Yes but it’s not enforced. Unfortunately no one cares to shut down puppy mills or stop abuse. Rescues report this over and over and NOTHING is done

Did this owner ever confront you for trying to turn them in? Do they watch your videos? Has anyone confronted you about what you've said about their dogs or owners? Just curious. I respect what you do for these animals. It is life changing for them. You really care about their well being!
If they did she just telling the truth I love Marybeth she is an angel in my book she has a lot of love for these fur babies I only wish she lived close to me I would definitely let her groom my boys

You can tell the difference from the start of the video. The dog didn't want to cooperate until most of the hair was gone, then she calmed down and seemed so happy! Bless you!

I know this is from a couple of years ago but, it's still hard when you learn that some of the services that we pay for via taxes don't do what they should be doing.
Thank goodness they brought her to you before she had the pups. She was so well behaved considering it was the first time you groomed her. I bet she felt like a million dollars afterwoods. Sky looked great. I like the white cage system you have now, you can see better what the dogs are doing.
Looks like that owner is running a puppy mill. So sad and so wrong. Again I’m angry that animal welfare agencies and law enforcement refuse to help these poor animals.
Keep up with your good work because one day law enforcement will have to step in to save these defenceless creatures.

Seems to me, before Animal Welfare steps in, the dog has to be at deaths door at the owners property where most likely nobody can see them. Somewhat flawed.

That needs to change. A groomer or vet should be able to report cruelty/neglect, and the owners cited. And the animal taken into custody by the authorities. The laws are too lax in these matters. An animal is innocent, same as a child. (Jan Griffiths).

I've never been told about the dogs nails on how far to go by looking for the dot. Thank you for sharing that.
That's the only way you can see the quick on black nails. Other grooming videos don't show this info. I had to learn the hard way. I quicked one of my dog's nails once. Cornstarch comes in handy to stop the bleeding, and is non toxic for the dog. (Jan Griffiths).

Is it not possible for animal control to check to see if a puppy mill is going on? Conditions of the areas where the dog lives first cleanliness, feeding, etc??
Trouble is that they need to get the owners to let them on their property. Unless it is really bad or you have proof it’s hard to get them to do anything

Depending where you live you can use the puppy mill laws to help those pups. If in America check out your states laws on breeding.

I like watching you grooming all 3 of them, they are my favorite dogs. It's just too bad the owners care more about the money they are making from breeding them. Sonny, Ski, and Orio should be treated so much better then they are, it saddens me very much.

Owners were probably trying to get it groomed before they took it in to see a Vet, maybe? A Vet would have a stronger say in getting the dog taken away. Puppy mill for sure smh
