I thought he was played perfectly. He was older, more mature, and he was over all the partying, so he focused on the music. So, you're really not going to see a lot of Mick with the other guys being fools.

Motley crue my all time favorite band. I was 15 sitting in the back seat of the school bus with my boom box jamming to young to fall in love and shout at the devil.
I had blonde hair and my friends had black and brown hair. When we would go to parties someone would always yell out motley crue is here. I just want to say thanks to the band for getting me more girls than any one guy deserved.

You weren't missing much. All but Mick were total assholes in their heyday lol But credit where credit's due. The movie was good. I'm glad they put it on Netflix, or I wouldn't have bothered with it. And yes I was thoroughly impressed with Kels :)

Watched it and I loved it! Yes, there were several times that the timeline was not accurate. But I can overlook it. The reference to KISS by Doc was the main one. He didn't become their manager until 1996. But it was cool either way. Iwen was a total success as Mick. MGK was spot on to Tommy, as was Daniel and Douglas. I partied with Crew on November 7th 1987. They played in JACKSONVILLE Florida with GNR. There was a private party at the Bar/Lounge I worked at after the concert. I really don't remember much about it, but I know I don't have any regrets!!

@The Phantom it was cool to me either way, I really liked the movie. It was raw, realistic and whether or not it was totally accurate, it was long overdue.

There were a lot of time line inconsistencies in the movie. The big one, Skyler being 3 just as Theater of Pain was coming out. Vince was many many years from meeting Sharise at that point.

@The Phantom ummmm no. He was speaking IN the 80's, not the present

For all of you who are screaming FIX THE TITLE, MGK actually auditioned to play Nikki Sixx, and Douglas Booth auditioned to play Tommy Lee. It's even spelled out in the info above: "They give us all the dirt including how MGK and Douglas Booth were initially auditioning for the opposite roles!"
