I just made these today and they came out delicious. I actually made them for my sweet neighbor who celebrated her 101 st birthday today. Apples are her favorite baked ingredient. So thank you for this recipe
Hello Michele! Thank you so much for this note 🥰 I’m honored to have been a small part of such a special day. Please tell your neighbor I said “Happy Birthday!” 🎉 Sending love to you too for being such a sweet neighbor! Thanks for watching ❤️, Marie
Delicious scones! It's definitely a keeper recipe! Never made scones without butter and egg before! I'm so on board with this way of making them! Thank you, Marie!❤ #subscriber
This recipe is wonderful!!!! LOVE them + my husband LOVES them! I grated the apple and added a teas. Of cinnamon to the dry ingredients! All your recipes are awesome! THANKS So MUCH!!!👍
Marie, i stumbled on your scones recipe a few weeks ago and tried it this week. We cannot get enough of them and so easy to put together! Thank you for this incredible addition to our family breakfast! Love from Burundi! ❤
This is DEFINITELY the best scone recipe that I have ever used. I used a Stevia calorie free sweetener in place of sugar for both the scone recipe and the glaze using a granular for the scone recipe and a confectioner's Stevia for the glaze. I have tried "numerous" scone recipes using a Keto Almond and/or Coconut flour and never did really find one that appealed to me. I a DONE researching scone recipes after trying this one. THIS is IT ! Thank You !
Hi Wally! Wonderful to hear? Which keto flour did you use? I’d love to try it and recommend to viewers! Thanks for the very helpful feedback - I have lots of viewers asking for lower carb and lower sugar versions of baked goods 😊, Marie
Hi Denise! Welcome! Thanks so much for watching and taking time to leave a note 😊 I’m thrilled to hear you’re excited about trying some recipes! Keep me posted and stay tuned ❤️, Marie
Thank you so much,my family just love them. I am making them for the second time I am going to bring them to Massachusetts, so I know they gonna just love them. Thank you so much God bless.
I wanted to make these for breakfast this morning but it seemed like too much work for morning 😂 So what I did was put all the dry ingredients together last night then this morning added the diced apple and heavy cream and vanilla and made the dough, cut them up and baked them. So good!! 👍🏼👍🏼
You’re genius! 🙌🏼 Measuring out dry ingredients is a bit of a hassle 😩 So smart of you to break it up. And I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed them today! They really are so good, and the apple cinnamon combo makes me ready for fall! Thanks for watching and for taking time to leave a note - I always love to hear from viewers 😊 Stay tuned for more new recipes coming soon! Hugs, Marie
Hi Yolande! So glad you like them! Keep in mind you can add other fruits like peaches or blueberries in the spring and summer. Or white chocolate chips and dried cranberries! Lots of ways to have fun with this recipe. ❤️, Marie
These look very good. While watching you scatter the raw sugar/cinnamon on top I wondered what they would be like topped with crumb topping/streusel. I am going to make these with the streusel which is probably my favorite part of anything baked with crumb stopping. Thank you for the recipe.
I've been researching scones for a future video and came across your video -- fantastic. Easy to follow. Well made. I've pinned this for later. Have a great day and thanks for sharing. :)
❤Hi there, what difference would adding an egg to this make. There are recipes for scones that do use eggs for richness. What would that do the texture, and would that make them rise the same❤ Thank you for your Channel,l am from the U.K.
Hi Patricia! Thanks for watching 😊 I love the idea of adding an egg for richness. The only issue is that the dough would probably be too wet, and you might have to spoon them onto the parchment like drop biscuits, which is not necessarily a bad thing ☺️ The rise should be the same either way. Let me know if you try it and I’ll do the same! Big hugs, Marie
Hi! Thanks so much for watching and great question! Grating the apple is a wonderful idea! Thank you for that suggestion - I’m definitely going to try it myself 😊 Stay tuned for more new videos coming soon. My best, Marie
Hi Virginia! I love a Mexican vanilla called La Vencedora. I buy it in a big jar in Amazon. However a viewer recently informed me that the product contains some artificial vanilla in addition to pure vanilla, so please be aware before purchasing ❤️, Marie
@@marieskitchen just tried these and they were a big hit. I didn’t have heavy cream so I made a mixture of ricotta, water and a tablespoon of melted butter...it worked fine, but I had to add about an extra 1/4 cup of flour...and I only used 1 cup of the ricotta/water mixture. Love how easy this is to make. Thanks for posting😀👍
Hi! Thanks for watching 😊 I just don’t use egg in mine and the turn out lovely. I’m not sure what other recipes require. Sorry I can’t be of more help! - Marie

Thanks Theresa! Hope you get to try them! ❤️
When you make Icing like that. I can't eat much regular dairy. Use almond milk. I usually use Almond Milk.
Do you have a link for the parchment baking sheets?
Thank you!
Sure!

@@marieskitchen You're welcome. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Marie.
Can I use any type of flour with this recipe
Hi! What flour did you have in mind? You could use self rising flour but then leave out the baking powder and salt. H op e that helps, Marie
Can I add the cinnamon to the flour mixture?
Great idea! Yes! Thanks Kathy! ❤️

Would grating the apple also be ok? if one wants the flavor without the chunks?
Hi! Thanks so much for watching and great question! Grating the apple is a wonderful idea! Thank you for that suggestion - I’m definitely going to try it myself 😊 Stay tuned for more new videos coming soon. My best, Marie
Would you say it was about 1/2 of an inch thick before cutting ?
Sorry for the delay! Yes about 3/4 to 1/2 inch. Thanks for watching ❤️, Marie
No butter..is it because the extra 1/2 c cream?
Correct! It’s so easy! Thanks for watching ❤️, Marie
What kind of vanilla do you use?
Hi Virginia! I love a Mexican vanilla called La Vencedora. I buy it in a big jar in Amazon. However a viewer recently informed me that the product contains some artificial vanilla in addition to pure vanilla, so please be aware before purchasing ❤️, Marie
Sounds and looks great but no egg?
Right! No egg or butter! It’s such an easy recipe and still turns out so delicious! Hope you get to try them 😊

Never seen a true scone recipe with an egg.
So, why doesn't your recipe include egg? I am looking at a lot of recipes that have eggs.
