He was such an academic. I think he leaned on his knowledge too much. It's possible to explain truths without cross referencing through compatitive religions. Krishnamurti was very adept at this,more concise and clearer on the human condition and the pitfalls of thought.
They aren’t in competition with one another. Did you forget krisnamuriti explain how imitation is destructive and hollow? And how comparison is competition. We should never compare the two teachers who never compete. They help you complete your understanding. And these competitive religions are just concepts he can cross reference made up religions to point things out why not? 😅
