Isn't it just so phenomenally amazing the Alan Watts now that he has passed away speaks even louder more spiritually powerful because simply you let go I'm a 44-year-old man and when he talks I feel like I'm a kid in a candy bar and I can't control my excitement and my eagerness and what I love the most about Alan Watts I'm not a very smart man and I'm pretty insignificant to this world but when Alan speaks I learn and I go by branches of wisdom in my own life I think the most amazing gift was the heckled and he still does speak all walks of life penetrating people to learn and become wiser and becoming simply love the saying I think God Is Here I believe is because of the presence of Alan Watts is because of the presence of Alan Watts I love you brother
If you cling to goals either it will be destroyed before you achieve it or it will lose its meaning after success. If you cling to yourself, you are gonna hate yourself. There is an amazing mystery behind this. If you learn to dance with life without forcing, with being honest with yourself and unite with the universe, amazing life experiences come up. Out of nothing, there is everything, that simple! Either constructive or destructive, everything evolves to better fit onto you, so appreciate everything, even death!
This was well stated! 💫 I’ve experienced not wanting or desiring anything. It’s a sense of an empty fullness. I find myself slipping into desires here and there and it’s mostly in times of subconscious behavior. Or in my moments of slipping into the programming. Grateful for this message 🙏🏽🤞🏽

5:36 Believing is clinging. There's no salvation through believing. There is salvation through knowledge. The highest knowledge is non knowledge. If you really are it, you don't need to believe it. And you don't need to know it just as eyes don't have to see themselves. Thanks Alan. 12 November 2023.🏘🍁🦆🦋🎁🌹😇🍦
What do you believe about yourself? Are you male ? Well you are not because this body is a dress, you believe you are roger you are not it’s just a name.
It seems clear that some desires are useful and some aren’t. In any case, you don’t get to choose your desires, you can only choose how you respond to them - to an extent. Also perhaps the best approach is not to try to escape suffering, as this is not realistic for at least 99.999% of people. But rather to mitigate unnecessary suffering, embrace necessary suffering, and accept inevitable suffering.
I really like how when I learn more about Buddhism I just find out that it was made by a rich kid. 😅 When compared up against other philosophies and opinions Buddhism seems kind of silly and easily picked apart with my mind
I understand you , also I was thinking about the fact that Jesus sit in the desert 40 days and nights , also Buddha , kinda sit under a tree for the same period , maybe they meditated and they figured something out ! what do you think ?
Nobody is perfect. Nonthless imperfect vessles are what hand down knowledge and information. Not perfect vessels. Perfection is an illusion and doesn't exist. If you continue to view things like that, you'll have perpetual unrealistic expectations.

@@Mac-ku3xuCurious to me you listen to the same video. And the only thing you can say is, "bit of a joke from someone who drank himself to death".. is it that you think drinking onesself to death is a joke¡ or is it that you can't get your head around the fact that someone can explain it all better than you while having drank themselves to death.
The only way to master non attachment is to learn to love w/o expectation. Best of luck and wishes for us all to find true and divine enlightenment!
Thank you for this !
As long as you don’t attach yourself to the belief that “the only way to master non attachment is to learn to love w/o expectation”. 😉

Not wanting or desiring is still clinging to desiring at all.
The desire to stop is desire itself.
