word
I love that the beat is subtle, not over produced and loud, because it puts emphasis on MC.
Golden era of music. Best rap, Best electronics, even damn pop was way more intresting then today
Man I love this 90s Vibe Dont get me wrong we got some dope Artists out today like Kendrick or Hopsin but this shit is where its at. This is the Golden age
I'll give you Kendrick Lamar he is dope but ain't nobody else, same rap music now fast and wack tracks!
Not all of it man. Hip Hop really isn't dead. Kendrick is dope as well as Hop and they have others I could name. Especially Joey Bada$$ who's trying to bring back the New York Vibe which started Hip Hop
Check out logic
if it weren't for the golden age there would be no Drake, k.dot or J.cole etc..#Goldeneraforever
Jaeden Perez I Fuck with Logic
Love how meth glides cross the floor! Damn! the 90s hip-hop was lit
His movements are lit 🔥🔥🔥🔥 U-God said in his book that Meth knew all the new Edition dance moves. Probably that’s why he is a flexible and lit as he his 🔥
Yeah, check out how he dances as a mummy in L.L.'s 4321 video
Never ever will get old. I will knocking this at 70
"Cut ya eyelids off and feed you nothing but sleeping pills" haha still gets me
Right?! lol. I threaten coworkers with that line.
i say this to my narcissistic boyfriend lol
Meth.... lmfao
That line creeps me out every single time I hear it LOL!
The track that literally changed my life.
How so?
@@misterrandom3544 by leading him to his scuba diving career of course 😄
David Johnson 💀💀💀💀
NICE
The intro gives me *instant chills* the flow is absolutely insane!!!!!!
Some of the songs they sampled were perfect choices. Mixed with he lyrics and the times. Timeless album
One of the greatest hip hop albums of all time...still and forever.
The most raw, most grimy, hardcore beats with esoteric street rhymes. Rakim gave birth to the style & the WU dragged it through the slums & took it to a whole different level.
Dudes in NYC was actually sticking up city buses, like literally robbing everyone in the bus. The 90s was crazy in NYC!
They were doing it in Cleveland Ohio too maybe not as Frequently but nowhere as big
Then R.Guliani got in office! Thank God! 🤣
im 17 years old, and still listening to this, never let old school hiphop die in this new generation
Remains the most authentic genuine raw and real video clips that actually suits the song 🙌🏼
Girl you don’t know shit bout this! Go back to tik tok
Trop beau pour être vrai ..
It's Black music, not your kind... get lost👐🏽👐🏾👐🏿
He has crazy rhythm schemes and his rhythms are always precise!
Who remembers when the bus actually looked like that....fun times
Dirty as fuq :/
This is the flow hip hop is missing these days.
Method belongs in the GOAT conversation 💯%
Facts. Period.
What about Joe Budden?
Slow down son lol
HIP HOP AT ITS REALEST STRAIGHT UP RAW.....MISS THESE DAYS NO LIE
I was lucky enough to meet this man about 10 years ago. He was so humble, kind, tall, handsome, and smelled good. He had such a calm presence. I will never forget it. It was really nice for someone like me suffering from self esteem issues at the time, to talk to someone like him and actually feel seen.
That's awesome that you got to meet him! Wish I had the chance to meet him or any of the Wu when I lived out in NY. I'm sure that memory will remain with you forever. Hope you're no longer dealing with self esteem issues either... I know what that's like. Blessings!
@@Genycis Things have definitely improved for me. I'm a mother now and it has changed me tremendously. I actually met him in Cali at a book signing for a comic book he worked on. You never know! You never know where a day will take you. Blessings to you too!
Blessing
This is the definition of classic. It will never get old.
90's best hiphop/Gangsta rap!
The way he came in on the beat, skating 🥶🥶
This was mainstream back in my day..think about that for a minute..
hip hop wasn't "mainstream" back in the day. But is was the Shit!
@@assfarts123 West Coast music was mainstream if you're talking about from the Chronic onwards.
Right... not in the way it is now but I totally get you
@@assfarts123 - snoop x pac x big x dre was mainstream fool
I feel you brother.
Love Method’s voice and delivery. Very natural but raw with a punch you in the face word place, but also humorous.
Maan. Method man is pure hip hop.
This still hits hard after all these years 🔥🔥🔥🔥
this beat is out of this world man.. maybe it's the heaviest of Wu beats, like beeing soaked up by a black hole
This track is straight FIRE!!! You can just hear the passionate creativity behind this artistic masterpiece. Not to mention, this was back in the days where it was cool to just be a regular dude. Nowadays, it seems like every rapper you hear boasts of being a multi-gazillionaire (smh).
@@sperlongatours hahaha
That´s true!!
Not even Method Man knows how these new rappers get all their money.
