I was surprised to not see the inventor of the scuba diving equipment. He got pressurized air into a tank, but made it PURELY oxygen, which compressed into O3, which is toxic to us. So he poisoned himself to death with pressurized air testing the gear.

The fact he had that many successful flights with his own invention means that he had something. I looked up what happened and apparently the biggest flaw to his design was that it was top-heavy and had a tendency to slip into nosedives which were difficult for him to pull out of. He ended up in one after a gust of wind messed with his glide’s stability, and that’s why he crashed. Nowadays planes can endure a ton of random weather events, obviously, but in order for him to have flown successfully it must have required predictable weather.

So, you drop 68$ to get a metal tube and a flavored air pod with zero nicotine, or you could spend 10$ and have a device that gives nicotine and satisfies the urge. 68$ is enough to buy 7 weeks worth of vapes, and enough to buy almost a carton and a half of the cheapest cigarettes. The screams from the Brazen Bull were actually converted into sound that sounded like an angry bull to further entertain the crowd. Humans were messed up back then.

lmfao when u said about the astronauts blowing up, i immediately thought about the Challenger Explosion and how Big bird was originally supposed to be on it.

Have to jump in here and say that my family used to have a print shop with a printing press. My uncle lost the tip of his middle finger when he was working. I can't tell if I've heard the true story or not, but I think it happened in the gears, or when the press came down. My uncle has always seemed to have a great hunour about it, and constantly joked and teased me as a kid about it.
