- Inspired by Method Man's 1999 single "Break Ups 2 Make Ups" Teri tells the reverse female side of the story by starting out with "Ex-Boyfriend, How ya been?" Her former life as an escort leaves her love life almost non-existent due to jealousy and lack of understanding from her chosen partner.
Featured on the song is Bone Thugs N Harmony's signed artist, Caine. He tells his story of a some what troubled love tangled up in assumptions, insecurities, and failure to trust.
After spending the day together in the studio collaborating, Caine & Teri meet back up at their hotel preparing for a performance. Little do they know (in the story) the reality awaiting them that reveals the truth to both of their lovers' accusations.
Accusations are mirrored reflections of our own truth. But, often we seem to love lies along with the pain they cause.
