Never would thought of combining booleans with quad modeling. Nice job 👍

Nice video, in case anyone wants the dim's the chamfer is 30º and the offset of the top flat surface is normally 0.01" "less" than the distance across the hex flats

Simple video but really amazing, not meandering around like the others tutorials. Tks so much ❤ I don't use boolean much because it's really hard to control topology. But after this tutorial, I will see boolean in a different way 😅

If you go to Windows > Settings and Preferences > Color Settings, you'll find all the settings you need to fiddle with. I had to do a lot of fiddling to get something I like. And I've even messed with it since this video was recorded to tweak some things that weren't working well. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to also mess with the colors of the UI for the UV editor.

My videos are almost always long-form, but I try to make sure I'm not just showing you HOW to do something, but also WHY, and I try to be thorough.
They're not for everyone, and that's ok. As long as it helps those who need it, I'm happy.
