I hope the dog is taken away from those people and charges should be pressed against them for animal cruelty and a new home should be found for that dog don't take him back to those rotten people they are not loving kind or giving a damn about him. Surely that could be his death they don't care

I know the dog was a absolute nightmare to groom. I'm talking about his coat not his behavior because he was a sweetheart. But you stayed professional the entire time you informed us of the dire conditions of his coat and without being overly dramatic like some groomers you simply went to work and got the job done. Thank you for helping this poor animal . You are a lifesaver sweetheart 💖🤗🐕❤

      Hi Tess
Thanks so much for your comment and support. It is really appreciated. I can't speak for other groomers but I personally believe the doggos all deserve a calm and composed hand. Becoming overly emotional only leads to ruin my own day. There's a real sense of achievement in choosing to make the most of what you've got. Not to mention that most dogs will feed off your energy. If I freak out, the doggo will have no idea what we're freaking out about but he'll freak out too. If I'm calm, he'll mirror my energy and do his best to remain calm also. Definitely doing my best to be the rock these babies need on a hard day. 🥰

I didn't feel like he was being calmed down or petted , or kind words to him at all. It was a kind act, but I didn't feel the love during the way she spoke. Just straight up shaved hjm robotically. I felt he could have used more petting here and there..bc he was probably afraid and confused. Her tone was...not great..in my opinion! And, why the muzzle? Horrible situation. I reported a woman for this and had her sister sign the dog over to me, and I found him a new home where he's now spoiled .I knew that his dental and medical bills were beyond what I could afford at the time. His teeth were so rotted his jaw almost had been rotted off. Don't get a pet if you can't care for it. Including time with them#1, vet visits. Food, water and exercise.
That leash is way too tight. The way he's panting. I was so relieved when she let him breathe he was a friendly dog..not going to bite her My God! His leash is held way too taunt

I think it is so important to connect with every pet that I groom and continue to build a trusting and loving bond with them. Some of my long time, regular clients are dragged by thier doggos as they run into the salon 🤣 I have to remember not to get to excited to see them because it only makes them run faster 🤣

@@kyliethegroomer Do you have any advice for cutting your dogs nails who can escape out of a muzzle she escapes out of a harness to my dog is like Houdini we’ve tried every kind of muzzle part of the problem is she’s a funny shaped head it’s not the dog in the thumbnail that’s my other dog he’s very well behaved when it comes to that stuff if you look at my Instagram Freya and blue she’s corgi American bully and I just have so much trouble cutting her nails we literally have to cut one nail a day for 20sAnd we have to get it when she’s sleeping because she is the most submissive dog you will meet until you try to cut her nails and then she turns into Cujo I don’t like to sedate her if you have any suggestions

I just found this channel. You are amazing, and I’m so happy to see that little baby feel so much better. Your scratch and cuddle at the end nearly made me cry, and, no, your commentary was NOT too much. How could Wocky’s owners wake up each day and not think of helping that poor little guy? This just smells (literally) of abuse. New sub. Thank you for posting this sweet and informative video; I learned so much. 💖 Finally, hats off to Superman for all of his support!

Not to negate the sentiment, but I've heard one groomer explain that they don't interact with the dogs because it can get them excited and that makes grooming difficult and dangerous.
Clearly this dog needed some love, though, and was too tuckered to be excited.

Had a job that included dead and or very ill smelly near dead beings. The smell was awful of course. One of the coroner assistants told us the use Vicks Vapo rub under our noses to block the smell. It really helps so i would suggest it to you for smelly dogs. Works for smelly poops in the home.
