One of your best episodes John. The blend of fact, myth and the supernatural is often more fascinating than any of the elements alone. Thanks for posting.

this was so good! the shots were breathtaking and the combined myth and local stories always brings a new layer to the show. I love your videos, and it almost has a David Attenborough vibe to them

we used to go there from here in Cincinnati to look for artifacts which are everywhere. A lot of people think that the Adena were just absorbed into the Hopewell. The University of Cincinnati recently determined that a asteroid blowing up in low atmosphere in Ohio had something to do with them dying off.

I'm happy it was named Mound cemetery, instead of that all too common: I'm the man in charge, I'm naming it after me!

That's a beautiful cemetery and from what I can see, very peaceful. But one should indeed respect such places. There are some locations where there are spirits and they don't take lightly to getting disrespected.
How are you all keeping? Long time no see... very well presented as always!

@@CuriousHistoryYT Same here! I should have had major surgery in May, to cure me from severe disability... got kicked off the operating table, literally as I was about to be put under, because the surgeon took offense to me having asked a few questions about my aftercare! Weeks prior that is, so this didn't come as a surprise to him... he made it out that "it's not normal to ask questions" and that I must therefore "need a psych assessment, and without that he isn't going to operate"!
I knew long before then that he is unhinged but didn't know it's that bad... I dodged a bullet there, wouldn't want some unstable lunatic like that cutting around in my neck! Trouble is, now I'm staying disabled as he is the only surgeon in the UK that does the surgery I need... have to try alternative medicine now, whether something will help I don't know but it seems I don't even have the condition they all "diagnosed" me with - without ever examining me - so maybe there's hope.
You should've seen that "neurosurgeon"... he kicked my neckbrace around like a ball... totally unhinged that dude! Lucky escape, but that leaves me disabled for life... like you said, 2024 is proving itself to be a challenge. Stay strong, these are difficult times!

@@CuriousHistoryYT I see my reply to you has been deleted again by YT. So in short - yup, challenges here too, got major surgery that should have cured me from severe disability canceled in May because the surgeon took offense to me having asked a few questions about my aftercare... turned out he was totally unstable! That leaves me disabled for life now... he's the only surgeon who does the surgery I need in the entire UK. Very challenging times, stay strong!

So the 2nd time I was listening to this, I was fooling around with my friend Mr. Google. It appears that a ley line runs through Marietta Ohio as well. Ley lines are known to conduct energy, so....
