@Colleen Stockfleth Yes EVH is a legend same as DLR. I would not want to hear DLR sing now if you paid me - because he cannot sing now. David lee Roth is the one of the best front man.The catalog of originals van Halen had in 1976 is light years ahead of bands even today.
DLR has got it all: talent, intelligence, ingenuity, humor, and great looks!
you have the looks too
Thinking when younger Dave would only care about Dave and partying, shows you never judge a book by its cover. How awesome he would see value being an EMT helping people When so many famous people spend time hiding from the public.
he can dress how he wishes hes david lee roth!
great guy not enough of them!!
peoples need to be far more tolerant of gifted eccentricity!!
david john Huxtable should be encouraged!
david john Huxtable I Agree!
I would love the opportunity to sit down and just have a conversation like this with Dave. His insight and approach to things is just wonderful. He's just a smart man with the great gift of gab.
Her legs just don't quit....
those were wrapped around him afterward
@@scottharrisohn6972 oh fuck ya
Hard to believe he's on his 60s now and still just as much fun to watch.
Ahh, hes gotten old, but we all have. Still, he is light years more interesting than the booze and cigarette soaked Van Halen twins.
how so?
But it appears ole Dave is using his candy Cane to help him walk this interview.
***** Lol, okay Carl. He talked about it years ago my friend. Unless he has reached that tweaker click permanently he used some form of stimulant before this interview. Paranoid and withdrawn for some, not all. They usually do keep those facial ticks they get while on it after many years of use.
ed, iSam
he looks great for his age
***** What you are saying is that you prefer downers to stimulants. Me too.
It's something how there always seems to be somebody, somewhere knocking Dave, but it's only just because he's not necessarily their kind of guy. Well, so what, you can't please everybody. I like the dude. He's a freakin' firecracker, and we love him for it. He's a true showman.
She's a doll, and pretty good at handling DLR!
I'm sure she did so after the interview. 😜
EMT in the Bronx for 5 years. David Lee Roth is a giving man. What Politician, Movie Star, etc. would donate his time and efforts when they were that well off.............Not many, probably less than 1%. I am so amazed at how intelligent he is, Pleasure listening to this interview and the Girl is a SWEET DOLL!!
Daves still got it and always will!
WHAT A WONDERFUL SPIRIT DAVID HAS!!! GOD BLESS HIM!!! WE'LL DONE DAVID!!! YOU LIVE IT, YOU LOVED IT, AND YOU SURVIVED IT WITH A BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND A LIVELY SPIRIT!!! OH! EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE OLDER, YOU CAN STILL LET YOUR HAIR GROW!!! WINKS!
Dave is still as cool, interesting and fun as he was in his younger years. He Lived an interesting incredible live.
What a genuinely funny and thoughtful guy. The interesting thing for me was how he remembers some unusual details - 'it was a Tuesday' .. I actually think he remembers some of that stuff. He's a very detail oriented guy!
Best frontman by a MILE in the history of rock and roll
Freddy was great but Dave commandeered the entire stage ...plus the lady sex appeal...Don't think Freddie had much of that ?!
Carlos Gregory Really really good one. Although I am a big sappy Steve Perry fan. :)
***** Dick suckers don't qualify for the best singer of all time title. Sorry!
Paul Stanley? not
***** DLR isn't gay or at least he doesn't claim to be.
Batman says:
Humble a beebelee zimbalee boobala, humble a beebelee zimbalee bop
Vivian : do you jitterbug?
Dave: "well, i can be convinced. Do you wanna but me a drink?"
Love that guy
I never was a fan but after listening to him I bet he’s a lot of fun to hang out with. Can you imagine the stories he has? Best of luck to you as we all get older......
dave is the best. met him a few times... he was a solid guy.
MR MONSTER absolutely....very nice guy and very intelligent.
He said, before we teach our children how to strangle each other, we most teach them Discipline!!!
