welp I accidentally recorded the vid in 720p30, sorry gais 20.10.23 EDIT: Thank you all so much for the support!! If you're interested you can also commission me to build the exact same keyboard for you if you'd like! linktr.ee/Kayoris
Nice sound! I built mine with custom PE foam and nothing I wanna switch back to IXPE like yours here. Sounds cleaner and probably less loud. I might experiment with polyfill in the future
I'm not sure to be honest, it's hard to compare with the versions since they're all just made out of the same material. fyi: majority of the sound profile will come from the keyboard itself like the configuration that was used (ex. tape mod & pe foam mod)
i bought mine directly from Payson Lubricants. For trustable sites, I would recommend you to get it from well known sites like KeebsForAll (fyi u could use my referral for 5% off). Ideally you should just get the lube from your local stores. No matter what brand you choose whether or not its KBA, NovelKeys or Divinikey, you'll end up getting the same lubricant since its supplied by Krytox. if you're still unsure about how it looks, you can refer to some images from Google or other content creators on how 205g0 looks like.
@@kayoriskeyboards do you have any tips on how I can make the GMK67 more "Thocky"? I have recently made the same build but I'm wondering if there was any way to have a deeper sound profile. Thanks!
@@drig_10 more layers of tape should help, but the more layers you add, the more space you take out for the board to flex. Additionally you could try using polyfill or pe foam as your case foam. All my other gmk67 builds do use about the same configuration with just an additional 3 layers of tape
@@mizuto1Ah alright, I have actually tried osu on the GMK67 with some random speed switches and I couldn't really tell about it's latency but as far as I know, the wireless connectivity for the GMK67 is great.
I have this keyboard since may and I bought XVX profile keycaps. But I find typing a bit difficult cause caps are all too near each other. To have more "space" I need to buy some other keycaps or is it just the keyboard layout like this?
I'm not sure tbh. I've actually never tested out the stock stabilizers, but I have a feeling it should be good enough when it's modded and it wouldn't need an upgrade to some better stabs like durock.
thanks for the bump; it's been a few months and I've built two GMK67s with the stock stabs and like what he mentioned, it rattles. But it can be easily fixable from balancing the wire or just doing some simple mods like the holee mod or plumbers mod. Like what I mentioned before, it WILL be good enough when it's modded.
The plate had enough clearance for the housing to fit through. For durock stabs ofcourse. I'm not sure about other screw-in stabs cuz some housings can be big or small.

Where do you buy your 205g0? I've been looking around but don't know what sites/brands to trust. Pls reply as soon as you can.

yo what's the polling rate on this keyboard and also is it n-keyrollover?
i'm not sure about the polling rate however I think it should be the standard1.5k hz. And yes, it is NKRO supported both wired & wireless
@@kayoriskeyboards thanks that will be quite helpful as i am a rhythm gamer looking for a custom keyboard

Do the cream yellows sound similar to the blues?
Yup
Are the switches greased?
yes, theyre lubed with krytox 205g0

try getting cherry. I shifted from oem to xda to cherry and cherry fits the best and has the most pleasant sound
Hows the feel of stock stabilizers of gmk67? is it recommended to replace it by durock?

Where did you get the gmk clones? can't find any good ones anywhere
Got mine off from MintCaps, it's a chinese keycap store from the marketplace Taobao
was the foam sheet u used 0.5mm?
should be, I can't check it anymore since it was made for a client
how were you able to fit your screw in stabs in the gmk plate?
