Ingredients:
2 cups flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup cold butter
3/4 cup heavy cream
topping: brush with melted butter and sprinkle liberally with cinnamon sugar
Cinnamon Scones are made in a similar way to biscuits BUT the on big difference is Heavy Cream. No cutting in shortening of butter because scones are made with only cream.
The heavy cream gives the scone such a wonderful rich flavor. Learn how to bake and cook from someone who really enjoys food. I have always surrounded myself with the best cooks. Fantastic tip with using another sheet to shield the bottom of the scones. Definitely using that next time.
