dude, i know simon since almost 20 years - one of the few guys out there who is TRULY husteling. such an inspiration. got a lichtlaerm on my board - love it. will get this one for sure.
Yeah, I've only known him a year but in that time we've bonded over hustling music related things. He definitely motivates me on days I don't feel like it. I'm really lucky to have a friend like him!
Very cool that Simon drove over for a talk. That gives a really neat extra perspective to this pedal. Sounds dope, love mine and it was fun to play around with it
They're great guitars from an era that was exciting and fresh. The only issue I had with this one is the neck profile was "baseball bat", so I had Royce reprofile and oil it.
This thing is pretty versatile. Its definitely good if you're into doomier stuff or 90s death metal. It sounds like it could also do chainsaw or black metal tones. The one thing that makes me not want to get it is ive never heard anyone using it get a nice modern and tight tone with it. Im sure its possible but until i see proof its not for me lol
I have to say, this is the best tone achieved with a pedal into an amp I've ever heard. Taylor, could you please explain how you have the origin set up ? Everything at noon or?
No, I found with the origin you have to push it a little into break up with the gain. Then the EQ I mostly dial to taste, but it's typically something like Presence - 8, Treble - 6, Middle - 9, Bass - 6, Tilt - 6, And then gain to taste. You'll also have to play with the presence quite a bit to tame or enhance the distortion you are getting in the top end

Much love, dude! I appreciate you.

Yeah that's one of the benefits of having friends in the same city, once in a while we actually see each other! 😂
Your riffs are "tastier" than other guitar players I'm watching. Kinda inspiring.
Would you recommend it? I’ve been wanting a new pedal and thanks to you debating between this and one the airis pedals.
Definitely. They did a good job with this!
Okay he said pretty awesome. It's just awesome😂
Seriously it'll probably be the best pedal you will ever have
Whoa I literally just started following that company on Instagram today.
Sweet! More great things to come I'm sure!
Simon X Sludge the fucking GOAT
🥰
SIMONSLUDGEEEEEE
Well, there goes my money! Order is in! 😂 May the metal gods bless me with better tones.
Hell yeah! 💪
Thank you!
Is it possible to use this just as an eq pedal? Without boost or distortion? Or to have eq engaged do you automatically have to have some dirt on?
The king in yellow is my favorite OD pedal!
OH DANG you got it! I've been eyeing their products since the Gehenna distortion. Sounds awesome.
This was Simons copy, I just borrowed it and did the vid to help get the word out. But it is sick, maybe I should have one here 🧐
We got you for sure!@@TaylorDanley
Dude I got that same Agile Something Or Other! It's still got the passives in it but damn I love it.

It sounds like it would be a good bass guitar distortion
It probably would! It kind of touches all the bases TBH
@@TaylorDanleyno pun intended
Yesss Lichtlaerm Audio. I have their Aesahaettr, King in Yellow and Key and Gate. Such an awesome company 🤘🏼
12:24 randomly starts playing Supernova Goes Pop by PM5K and makes it heavier
Sounds so dull
Man that's some very mean distortion! Really cool!
amazing! how you think it can sound with a fuzz to give an extra flavor?
Honestly, I don't think it really needs it. You can get super fuzzy tones with just the EQ.
Sick pedal dude... DAMN! 🤘🤘🤘
also that freaking agile is so beautiful man!
Man! That sound with the Agile is 🔥
Isso 🙌🏻
Worship
Let me tell ya, worship guitarists can't live without this one!
Just lucked out and found one of these on Reverb and bought it IMMEDIATELY. Can’t wait to get it in the mail.
Omfg 😨

@@TaylorDanley you ran the above stated origin settings + the pedal settings ? Like the amp wasn't " flat and clean " ?
Perfect timing... nothing better to watch with my first morning coffee 🤘🙏
Morning!
Great vid. Waiting for your ampero ii stage review 😁
Black dahlia type riff ❤
ALWAYS EVERY DAY
Sounds amazing! Subbed and ordered.
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you for the support!
DC power only?
I just can’t get over the ebony fretboard on that Jackson. Sry I know it’s not in topic.
😂 Like can't get over it because it's awesome or because it sucks?
@@TaylorDanley oh totally awesome! Usually ebony boards are dyed black. This one was left to live it’s life how it wanted to! Lol
I hate it...
Yeah, it’s not really my thing either. Sounds too nasty imo. Too fuzzy for me
i cant tell the dif. between other metal tones and this but it sounds good
