I love what you did with the Squier. I've been souping up strats, sometimes Fenders, Squiers, old Charvels, or total ground up builds for forty years. My typical guitar is some kind of strat with a Duncan Distortion or some other Duncan in the bridge, mot most often a Distortion. Schecter makes great pickups. They are known for this. A lot of players in the 70s and 80s would buy Schecter pups and pop them into their strats and other axes.
