If you are thinking of purchasing this board. Let me tell you...that its build quality is average, but not of premium feel. It definetly isnt as good in quality as other boards. But, in term of sound...this is where this board really shines. It sounds super marbly with gateron milky yellow pros or ktt switches. I would highly recommend if you want a deep sounding board. If you want a loud board with a good clack sound, then you will need to purchase much more expensive keyboard kits. Like the Salvation or the Mode selections. Bye, and hope you find your desired board...
This is my cheapest board. Over the last six months that I’ve owned it, it has become my go-to keyboard because of form factor, sound, and the fact that it’s so cheap I won’t feel bad if it’s lost. 😂 I lubed, clipped, and holee modded the stab; two layer-tempest mod and some polyfill later and this board sounds SO CREAMY with the KTT Kang Whites. With the Gateron Smoothies, the feel and sound makes me want to eat the board. I used some cheap SA keycaps from Aliexpress and the creamy-thocky-poppy sound profile is to die for
KTT Kang Whites stock is super scratchy, so if you’re not trying to lube your switches the cream yellows would probably be a better option. On the other hand, lubed KTT Kang Whites sound so good, so if you’re down to spend the time to lube these yourself, I’d highly recommend these switches. I also do commissions if you’d like me to do it for you ❤️
@@paulolol8941 the stabs that are currently on there are the stock stabs that came with the kit, the spacebar was modded with the holee mod. One thing to note however is even with modding the stabs have become ticky with use, so I would recomed buying a new set of better stabs.
been using this keyboard now for just over 2 months with some azure dragon switches, never built my own before and this board is a great place to start, yours sounds pretty damn nice, I went more with a thocky sounding switch as I've never enjoyed linear swtiches.
do u prefer the kit adam with cs lavenders or the gmk67 with kang whites? or should i go with something else, for example the gmk67 with epomaker wisteria switches or with the lavenders
the gmk67 is a cheap kit so it is a little less reliable, I would recommend a bit of a nicer board like the Adam if you have the budget, as it would be more reliable in long-term use.
I know absolutely nothing about custom keyboards, but I want to build this keyboard but with the f keys also, would anyone be able to help me put a kit together for doing that?
Of course! This kit specifically you can find in the description of my GMK67 Video (The one with the blue sky), with all the links to each part in the descriptions.
@@mochapoo yeah I saw the links, but do you know what kit I would get if I wanted the function keys? or do they not have a cheaper version for that layout?
@@Sirmellowman so function keys are in 75% keyboards. This one is a 65%. Some pretty affordable options include the aluminum kit Monsgeek M1, or Keychron's cheaper plastic options like their C1 or V1. Akko also has some options. They definately aren't as cheap as the GMK67, at $30 or higher, but are better quality parts.

Does it support qmk via?
Such a perfect simple budget build, i love it! 🔥
This is literally the exact keyboard I plan on building, what a coincidence.
and i mean everything, the keycaps, switches, and kit

Sounds nice!👍
sounds... muted... creamy... yes.
Which would you say is more creamier or thocker Akko v3 cream yellows or ktt kang whites? both stock / lubed
KTT Kang Whites stock is super scratchy, so if you’re not trying to lube your switches the cream yellows would probably be a better option. Thanks! just got some KTT kang whites (Lubed) today and my kb sounded a lot better.
also what stabs did you use for your spacebar? Your spacebar sounds amazing

i did this exact build and it is so creamy

did you remove the exisiting sheet foam and replaced it with pe foam or did you use both? great build!
We only replaced the case foam with PE, all of the other foam was stock.
dis is like the creamiest keyboard ive ever heard
Sound nice! How many layers of tape did u use? And what case foam did u use?
3 layers of tape, I used my own pe foam.
@@mochapoowill it make a difference if i use poron foam instrad
sounds so good! btw did u use the pe foam that came with the keyboard or did use ur own. Also did u use the plate foam. Thanks
I used my own pe foam and also used the plate foam.
what's the thickness of your pe foam? ^^
did you put the pe foam as case foam or on top of the pcb?
would you recommend applying switch films? i seriously think this is the greatest budget linear as of now
I don't recommend applying films as the switch is alr pretty tight and it would be a little waste of money
is this keycaps make a big diffrence about the sound also ?

Sorry for this late, but are these switches v3?
Nice ring
Are the switches hand lubed by you or do they have factory lube?
We hand lubed the switches, they come with no lube from factory and are very scratchy. I would recommend a healthy serving of lube when lubing them.
u try this configuration with the most bad quality keycaps u got? please?
Hey! Could I ask what thickness foam did you use in that build?
We filled the board, I don't know the exact thickness but the entire board was filled.
@@mochapoo Alright thank you! Currently waiting for parts to do the exact same build, great stuff!
keycaps?
are the KTT Kang Whites from ali express good
yea they’re fine for us
@@mochapoo hi can you share the link to it
damn i got the keycaps and switches and a "better" kit i should really lube my switches and tune stabs lmao
This a lubed switches or not?
Help me pls. GMK67 is good for gaming? No latency when wired?
When playing wired there was no latency, It was a little finicky with the connectivity though but it shouldn't cause any problem.
Thoccky
What are the Keycapppppppsssss😫
Does anyone know if there is a 75% version of this keyboard?
what keycaps used here?
White latte chocolate
how clacky is it in real life? or is it just that creamy?
its super creamy in real life
@@mochapoo ok
did tape mod make a difference?
Yep, it would get a very louder sound, creamy and thocky as gmk81 of mine 😂😂😂
Stock stabs?
Tape mod with painter's tape? and how many layers?
3 layers
uuuhhhhhhhhhhh 🤤🤤
this is so creamy omg
did you tape mod it?
