Priests of Mars by Graham McNeill: Avatar of Khaine trashes a Black Templars Reclusiarch, who has to command his brothers to leave him behind. Warboss by Mike Brooks: Avatar of Khaine has the three strongest orks, who have been fighting each other for leadership of a Waaagh, in such a struggle, that they are forced to gang up on it. And when their teamwork slips for a second, it kills two of them with the last ork standing, against all Ork instincts, choosing to leave the fight, which the ork rationalizes by believing they're retreating towards a bigger fight. Bonus: The Avatar of Khaine stops pursuing the orks, because some humans shot at it and the scene closes with it bearing down on them, heavily implied to be unstoppable. PS: If you know any more Avatar of Khaine W moments, put em here.
The avatar of Khaine in Valedor gets left behind by the rest of the craftworld forces after a disastrous first assault on a tyranid horde. The eldar spend the next few days regrouping, come back for another go at it and discover that not only is the avatar still alive, it has done nothing but kill tyranids for the past three days and is found standing atop a mountain of bug corpses, throttling a Trygon. The avatar also shows up in one of the Ciaphas Cain books, there's a moment where Cain and friends are running from a daemon Prince when the eldar show up and start chanting "Khaine! Khaine! Khaine!" Cain hears this and wonders how the fuck the eldar know his name and why they're so happy to see him. Then he looks up into the sky and sees a burning figure falling towards them with incredible speed. The avatar of Khaine jumped out of an eldar ship in orbit and sketches a perfect super hero landing, then beats the crap out of the daemon Prince.

My understanding of the distinction between Khorne and Khaine is that Khaine is just plainly mass murder and slaughter, with no rhyme or reason, completely honourless, and without any sense to it, whereas Khorne is more systematic and has his own viking-style sense of honour (and by Viking I mean Raider; you gotta have your dinner before having your dessert). Khaine was actually told by the daughter of Isha that the Eldar would bring about Khaine's end, which was a bit of a dick move since the Eldar are technically her siblings. Khaine immediately went around massacreing Eldar, which emotionally devastated Isha, and started a big issue in the pantheon.
What makes a Farseer special isn't that they can see into the future. Most psychers can do that. They can typically see all futures and make accurate predictions on what is likely to happen. In... I want to say the 3rd edition eldar codex there is a quote from a farseer where they state that they know that the dark eldar are going to attack through a specific web way gate but that it would be an utter waste of time and life to guard it. His student asks why. The farseer says that his abilities let him know the attack will happen, but not when it will happen. That it could be now or 500 years from now. That is why Elderad Ulthrin is supposed to be amazing. He can see all permutations of the future and make accurate predictions that remain true even thousands of years into the future despite its many branching paths

5: future isn't exact in 40K, so they just read the wrong one then get stuck in a fight they can't win due to being throughly outclassed at all physical levels, so the future sight is only enough to keep them barely alive for a while. Or just make it a very limited resource in some manner. I.e: i can see into the future with perfect accuracy for 27 seconds every day. If the fight lasts longer than 28 seconds i am in a really really bad position.
The eldar seer saw a great victory, committed his forces and then got horribly mangled. It was a great victory for his enemies though. The thing about eldar visions is that the long distance shit isn't an itemised list of exactly what they need to do to win everything forever, its more like a drug trip vision quest they have to interpret. The more more immediate future is easier to read and problems with a limited number of variables are also easier. Flip a million coins in front of a farseer and they will call it correctly literally every time. But a battlefield is FAR more complex than the binary results of a coin flip. There is a reason why most craftworlds have their armies lead by actual military strategists and not farseers, ITS STILL KINDA IMPORTANT. Farseer crutches are a Fandom meme, only Ulthwe goes super hard on minority reporting people.

Eldar have some very strict gender roles in their society, but they have the technology to alter your gender as easily as you alter a suit of armor. In the story this was mostly about the drukhari but I expect the craftworld Eldar to have access to the same technology. All howling banshees are female. This does not exclude anyone from signing up, but some might have a bonus step in their physical exam to go through in initiation.
Eldrad, Magnus, and Kairos having a three way future sight proxy war for shots and giggle like The Infinity and the Divine could be a very fun story. The best way to do future sight in 40K is to have more people looking at the future and messing with what the other person sees.
Unfortunately for Heath Ledger, he was allergic to the props/makeup used to create that Joker Smile. He was using an immense amount of drugs to try not to constantly hurt, but that eventually caught up to him. It's really cool to think that the Joker killed him, but the tragedy of Heath is that he was more like Bane.

When you mentioned actors getting so into a role it can effect their speech, I was reminded of Charlie Hunan. While playing Jax Teller for Sons of Anarchy, he forgot how to speak like the part of England he is from and took vocal lessons to bring it back. Also, gene stealers, obviously. Will say, best Joker and most defining of a portrayal is Hamill.
What I want to see is Eldrad having to fight against impossible fates. Where every turn he makes, every alternate future he envisions, leads to a worse outcome. Kill that bloodline, well that'll cause a major Slaaneshi cult uprising over there. Kill all them too? Well that'll piss off the Drukhari who'll raid the Craftworld instead. Hide the Craftworld? Another craftworld will get destroyed if they're not there to help. One of the hardest struggles as a leader is having to choose between two options that will both lead to bad outcomes and you know it. This happened to me. I worked at a fast food restaurant, and I had to make a choice. It was valentine's day, and we were doing some gimmicky heart-shaped food thing for it. And it was going too slow. So I had to make the choice between giving people normal shaped food or having wait times get up to 20-30 minutes. No matter what happened, I was going to get chewed out for it, so I made the best decision I could. It sucked.

Fun idea for the future sight Eldar and how to write him. Since he can see the possibilities, there's the story. You don't write what happens because that's a given with him involved but write what could have happened in several different versions as he figures out the best course of action.
I still want a Warhammer 40k game where you can have a Howling Banshee in your party. Like, most of the ones that give you an elf for the group it is a sniper or sharpshooter or some other flavour of long range. It would be so funny to go "Oh yeah, I have an Eldar in my group, there they are." And it is a whirlwind of blades and screams.

Regarding writing stories with characters with foresight: Just let us look at "The infinite and the divine", i mean Orikan can't really see into the future, but also can kinda prevent it when it wont fit how he likes it... and that book was written awesomely with that.
The full Jean outfit had better include jorts and jean leggings. And you might be saying to yourself, "oh, but i don't have either of those, so i can't..." Stop Don't play, you have scissors, creativity and a pair of jeans that are more holes than denim at this point. Think of iysanders face as you give us all a little catwalk turn... The best way i could write that future sight, is that the outcome occuring is legit required to have the greatest result, and its not a hidden trait until the end reveal.
I do want an episode going over the Eldar equipment. The warp spiders are terrifying with their guns that shoot webbing that you can not see and will shred you to ribbons before you know it. A wraith episode would be ok too. Going in depth of how they are created and "piloted".
I think that you might be misremembering the bit about the War in Heaven. The War in Heaven was between the Old Ones and the Necrontyr, then between the Old Ones and the Necrons. The Aeldari and the proto-Orks were seeded by the Old Ones who then tried to accelerate their advancement in order to aid the Old Ones in the war which they were losing badly. The Aeldari were not even close to ready for the Necrons to even consider them a nuisance by the time the war was over. Having slain the Old Ones and enslaved their own gods, the Necrons slept, for there were no more worlds to conquer.

What I want to see is Eldrad having to fight against impossible fates. Where every turn he makes, every alternate future he envisions, leads to a worse outcome. Kill that bloodline, well that'll cause a major Slaaneshi cult uprising over there. Kill all them too? Well that'll piss off the Drukhari who'll raid the Craftworld instead. Hide the Craftworld? Another craftworld will get destroyed if they're not there to help.
One of the hardest struggles as a leader is having to choose between two options that will both lead to bad outcomes and you know it. This happened to me. I worked at a fast food restaurant, and I had to make a choice. It was valentine's day, and we were doing some gimmicky heart-shaped food thing for it. And it was going too slow. So I had to make the choice between giving people normal shaped food or having wait times get up to 20-30 minutes. No matter what happened, I was going to get chewed out for it, so I made the best decision I could. It sucked.

Fun idea for the future sight Eldar and how to write him. Since he can see the possibilities, there's the story. You don't write what happens because that's a given with him involved but write what could have happened in several different versions as he figures out the best course of action.

I still want a Warhammer 40k game where you can have a Howling Banshee in your party. Like, most of the ones that give you an elf for the group it is a sniper or sharpshooter or some other flavour of long range.

Regarding writing stories with characters with foresight: Just let us look at "The infinite and the divine", i mean Orikan can't really see into the future, but also can kinda prevent it when it wont fit how he likes it... and that book was written awesomely with that.

I do want an episode going over the Eldar equipment. The warp spiders are terrifying with their guns that shoot webbing that you can not see and will shred you to ribbons before you know it.
A wraith episode would be ok too. Going in depth of how they are created and "piloted".

I think that you might be misremembering the bit about the War in Heaven. The War in Heaven was between the Old Ones and the Necrontyr, then between the Old Ones and the Necrons. The Aeldari and the proto-Orks were seeded by the Old Ones who then tried to accelerate their advancement in order to aid the Old Ones in the war which they were losing badly. The Aeldari were not even close to ready for the Necrons to even consider them a nuisance by the time the war was over. Having slain the Old Ones and enslaved their own gods, the Necrons slept, for there were no more worlds to conquer.

15:21 correction it was one of the other elder gods who forsaw their doom, i think it was the elder god of the dead and Kaine was like "oh shit really? Lets just wipe out the elder now" and cause a huge war between the gods and the elder, a 3 way battle
