One morning several years ago I woke up and every time I swallowed it felt like I was swallowing pieces of glass. I was sure I had tonsillitis. I made a concoction with tumeric, Salt, pepper, and cinnamon. About a half a teaspoon each Except the pepper maybe an eighth of a teaspoon, and filled the large glass with very warm water. I gargled with it until the glass was empty. I did this one more time towards lunchtime, and my symptoms were gone completely shortly there after and never returned.
I woke up at 2 am with a severe sore throat. The pain was unbeatable. I couldn't go back to sleep and found this around 4 am. Tried it on myself, laying down and fell asleep after 15 minutes later. This truly works like a miracle! Sore throats are very very painful and one takes recourse to antibiotics which in turn have side effects, especially on the stomach. In doing this, I was able to release the phlegm and the incidental mucous stuck in my throat. Gives great relief.

Holy.... I am not joking. I have had a bit of a sore throat today and I just tried this on myself and the pain is still there but it is greatly diminished! This is awesome! The only thing I might say, and I do not know much about the body or medicine, but my neck did not feel very tender. It was just kind of tense, and I could not find any tender spot. It might have been that I just did not find it, but pressing the tense spot worked pretty well! Thanks!
This is extremely helpful! I'm a singer, and have never had any pain in my throat before from singing, due to good technique over time. When I started doing whistle register, on the other hand, there was far too much tension in my neck, and I've have a sore throat since yesterday, and this is fantastic! I can actually speak words with normal volume again!

I thought it didn’t work at that very moment but throughout the day my pain got less and less. My husband tried this method on me in the morning and by the evening the pain was completely gone. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but I have been going through that pain for 2 weeks and for it to die down in half a day makes me think this works. Definitely give it a try.

@Rafael Fernandes Sorry to hear that. I remember the pain was unbearable, and I had a relief immediately after doing this. Make sure you press as hard as you can with your fingers. For me, the pain came back the next day but gradually disappeared in 3 or 4 days.
My dollar store "H" massage tool gave me its best use today. Thank You Dr Berg! I've had a sore throat for over a day & swallowing has been very painful. A few minutes leaning into the wider part of the H massage tool & I don't have to dred each need to swallow. This is amazing!

This is extremely helpful! I'm a singer, and have never had any pain in my throat before from singing, due to good technique over time. When I started doing whistle register, on the other hand, there was far too much tension in my neck, and I've have a sore throat since yesterday, and this is fantastic! I can actually speak words with normal volume again!

Oh my god it worked for me. Pain isn't completely gone, might have to hold a little longer, but already at least 50% of the pain is gone. Why am I figuring this out at 29 years old???

I thought it didn’t work at that very moment but throughout the day my pain got less and less. My husband tried this method on me in the morning and by the evening the pain was completely gone. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but I have been going through that pain for 2 weeks and for it to die down in half a day makes me think this works. Definitely give it a try.

@Rafael Fernandes Sorry to hear that. I remember the pain was unbearable, and I had a relief immediately after doing this. Make sure you press as hard as you can with your fingers. For me, the pain came back the next day but gradually disappeared in 3 or 4 days.
