Thank you to everyone who's expressed concern over my personal information, I have definitely learnt a lesson... in the next videos I upload, I'll definitely be super cautious of these things! 😄 Alipay payment QR codes are only active for one minute and the payment password has since been changed 😅
“胡同” is a Northern term in China, mostly used in cities like Beijing or those in any northeastern provinces. “弄堂(lòng tang)” is the correct term in Shanghai. Yes, 弄=nòng, but this is the only place it's read as "lòng", as a special term in Shanghai. If you would like to learn more of our history, by any chance, you'll find more interesting facts in our culture. Have fun.
Your students are so lucky to have you as their teacher! And its a beautiful and peaceful school. Hope you have got a strong social fabric in Shanghai to support you.
Hi Jenna, I can see that you have settled down quite well. I used to live in London (years ago) for 9 years and I always cherish my time there as I was able to immerse in the culture and everything else. It has definitely broadens my horizon and make me a better person. I wish I could travel to China as I had not been there for more than 5 years already.
Oh, the lunch is organic and delicious. ❤ I miss my Thailand teacher experience. Those were the days. 😊 Thank you for uploading and showing how living and working in China really is in real life as an expat. Bless you, bless the students, and bless China. Nothing but ONE Love. 🥰🙏🌈✨️💖
This was great in-depth video on teaching and life as an expat in China. Side note, I was so afraid when you were typing your passcode I literally closed my eyes 😂😅.
Hahah! I moved in here last December! I live in the top floor apartment, but to be honest, they've completely renovated it, so it's double glazed...I think I can deal with it.
Hi Jenna! Thanks for the video. I've been to that import store in Shanghai a few years back. Can you remind me where is it located? I want to go there again.
A new found China vlogger! I subscribed already! I almost go to Shanghai too before the pandemic happened (both work and leisure purposes) thanks for bringing us there again! By the way, what's th name of the school you are working at? :)
Hello, your video appeared in my feed probably because I enjoy life in China content, I just noticed this is a year old so I will ask if you are still in China and will you be making more videos?
like your video, thanks. may i ask , with your income in shanghai as a teacher, are you able to maintain your living standard as you have in your home country?
Hi, thanks for your lovely video- I'm doing some research - could you please answer some interview questions for me? If you've willing , let me know😊😊😊
😂Dorina there have definitely been some near misses! Actually last year I was mid-voice note, riding down one of the bumpiest roads in Shanghai. (Don't worry, I was wearing headphones and my phone was in the phone holder, so it was 100% safe) and I must've ridden over a bump or something and fell over. The best/worst part is I have the whole fall/crash recorded - which my friends love to bring out at parties/when we meet new people 🙃
@@Welshtravelled that is hilarious..well in hindsight! XD that video must be golden. I hope you had a great week thanks for replying. Hopefully I will be teaching there too once I gather the courage.

It’s Apple Watch 6, 44 inch with a strap I bought from Taobao- not an original Apple brand watch strap.
