Richard Coker kept it cool in the cab after his gauges came down. Talk about great focus and determination.
MikeyBoy that man can drive lol
That Coker guy's reaction time is crazy!
Gotta love the guys who have an issue on the track and refuse to pull over and off the racing groove.
Zach Most of those diesel guys have know idea what it’s like in a high powered rear wheel drive car. I can’t believe more tracks don’t make it a point to tell the drivers during drivers meetings.
Coker was the only one that had a gutted interior. Single cab also a lot lighter.
Chad Bell okay?
And, it’s the other racers fault if they don’t wanna lose weight
@@4wdsome444 well most look like daily trucks and the cokers looks like a strictly drag racing truck
Luceros Cummins haaaauuullss. Truck is nasty
The last time we saw domination like this was when Lavon Miller came through a wrecked everyone with his stroked 6.7! Lavon is a legend and this Coker guy is a badass, glad the Chevy's are starting to come out on top
What year was that?
@@teds4983 2 years in a row 2014-2015
@@teds4983 2015 was the year he killed. White deckplated ram
Much better than last year's BS
Agree
Ditto
Didn't everybody but like 2 break or get DQ'd
Never got so excited for drag racing video. That's some good raceing.
Event 1 Dmax #1
Event 2 Dmax #1
Event 3 Dmax #1
Event 4 Dmax #1
😁😁😁😁😁
DURAMAX_DELIGHT that dmax is a single cab with everything stripped with aftermarket parts, he was lighter than everyone there by a lot what do you expect
Anthony Huntley not his problem, he came to win, hes smart.
@@anthonyhuntley4498 That's part of racing and competition, bringing the best type of truck with the best modifications, sure his truck is at a better advantage, but that's because his driver is smart and doesn't bring a mega cab to a drag race, lol.
@@anthonyhuntley4498 k.. explain why another Dmax won event 4?
Wait til there’s weight behind. Duramax last lol
I love the high Hp numbers as well as everybody else but when it doesnt hold its useless.
Real good racing this year.
Lets Go Coker!!!!!!! #Texas #Duramax
You're lettin me down, Kody!
If you followed all that...You’re a genius. Lmao
Duramax.... Powered by Coke....
Isuzu powered by the Japanese
@@bradhardy2629 better than powerjoke and cumaparts
That single cab, do I even need to say duramax lol 😂
Texas power baby 🙏
I have a c63s amg. I would get smoked lol. Love these trucks
Richards my favorite this time round.
I want to see a detailed video on that f350
No hate, still love this every year.
cool fricking vid
Go richard
If you ever think about donating a hot Duramax just let me know
Wow so they really did it by who ever gets across the line first wth... should have been just who’s faster down the track doesn’t matter on the reaction time.
Volcán SV I don’t know what tracks you go to, but they did it how drag racing is done. Drag racing is all about reaction times and who crosses the line first.
Did the first run get a clean-air time penalty?
I just wonder what the tint percentage is on the gold ram
Thanks for clarifying the tournament procedures. Charity-Service-Peoples???
Another win for the BOWTIE Boy's
You mean Isuzu
are these trucks electric and eco friendly?
Yup they have 12 volt electric systems and get great gas mileage because they don't use gas.
They are powered like the Flintstones actually. 0 emission, just sweat.
MigrationModz does sweat turn to black smoke during acceleration ?
@@MigrationModz sweat powers the truck
Woot woot #1 to view and watch
Good nice
The thing that kind of sucks about owning a truck like that here in Los Angeles, is there's not too many places where I can just go crazy with that thing, unless I go to a race track of course.
You tripping I’m from LA and there’s so many places you can go
So we skipped 2020? Are we picking up 2021?
Just wondering are these trucks modified and if so any limitations on mods
0:53, not gonna lie, that looked very badass flying down the strip
what are the red switches for in cokers truck?
4:56 boi what is that exhaust 😂
Can you go watch this as a spectator? I’m from the area but don’t see anybody in the stands...?
Im modified diesel newb. What's the hand controller everyone is using. Something to do with bost???
ryan bear Nitrous
@ 5:33 when it shows the time . . .maybe I'm stupid but um isn't 11.03 a lower time than 11.20🤔
Thats exactly what I thought. Only difference is the other guy went .3mph faster, but still had a slower time. Edit: The next run, a 11 second beats a 10 second. Guessing its going by whos time and speed pops up first?
@@Hurtydwarf yes. It's a straight race, not a time race
I believe the track is setup where your time only starts when your truck leaves the line. If your opponent gets a better response time on the start then they leave first so their time starts sooner but they cross the finish line first, which means they win.
6:28
Seems odd huh? It's who crosses the line first, not the quickest time. You can't sleep on the tree.
Why do diesel modified vehicles usually produce excess smoke/ snoot? Really Air fuel ratio?
Dumping excessive fuel can also keep egts down but for the most part diesel fuel has more carbons and emits the visible smoke, gas emits more pollutants but are non visible
that chevy deserves a new body lol
So basically all the dudes with bro trucks on the street wont even run a 12 lol. Thought these were supposed to be fast
Chad Mcoscar the DA is horrible on these trucks they probably make a decent amount more horsepower and are running faster times.
I know this is an old comment but this track has terrible DA. It's 5800ft above sea level with mountains on each side blocking airflow. DA reaches 10,000+ in the summer. So I don't know why you're laughing. Lets see you run there.
They’re still geared to tow and also they weigh 8000 plus pounds
I run a full crew cab 2007 built lbz on compounds. Low 12 and have had 11 before. At 670whp. It’s where you run it and temperature plays a big role
Am I missing something or since when is a 11 better than a 10?
Elapse time, You can leave faster spend more time on the track but still cross the line first because the other truck sat at the light longer.
When i grow up i wanna have a durtymax like Richard Coker
Everything breaks every year???????
Every truck should have to be within 100hp of each other..... 600hp has no place here should be 850+
That's kinda messed up that would only make these events for people who can spend huge money on trucks i personally like how the lower power trucks rarely have issues while the trucks you are calling for are rarely ever reliable which is sad to say for a diesel. If anything should be a disqualification to me it's people who have to constantly work on a truck to run for a 5 minute event diesels aren't meant to be dyno/trailer/drag queens.
@@jjwrx8 Diesel POWER CHALLENGE........ Not your friends tuned truck with a turbo wheel and exhaust....... This is the SUPERBOWL of Diesel truck competition. Have you ever watched top fuel drag racing? They rebuild the engine after every run?
@@ponypwr I mean tractor pullers are more like the top fuel dragsters of the diesel world all these tend to be based on factory trucks/engines not purposed built vehicles and besides the truck like the 90's ram beat many of trucks with higher power thus proving my point.
Coker has a way lighter truck with a bigger engine hmmm I guess he should probably win .
Sounds like a excuse of a Cummins is the best fanboy ..
*10 sec trucks
If they allowed the same person to keep competing I don’t think Charlie keeter would of lost for along while haha
I wanna see a 5 speed manual diesel in one of these. I feel like it would annihilate these lazy autos, converters etc.
The main benefit of manuals is expense, they're cheap and relatively simple but do not hold up to high hp and abuse as well as a built auto.
Sports car competition like this?????????
Lots of power, huge tires, 4x4...........still slow. I dont get it lol.
Posts this but no roadkill...
Roadkill is trash
How about an opacity test?
Coker in his 2nd final race hit the gun before the light thats how he won.🤷♂️
No he drives a Chevy that's how he won...if he jumped he'd be out nice try cry baby...
Isuzu power .huh chevy guys
Duramax guys are silly, all over the place when there team is winning but nowhere to be seen when the powerstroke 6.0's dominant 2 years in a row...
@@hawser27 Hahaha bring the powerchoke out it'll get spanked aswell..
Oh no its bucket brain lohnes just kidding dude announcer rushmore
I saw those dragweeks 😂
Do these Dodge guys worry about getting death wobble?
Death wobble isn't much of concern for these trucks especially with how much has been changed. Death wobble isn't much of a concern for stock trucks either. Dodge got a bad rap for death wobble, but Ford has it worse.
As a drone pilot myself, these Ariel shots are so bad!!!!
10.9 loses to a 11.2. So why don’t ppl just time tf out of the light and just back off and cruise to a victory?
Jake Nicholas You’re more passive aggressive than my ex; or is this my ex! 😆🤪
Its called heads up drag racing
Jake Nicholas Yes, for years when I was younger. I’ve won bracket racing events. I just didn’t know “heads up” meant you can have higher et but still win, that’s all.
@@MaxwellReviresco first to finish, not quickest to finish.if you get there first, does it matter how long it takes
Demonslayer20111 I see. Makes sense 👌
Less commercials or should I say the same commercial over and over again 🙄
17 prius drivers didn't like this vid.
That 1st race was bs how y’all put the fastest truck against the slowest one in the fleet🤔 should of atleast gave the dually a more even competitor
Just saying
That's how championships work. If you do the best in the qualifying heat you get the reward of weaker competitors, like a playoff bracket.
Jake Nicholas there is no way the dually qualified any where close to that duramax
I just feel like it should be fast with the fast and slow with the slow if they see each other later down the bracket then it’s is what it is
Hustla Robbie that’s crazy
@@shedrickattaway3496 I know, but that way almost guarantees the best competitors in the finals
It makes perfect sense and is how all brackets have ever worked. Otherwise, good competitors could sandbag in qualifying, line up against a slow vehicle, and blow their doors off.
Next year if you break, you're out
@@LukeEdward But that's no fun. The whole point is to push these trucks as far as they can until they break. The idea is the fastest and most reliable truck is still going to win because they keep advancing by showing up. If you couldn't break your truck here then people aren't going to push the trucks as hard and it's not going to be as entertaining.
Rollin coal!
Dieeeeesel (((. Non ecologys!
May all of the US turn into a desert.
2021 heat wave says hi.
Wait...”heads up” drag racing means you can run a 11.0 and lose to a 11.2, just bc you tree’d quicker? That sounds more like bracket racing 🤔🤷♂️. Or am I missing something...
It's first across the line. That is how heads up has worked forever.
This is literally how drag racing has worked since the beginning of time. This really isn't up for discussion.
thomas d Isn’t that reflected on the ET though? Or is the use the ET and subtract the RT to get the total time?
@@MaxwellReviresco et does not include rt
Cory Stansbury So we should still be clubbin broads with tree branches and taking them in our cave too? Lol. 😆 🤪. No, but...I’m just asking an honest question, that’s all.

can't wait for Tesla or Rivian to completely make diesel obsolete. horrible trucks these.
Lewis Loening lol what about the factories that produce those Tesla cars and horrible batteries that can’t be recycled at all. At least those trucks can be crushed and recycled eventually. I’m just saying man, there’s pros and cons to every vehicle type.
@@tylerstravoski321 98% of batteries can be recyled quite easity and while its true that MAKING ev's produces CO2, the same is true for ever vehicle. the difference is that when the product is finished, that is when CO2 generation slows down alot compared to Petrol cars. Same is true for power plants both renewable and non renewable.
Lewis Loening that’s true. But the thing that I think battery powered cars will never compare to is hauling. Like trucking. I know Tesla is making a semi truck, but aren’t they ridiculously expensive and they can’t go anywhere near as far? I may be wrong. I respect electric cars a lot, but I just think there’s no way that they will completely replace all vehicles. Just seems a little too optimistic to me.
Diesel will never be obsolete, it's what makes the world go round so respect it
@@tylerstravoski321 that's true in part I think. but remember to haul you need Torque.. electric motors produce way more than a diesel or petrol powered vehicle. We are also only using around 5-8% of battery capacity right now. the Tesla truck is getting around 500miles range iirc. so taking that into account, if we can get to lets say 25% capacity on LiON batteries we could see trucks with a 2000+ mile range in the future.
