Thank y’all for checking this out! I’m beyond shocked to hear how great this micro amp is after trying out the modified version! It’s tight, mean, and very aggressive!
I wanted the Joyo Zombie but got this little monster being a True Peavey fan since the 80’s being from South Mississippi I got to tour my local Peavey Facility as a teen and fell in Love during the original “5150” days. I “ONLY” play Ibanez RG’s 570/550 guitars period, “ by choice/preference” since the 80’s worshiping Steve Vai! I have owned them all but just something about the 80’s look and wizard neck I could never find anything close to my liking. I spent everything at different times buying & trying a Fender American Standard Strat and Gibson Les Paul but neither made me happy so I sold both and ordered the 20’ Ibanez RG “Genesis” (NP) 550 a few years ago to go with my old 80’s RG’s . “I know gonna catch hell for this opinion!” But to each his own! I also drive a 20’ Honda Civic Turbo (44mpg) by choice! The Japanese take pride in their builds with Awesome Quality Control like America “USED” to do; Just think of the Katana Swords they mastered. In my amp I have had EVERZY small Peavey made over the years but just wanted something for the bedroom not pissing off everyone in the house. I got the 6505 8” cabinet with it just missing the low end of a 12” driver. What in your opinion would be the best 1x12” cab that I can find in 4 ohm for full power that doesn’t break the bank? Keep in mind if I had the money I wanted the 6505 40 watt 1x12” cab but it is $800. Also Great Slayer tunes by the way!@AngryTonesRiffClips#SlayerFan🤘🏻#🎸🔥⚡️✨🤘🏻#6505mini”Piranha”#20watt#IbanezRG❤
Yes the original was weak! The modification sounds killer and feels like your playing a 50 watt tube amplifier now. Much more versatile on the crunch channel and aggressive and punchy on the lead channel.
@@AngryTonesRiffClips It shows even when I watched his original when he was testing it. It sounded super massive. Cool thing is these are really cheap used and after the mod its still reachable to most everyone. It's a win for sure.

Shocking sound coming from that. Mod was certainly worth it. Those things suck regular lol
