and you wouldn’t know what been set off the rash again.

I've also struggled with eczema, though not as severe as yours. Going Carnivore made it about 80% better. Then I discovered that eating less eggs improved it. So apparently me and chicken eggs don't go well together. Then I've noticed that less chocolate, less peanut butter and less coconut oil gave me even more improvements. Eating more of them made my eczema flare up. I've managed to eliminate eggs, but still trying to eliminate chocolate, peanut butter and coconut oil. It's just so weird finding out for myself that certain of my mainstay foods are making my body react.

I finished a Whole30 and I am in the reintroduction phase. I have found out I can’t eat dairy or corn so far. It’s interesting when you reach that point where, like you said, it’s not a “diet”, it’s your lifestyle. It’s quite the change in your mind, and I would even say emotions, getting used to the idea that there are foods you just won’t eat again. I feel empathy for your food being boring and it made me realize I need to stop being fussy. I was just wandering around the house yesterday thinking “I want to eat something I haven’t eaten recently” as I keep a lot of meals the same to prevent having to make decisions. I’m on keto for insulin resistance and obesity but if plant-based high carb is what it takes to heal inflammation and restore my immune system then bring on the plants. You’re right about treating the carnivore diet as an elimination diet we all need detox periods even if we eat super healthy

Once you think you're 100% cleared up, that's when you start to add things back to see what & how different foods affect you. I'm sure you've read up on all this, or watched a video or two. Keep telling your story & sharing it with the world (mostly meaning the U.S.) but if you're EVER invited on "The Doctors" or anything or ANY network show like them, tell them to f*** right off. Look on RUclips for the carnivor sisters that went on there, so excited to tell their story 😯😠 You are totally doing the right thing!

It blows my mind that most American doctors don't have a clue how much a carnivore diet heals most any ailment. especially auto immune disorders.

25th day on OMAD; Moving towards more animal-based food because it helps with hunger pangs. From size 12-14, I'm now wearing size 10-12. I'm Eurasian, so not eating rice is still a struggle for me.

I think what people miss about meat heavy diets (Highland, Carnivore, etc) is that it's less about eating as a social event and eating as a means of survival. You eat because your body needs the fuel, not because "it's time."
It was hard for me to eat all that I thought I needed to when I was eating more like my ancestors (basically the "Highland diet"). Every now and then, I just wouldn't bother eating if I wasn't actually hungry. The intermittent fasting helped me to identify when I have actual hunger or not.
As for your timing, pay attention to how long it takes to coon your meals. If it takes less time, let everyone else start first and then start yours a bit later.

Jason appreciate you sharing your journey. I have had several skin issues , for the last 30 years. Eczema flares it’s head now and then but nothing like yours. Definitely have this idea stored away in case it ever does go crazy like yours. Thank you and so thankful you were blessed to figure out something that helped you. I have started only eating greens once or twice a week and not feeling bad about eating meat twice a day.

So glad you are feeling better Jason. I, too, suffered as a young girl in elementary school with horrible eczema. I grew up in Texas and my eczema was the worst in the summer heat. I know exactly what you mean when you mentioned it was the worst behind your knees. Me, too, as well as in the crook of my arm. As a young child I had trouble not scratching it, (which made the irritated area even larger), because it itched so badly. At times it was so bad, (cracked and bleeding), and I was so embarrassed, I just stayed inside because I couldn't handle the comments from other kids. As I grew older I learned to stay away from carbs and only allowed myself to eat them as a special treat, maybe once as month. Like you, one of my favorite snacks (being from Texas) was chips and salsa. This snack I only allow myself now about once a month too. I believe the primary culprit with that snack are the chips from corn. I heard when I was in my late twenties, (I'm 68 now), that the only corn available now for planting is universally contaminated due to GMO experimentation. So sad. I will be praying for you, Jason, as you slowly continue to add foods back to your diet. You are right about using the carnivore diet as an elimination process. Also, best thing I ever did was consider my journey to health as a completely new lifestyle, with physical exercise as a major component of my new life. Take care of yourself, and may God bless you and yours.

It is so great to see you so improved. My heart broke for you in the midst of your worst days. I would encourage you to go for a full year before "adding foods back in" from this elimination diet. In my experience the gut take a long time to heal, and the set back from adding in foods before you''re ready can multiply the time it takes to get back to healing. My grown children originally balked at my dietary restrictions even though I didn't care what they ate in front of me, but now they are accepting and accommodating, which has been a blessing. I find I still can't eat many foods: nightshades, legumes, grains, fruit, etc.

Meat based diet can be used as an elimination diet, but it can also be a life style. Why would anyone want to go back to foods that cause them to feel bad. I do ketovore and my diabetes is gone and I have been able to go from two 20 mg twice a day of Blood pressure medicine to 10 mg once a day. I thank God for leading me to this way of eating. Good luck on your keto carnivore journey. Food is just fuel. Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food. God bless you and your family.
