    I had EXACTLY the same symptoms for 30+ years with an ultra-high carb diet (candy, cookies, fast food and other junk almost every single day). 2 months into carnivore, I have at least 50% reduction in symptoms.

    Thank you so much for discussing adult cystic acne it literally has destroyed alot of my self esteem and social anxiety cause I hardly have wanted to go out. I've decided I need to be strict and go keto/carnivore for truly healing my skin and for my mental health. For acne scars you can get microneedling which does help resurfacing the skin. My acne is already starting to clear up since I cut out carbs in a couple weeks so I'm looking forward to better results in the next couple months.

      It's truly suffering and miserable that we cannot eat any carbs without getting another cystic acne breakouts plus the permanent scars left by them altogether. This is beyond torture. What I did in my past life to deserve such fate. Seriously. Most people can eat garbage toxic food and have perfect flawless skin. God I hate this inferior genetics cursed.

    I'm glad you mentioned keratosis pilaris. I have it on my arms and legs my whole life and it's gotten worse as I've gotten older. I've done strict carnivore for stretches of a couple of months at a time and it did not go away during those times, so I can only assume I'll need to be strict consistently for a long time before it goes away for me.

    The first big improvement I noticed going low carb was the keratosis on my arms and legs started to vanish more and more each few weeks!

    So I've been researching nutrition over the past few weeks, after someone told me I could get every single vitamin from meat. And to my surprise he was right, organs, muscle tissue, and marrow. But the amount of these that I would have to eat to get my recommended amounts of vitamins and minerals puts me over 4k calories a day. Am I missing something?

    • @Flexify12
      @Flexify12 5 месяцев назад

      Some nutrient demands go down on this way of eating such a vitamin c, also meat vitamins are the most bioavailable

      It’s not about calories , it’s about hormones and insulin.
      If caloric intake is a major concern , then intermittent fasting is the answer - but still carnivore

    • @rosethorn0232
      @rosethorn0232 4 месяца назад

      The thing you're missing is calories don't actually matter. If you're eating the correct foods (animal foods only), you can eat well over the standard 2000 calorie RDA and still lose weight or maintain a healthy weight easily without tracking anything. Meat balances your hormones because it's what we're meant to eat, and the messed up hormones is the root cause for people gaining weight and not being able to lose it (and a wide variety of other health problems). Remember that insulin, cortisol, cholesterol, etc. are hormones.

      @@StephanyCofferyou may be one of the really unlucky ones and have to completely remove everything except beef, water and salt. Remove bacon (also high in PUFA so I don’t even eat that garbage), butter can also be a problem because of the lactose and eggs can also be the problem (probably the egg white). I recommend eating just beef cooked in beef tallow or ghee, for 30 days and come back to this comment section and give me an update. Also during the 30 days, don’t use any products on your face nor should you wash it, meditate twice a day for 10 minutes and sleep at least 8 hours a day. And not to forget, change pillowcase every 4 days and don’t touch your face at all. If you want to go all in also fast 18 hours a day but if your hormones are getting fucked because of it just eat normal without fasting. I promise in 30 days you have God tier skin. And also eat raw beef liver for natural retinol. Vitamin a content in just 1oz of liver a day made my skin completely clear. Just do this and thank me later.

      You need grass fed beef & liver which are free of synthetic pesticides, growth hormones, steroids and antibiotics. Also cut out bacon and pork. You can find grass fed beef from any local butchers but I would rather get my meat from a halal meat store as they strictly only sell grass fed meat. Limit sugar intake. I suffered from acne as well and grass fed Meat and liver completely cleared my skin.
