I was incarcerated with Allysa Bustamante in the Missouri department of corrections. She is quiet and strange as hell. She said, and I quote, "If I get out, I'll do it again, but this time, a boy." We were in medical waiting in the medicine line to take our medication while she was talking to a correctional officer bc it was such a high profile case. He was talking to her. That's what some officers do. Others don't speak a word unless they have to. We have to stay quiet in medical unless speaking to a co. They were talking, but it was loud enough for people to hear. Once it was her turn, she showed him her mouth to see that she did swallow her meds. She laughed and then walked away. When she walked out the door to that building, the co looked at the probably 6 of us still in the line, and his eyes were big as in shock. This was in 2019. While I was in there with her for my term of 5 years flat for altering prescriptions and possession of a controlled substance what I witnessed was that she was very intelligent quiet no sign of any emotions besides laughing and her and her girlfriends fighting. Nobody ever seen her cry. People did see her take her girlfriends into her room, and people knew, and it didn't take anyone to have an extremely high iq to tell when they were fighting and when Alyssa was pissed. Her personality was so strange. It felt uncomfortable to be around her. Her energy was off. It was dark.she was always in the day room writing. People would ask her questions to help with their GED stuff. I'm almost positive she was a tutor. She also had a job in rec. She has very short hair with a similar cut as she has in this video. She always swiped her bangs to the side. She did do drugs when she could get them. When she first got locked up, she would get fan mail from all over the world. She still gets it, but it's not like she did. I know she talks to a guy from another country who always sends her money and money to her gf. When one of them left prison, they would keep in contact for a while, and then she would eventually get another one. She was so weird. It's just so hard to keep explaining what she looks like other than a 15 yr old little nerdy looking awkward boy. Hopefully, this can give you guys a little sense of what she was like when I left in 2019. Look on the Missouri department of corrections website to see her current mugshot. Idk if she's still in Vandalia or Chillicothe. This is such a scary situation and story. It breaks my heart for everyone who felt the pain inflicted upon them by this Sociopathic manipulative killer. The poor grandmother and most of all the family of the victim and the victim Elizabeth Rest easy, sweetheart 💔 🙏😇

I’m pretty sure she is not eligible for parole until 2044 .
Senate Bill 754, signed on July 9 by Gov. Mike Parson, precludes those convicted of first- and second-degree murder from receiving parole eligibility after serving 15 years of their sentence. That would make Bustamante eligible for parole in 2044.

I myself am someone as a teenager who like to dig holes for no reason. Sometimes they would have a purpose like digging holes for bike jumps, and I also had a fort that I dug out a 12 x 12 x 4 ft deep hole and built kind of like a log cabin around the hole and then a treehouse level on top of that, but often times I would just go out into the woods me and my shovel and see how much I could dig in a certain amount of time. For someone with a lot of energy and no real direction to put it to use I would exert myself digging holes so I could feel tired and accomplished and be able to sleep at night. So emo girl, stop making hole diggers seem like some sort of kid serial killers!!!

Kids aren't supposed to be on psych meds. It can cause issues with emotions, emotional development, and fantasies of hurting or killing others.
Both my sister and I were put on them as teens while we were in horribly abusive situations instead of removing us from it. They caused severe issues and thoughts and that time still traumatizes us 30+ years later. Thankfully her doctor saw after she tried to stab me and another person and my doctor listened to me when I told her about the urges, thoughts, and flashing images. It was like it severed our brains from us and our emotions so our brains had their own conscious plans even taking control of us and we could only watch passively while it went crazy on the meds.

People saying people who dress like her, are like her, are nuts themsleves. I also had a emo clothing fase, well I’ve never ever hurt somebody or thought about it. Yes I had fights but I was never the 1 , raising my hands first. I also have ADHD, and when I was younger I also made holes for no reason. I think to take my energy out or to see how deep I could go or come. Like a challenge which is very common with people that have ADHD. I’m 33 now btw. We need to remember, a sociopath or psychopath can be anybody. No matter how they dress or present themselves towards people. This girl didn’t cry about her horrible acts, she cried because she knew her life was over. She is a sociopath. Plain and simple. She would have done it again and again. Her mindset is : Me, Myself and I.

My Ex was diagnosed at 13 as being depressed and a another Mental disorder that her parents never told me about . Until after I was married to this woman for 7 yrs . and I got a call to my Commander that my wife was having a Mental breakdown . at I had her parents and my Parents get the kids until I returned . Then her Parents told me about her Mental struggles . and said they thought she was better since we've been together. I said it would have been nice to have known about her Mental issues, She eventually left me and our children instead of seeking HELP, She was out of our lives for 17 yrs no phone calls letters e-mails nothing radio silence.

No she doesn’t. She was denied parole.
Senate Bill 754, signed on July 9 by Gov. Mike Parson, precludes those convicted of first- and second-degree murder from receiving parole eligibility after serving 15 years of their sentence. That would make Bustamante eligible for parole in 2044.
