    What a fantastic summary of your wonderful interviews. Our hair is a great sign of what’s going on inside. I definitely got more grey hair in the last 2 years due to significant health issues resulting in loads of stress and now chronic illnesses. I’m now trying to focus on the things I do have control of, such as removing processed foods and making foods from scratch as well as improving my mental health. Hopefully the changes will help reverse some of my grey hair.

    aw this vid came at a good time my birthday is in a couple of weeks and i feel so many ways about turning a new decade, but youre right its all about prioritizing the health and healthy mindset that will inevitably shine through physically in ways no skin treatment can ever achieve for us

    I would add only fish oil, lots of sleep, keeping it calm and joyful, rebounder perhaps and I started taking methylate blue, along side with beetroot juice. NMN will continue to take… thanks for the reminder. Nature of course. Walk in a Forest during the sunshine is a powerful infrared bath! Tree leaves amplify the effect. Oh and regular parasite cleanses regardless if one has proven themselves that they have them or not have them.
    I believe in slow juicer, non sweet green juices with roots veggies. Amazing injection of power and glow.

      I am so with you on the forest walking. I find trees so therapeutic. Barely noticed them until I hit 50 and suddenly I am a tree fanatic!!

    I soo disagree with reversing grey hair! I do believe it's all due to genetics and the research you've mentioned is just not enough to convince me. I am a good example of healthy diet, exercising and beauty hair routine. I still get more and more grey hair: exactly like my mom and grandma did. I know this idea is popular among beauty influencers and it drives me crazy! Best wishes for the New Year 🎉🎉

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  4 часа назад +1

      I would have been less convinced if I hadn’t seen it on myself. I do mention in the video though that while studies have shown it’s possible to reverse greying (to some degree) caused by stress or nutritional deficiency the same is not true of greying hair due to genetics so I do hear you on that! All the best for 2025 and thanks for watching today! ❤️

    Happy New Year, Clare! Interesting information...yes I definitely recall going gray a few years ago - I was probably under stress - now I have very little - I can get away with only colouring my roots about 2-3 times a year. It may even have been a nutritional deficiency. It's hard to pinpoint why. Look forward to the next video with your parents and exercise, hoping your Mum notices a difference in a few months. 🥰xx

      Hi Val! Happy New Year! So interesting you had the same experience with greying hair. Like you say it’s hard to pinpoint but a nice surprise!
      Really hoping the strength building helps my mum. She so wants to walk unaided again 🤞❤️

      Well, you can't say for certain that it's due to cod liver oil. Come on, let's stop spreading around beauty secrets that are not true. Wrinkles are closely related to genetics! Having said that, I'm sure that cod liver oil is fantastic for other things, but please leave wrinkles out!

      Congrats. I’m almost 78 and I can do that too, however I DO have aches and pains. I do physical therapy 2x a week for strength and balance. My only child recently died. I’ve been trying to be as fit as possible not to burden her. Now I’m just glad I don’t need help. Btw, I’ve had 18 surgeries including a total knee replacement 4 yrs ago & three big screws in my hip where I fractured it a year after that replacement. Spinal stenosis, CKD, IBS. I think I’ve survived by being active. My hair has yet to turn completely gray. I asked a stylist to help it along, but my roots aren’t gray. Keep up your good work. Self care is very important

    Happy New year and thank you for your video! You mentioned to be mindful of too many actives as they can be drying and therefore unhealthy and inflammatory - is this why you quit tretinoin? This is definitely why I have recently given up on Tret - I wanted to love it so much, but retinal is just less drying for me, and actually nourishing xx

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  6 часов назад +2

      Happy New Year! Yes, I couldn’t get past the dryness and irritation with tretinoin so I switched down to retinal. Like you my skin just never adapted

      @@thehonestchannel I have so much FOMO about it. Do you think we're missing out on the anti aging if we just powered on through? Or do you think we'll still get the same anti aging benefits from retinal just slower? thank you

    Do you find that a microcurrent device is more beneficial for you in terms of blood flow than using your hands or non-electronic handheld device? I got broken capillaries from cosmetic, micro needling, and I fear that microcurrent will be contraindicated on my cheeks, but I’m desperate for help with remarkably saggy forehead and neck skin because of this micro needling I had done. Do you have any thoughts? Thank you I genuinely I’m so grateful to have found you a few months ago and you are a unique and valuable voice in this space.

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  5 часов назад

      I’m so sorry to hear you had that experience with microneedling. Home devices and massage can make subtle differences that accumulate over time. I lost fat in my cheeks after Ultherapy treatment a few years back and I regained some of the volume through a consistent routine. I think microcurrent is good for toning at a muscular level but would recommend using massage as well because nothings beats it for getting blood flowing through the skin. I use a combination of massage, microcurrent and red light. Hope that helps. I’m so glad you find the channel helpful ❤️

      I tried micro current for a year and I still am thankful to Sephora it accepted me returning the device because it did not make any difference to my skin, I'm fortish. Don't bother!!!
