Loved the movie! MGK was absolutely fantastic as Tommy Lee. I think he and the guy who played Vince really nailed their roles. Everyone killed it, though!
Anyone else notice how annoyed Kells got with this girl saying he was known in the music business "a little bit". He handled that soooooo well!!!! I love him he is so amazing!!
when she said to MGK you are "known in the industry a little bit"....ummm she could have used better wording bah I would have been annoyed if I was him and you well could kinda see he was me thinks!
Kells didn't enjoy that comment u can tell the interviewer goes to kells u been in the music business a little....he has only been in music since what 09 grinding hard now he has been acting more and morw
0:34 Just for those of you that haven't read the dirt(I would highly recommend it),When MGK says "The phone" he is talking about one time that they put a phone inside a girl per say and rang room service from it
Best film I've ever seen ngl Also it's crazy how the actor of nikki sixx has a British accent but in the movie you can't even tell. They all fit the roles really well. When I first watched it I watched it without spoilers and without knowing who the actors were at first and I actually didn't know MGK was Tommy Lee until I researched it. He played as Tommy so well!
Well, it's not a lot if you compare it to somebody that has been in the industry as long as the band members from Mötley Crüe or Madonna, for that matter ... MGK is only 29. If you want to talk to someone that knows the business, ask someone like Ozzy Osbourne, who has been around the block a couple of times. I did not mean to be disrespectful and I don't think he was taken aback by it at all. He thanked me after the interview because he enjoyed it so much.
Even though musical biopics like The Dirt, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Rocketman aren’t the most beloved movies by a lot of people, I am really grateful for them because without Bohemian Rhapsody I probably wouldn’t be a guitarist now and would probably still be listening to rap and pop music instead of rock n roll. And without the dirt I wouldn’t be into Motley Crue.
I’m a queen fan all the way but I gotta say yeah The Dirt is way better! More authentic, less changes made and clearly not a familiar movie which is cool
You all need to see Daniel in The Punisher and 11.22.63. He is a very under rated actor, absolutely love him in all the work he has done and can't wait to see him in more projects. Iwan and MGK are real life musicians so that was awesome that they chose actors who are real life musicians to portray these iconic musicians. Douglas himself comes from a music background. The casting is brilliant, and I am sorry but I LOVED this movie a bit more then Bohemian Rhapsody and that's coming from a massive QUEEN fan. In The Dirt the casting director casted real life musicians to play the these legendary musicians. When you watch the movie, it feels more raw and authentic. MGK and Iwan know what it is like to be in front of a crowd playing shows, screaming fans and what goes on behind the scenes, both actors play different genre of music.
Can't wait! Been waiting for this film for a long time. One of the first bands I have ever listened to and have always wanted to see a loyal film based on The Dirt.
@Poonis The fuck is that supposed to mean? I think the majority of people know the differences between a hair transplant, a wig, and a toupee. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out it's his natural hair, not the color, but the hair itself. Just takes someone smarter than your dumb ass apparently😂And a hair transplant is actual hair from his head idiot.
Anyone noticed how they behave exactly like original band 😂 Like the guys on the sides do all tge talking and the one in the middle is just sitting there silently 😂
Great interview... theses guys were great... up there with the actors in the Queen movie if not better... but I doubt if the R&R life style the Crue lived still exists today... Totally didferent world.. Gun Kelly was to quick to say yes.. I imagine sure there are still Groupies and parties.. but not to the extent that the Crue took it too... I can't imagine it. It was the 80's anything goes.. !
Any one knows why Daniel Webber wasn’t on the interview and premiere? It was such a great movie! I think everyone did a good job but I don’t know why Daniel stole my heart lol
I believe it was a jab BACK at the reporter who slyly tried to focus the interview on him because of his own musical success. MOTLEY CRUE, to the actual guys, lives by the old, "one for all, all for one," mindset. MGK was just slightly still in character.
Did you want guy from the movie from motley crue because of brown hair and the blue jacket He looks like 1 of the the band members that die in the movie
This lady is so off with interviewing. So awkward pauses and these I terciewers are using the same set as the vanity fair interview yet asking the same questions

douglas talking about how chill and calm nikki was
MGK: “tommy showed me how to smoke a cigarette through my nose”
My fav moment in the movie is when a girl asks Mick Mars “Are you in the band?”
-“WHAT BAND???”😀
That's Tommy Lee's wife!! Brittany Furlan. She is hilarious!
@@sosh1288 OH MY GOD THE FUCKING VINER! I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY WERE MARRIED. GOOD FOR HER OH MY GOD

His ego couldn’t handle it
Loved the movie! MGK was absolutely fantastic as Tommy Lee. I think he and the guy who played Vince really nailed their roles. Everyone killed it, though!
They did do a good job but all you have to do is stand and watch Nikki Sixx that's all he has to do is stand there with his beautiful self

It's a fun movie and I enjoyed the hell out of it, but if it's the best one you've ever seen you should definitely broaden your horizons.

More honest and unapologetic too so yeah, definitely better in that sense
