As someone who's been to concerts in the O2 arena in Prague, I don't understand how the laser pointer got past the arena's security. That shirt's more thorough than airports are. No cameras, no tablets, no powerbanks, no umbrellas .... Forget water bottles, but they will even confiscate your spare bottle cap (you have to buy the water bottle inside and they remove the cap completely before selling it to you, for safety, allegedly). They go through your entire bag, every single pocket, even checked my little see through bag with menstrual pads to make sure I wasn't bringing anything forbidden. During twenty one pilots concert, they even took my yellow tape (fans wrap it around their clothing like the artists do) that was smaller than my palm
I’ve worked at huge stadium concerts for Taylor swift jay z Justin Timberlake in Vancouver , and let me tell you it’s extremely easy to get in with a gun if you have a work uniform
There is an underlying problem ~ the lack of apparent innovation in laser safety. Blaming civilian laser use is like posting a 'No Slamming' sign on a noisy bathroom door instead of fixing the door itself. While bans might seem like a quick fix, they don’t address the underlying vulnerabilities. We should be calling on engineers to advance technology to mitigate these risks. Solutions lie in innovation, not in shifting blame or relying on temporary measures that avoid the core issues.
"Civilian laser". I'm sorry but you have no idea what you're talking about. It's very easy to buy a laser that can start a fire. You talk about innovation like it's magic, there's in no way to make lasers "safe" and still have them be effect. It's like making a knife that can cut steak, but not your skin. Eye protection is how we deal with laser, and there's now way to filter out ever frequency without hampering the pilots vision. People need to take responsibility for there actions, as with owning a car, a knife or anything else that can hurt someone else.

😂😂😂😂 huh?
People in Prauge might not even realize that many Americans associate lazers with guns, many of us own guns with lazers
"calling for an SOS" gold. 🤣
he didn't wanna second guess 😜
Those with Type 1 Diabetes are 2-6x more likely to have some form of epilepsy too…
This was the case for a girl I knew in highschool who didn’t know she got seizures till this one classroom’s light wouldn’t stop flickering and every time she had class there, her left arm would lose all feeling and movement.
What is wrong with people
Look, if he thought his life was in danger... He did the right thing!
Good job, Kid, he was moving!
Throwing ashes on stage is diabolical 😂
The stupidity of humans...
This is really serious. He did not overreact at all. Watching with Immersive translate generated subtitles.
lol americans are so used to normalising guns that they think it’s normal to have sniper guns in europe other than army barracks. 😂😂
Didn't one of the Taylor Swift concert in Europe had a bomb threat? And the guys who did the threat were found to have guns at home?
@@maeannengo4908Yes the taylor swift concert in austria was cancelled bc of it
Love you nick!!!
People are morons, singers are gonna start having those plexiglas shields on the stage like Presidents.
I mean just a laser can blind you. Better safe than sorry.
What a baby. Lol
I appreciate the SOS callback.
whats the point of lasers why dont they ban them
As someone who's been to concerts in the O2 arena in Prague, I don't understand how the laser pointer got past the arena's security.
It very well could have been someone who wasn’t required to go through a typical security check.
Out of all the celebrities its nick jones who thinks he'll get assassinated 😂
For real tf was he thinking, must’ve been watching to many Steven Segal films
Laugh all you want. Don't think this never happened before.
Fearing for one's own safety is not dumb. Not realizing there could be danger is extremely dumb.
I’ve worked at huge stadium concerts for Taylor swift jay z Justin Timberlake in Vancouver , and let me tell you it’s extremely easy to get in with a gun if you have a work uniform
These people are not fans. Fans wouldn’t do crap like this. They’re jerks and they need to grow up.
He left his brothers to die
yup, that laser was about to blow everyone up lol
@@lobomalsano he ran away because he thought it was a laser on a gun. You already knew that though. You just want to be combative.
@@turtleneckferret Well, that's one dumb though. He plays too much shooter games? Is he 14 years old?
That’s just plain disrespectful! A natural reaction for sure.
He had every right to exercise his safety. You can't tell if it is a laser pointer or a real gun pointing at you. Can't take that likely.
I just picture Sid from toy story using a laser pointer like a menace to society from his bedroom 😂
He probably thought it was a gun.... That audience members should be arrested....
He probably thought it was a gun pointing at him
There is an underlying problem ~ the lack of apparent innovation in laser safety.
@@aronm5329 Look up the Laser incident in 1999, there is an article calling for the industry to do just what I said, for the same reason. YeS, its HaRd, but adults can find ways to approach things better. Money is spent on Research and Development where scientists with experience exist who innovate as a job. Vector based Navigation, photonics, and more robust GPS are all viable options, merely leaving the option open to be more mature about active boundaries. Example: Is it right to feel bad at 3AM because you were woken up by your phone, or should you remember to put it on silent?
