    Wouldn't the Pro Bowl idea only give 2 weeks to plan the super bowl because they wouldn't know where they're hosting it until the AFC/NFC title game?

    • @heelyfreek1
      @heelyfreek1 5 лет назад +5

      Bo Dinger It’s an awful idea. But I would still have to assume that each division would need to put up a city for it to be plausible.

      1 week. Only gets 2 weeks now because of the pro bowl. If pro bowl is played early, just 1 week between games.

    My unpopular opinion = I love steroids in baseball. I get that it hurts the integrity of the game and isn't fair to the players that play clean but you can't tell me watching juiced up dudes like sosa and bonds just absolutely hit the shit out of the ball isn't fun as hell.

    • @ChrisR-uz4jq
      @ChrisR-uz4jq 8 лет назад +1

      very much agree with this one. i watch sports to be entertained. I still love mlb now but never was more entertained watching the game as i was watching Bonds put in work. I dont remember all the title winners from back then and really dont care. But will never forget watching Bonds take ab after ab and making fools of pitchers

    • @SFK360
      @SFK360 7 лет назад

      Yeah, there's a major stigma around PED's but that steroids era was enormous (pun kind of intended) for the league. The home run race took them out of the gutter after the strike and baseball was wildly popular in general with the major offensive numbers.

    A better Pro Bowl idea would be the Winner of the Pro bowl Decides if the Superbowl will be at a NFC or AFC Stadium the next season.

  • @KC1996LFC
    @KC1996LFC 8 лет назад +6

    So the players that make the pro bowl would have to be based off of the first 8 weeks of the season, after that we know which conference will host the super bowl but have no idea which team/city, we will then have to wait until that conferences title game giving a city 2 weeks to plan a super bowl. Stadiums like Oakland's, cold cities like New England/Boston, Chicago and smaller markets like Green Bay and Buffalo would have an equal chance of hosting it. They've already allocated super bowls which are 3 seasons away but you want them to do it in the space of 2 weeks just to make the pro bowl relevant? Super Bowl should always be neutral site. Imagine Denver/Seattle/KC/NE/GB playing a home super bowl.

    I have polar opposite opinion. Belichick made Brady . First 3 SBs Brady was nothing special, he really broke out once they got Moss, but then he failed twice vs the Giants and barely beat Seattle cause they couldn't get out of their own way.

    • @bcmoykg
      @bcmoykg 8 лет назад +4

      +Fedor Gaponenko Brady led a full field drive to set up a super bowl winning kick with 47 seconds in his rookie year. How many QB's that young could handle the pressure to do that. And those giants losses were because of his defense choking harder than a porn star. Also the seatlle game was won because brady led to full field TD drives in the 4th quarter on the best defense in the league. I agree he got off to a slow start but he was a 7th round pick lol he needed some games to become the GOAT

    • @fedorgaponenko8504
      @fedorgaponenko8504 8 лет назад +2

      +bcmoykg He didn't win a SB rookie year it was year 2. Also how did his D choke vs the Giants? especially the first one when they were undefeated and then couldn't get more than 20 points after setting all the records in the regular season

    • @bcmoykg
      @bcmoykg 8 лет назад +6

      it was his first year as the starter, he was drafted the year before and sat on the bench. And his defense choked the first one because with only like 2 minutes left brady threw a touchdown to moss to put them up and all his defense had to do was not let david tyrie pull off the luckiest catch in SB history and he'd have 5 rings. Brady did was he had to do to win and his defense couldn't close. Almost happened to him this year too

    • @TheLastYard3
      @TheLastYard3 7 лет назад

      bcmoykg the Pats shouldn't even been in that situation. The defense was ranked 4th in points allowed, 4th in yards, and 9th in turnovers. All which was better than the Giants

    • @thespongemonkey
      @thespongemonkey 7 лет назад +1

      I completely agree with this opinion. If you look at his stats, Brady's only put up elite stats half the time, only 2 years were he's put up a league best QBR and Yards, only 1 with best completion %. I don't think we would of been bad, he probably still would of been better than average, but he hasn't put up GOAT stats in my opinion.

    It's all BB, no Tom Brady. When Brady missed season, Pats went 11-5. Pats are like 14-6 without Brady
    BB changes the entire scheme each game depending on match up. He spoon feeds brady

    Most people think the US doesn't care about soccer, but if the USA team won the world cup, it would be bigger than any other championship game. Even more than the superbowl.

    The Pro Bowl should be like the NBA and have a drafting system. That would make it a million times more entertaining. Also, have a cash prize so you’d have the best at each position actually show you WHY they’re the best at their position. Make it an actual competition.

    Seeing the Super Bowl in snow at Lambeau would be amazing. That being said, the reason the Pro Bowl idea is stupid is because no team would want to risk their players to injury. Imagine if Brady or Rodgers went down in the Pro Bowl and ruined the rest of their season since now obviously the players might be trying hard to secure home field. The outrage such an injury would have would overshadow the rest of the year.

    Here is my unpopular sports opinion. Division winners in NFL shouldn't automatically make the playoffs. The Chiefs blew out the Texans 30-0 today which is proof of that. The Jets went 10-6 this year in a tough AFC East and they missed the playoffs. The playoff picture should had been like this if Division Winners didn't automatically make the playoffs.
    AFC
    1. Broncos [12-4]
    2. Patriots [12-4]
    3. Bengals [12-4]
    4. Chiefs [11-5]
    5. Steelers [10-6]
    6. Jets [10-6]
    NFC
    1. Panthers [15-1]
    2. Cardinals [13-3]
    3. Vikings [11-5]
    4. Packers [10-6]
    5. Seahawks [10-6]
    6. Redskins [9-7]
    Steelers vs Chiefs would had been a better match-up. So, would had Jets-Bengals. Vikings could lose in the playoffs tomorrow because the Redskins got the No.4 seed because they won their Division.

      +Kevin Anderson
      I agree that Jets are really hot now and better than KC and HOU. But the fact is: they couldn't win their division (NE won 2 more games) and their record was worse than KC and PITT.
      It's like I would have won my fantasy playoffs ... IF my regular season record didn't suck and I actually made the playoffs.

    • @blacktech101
      @blacktech101 8 лет назад +1

      +Kevin Anderson I have felt the same way. But a division champion is the format of the league and it's been debated for years that records should dictate playoff participation. That said I'm sure you know that at the end of the day record doesn't matter as much as a game's matchup on that day, that hour, that minute, that second when a 18--0 winner can become 18-1 to loser to a 12-7 winner. And if you really are a playoff team do you lose on the "Final Sunday of the Season"? PeaceAntoniodeanSeattle over Pittsburgh by 7 in the Super Bowl 50.

      I'm late, but the Texans game doesn't mean much. What about the 7-9 Panthers beating the 11-5 Cardinals in the 2014 wildcard?

    • @bgpeters22
      @bgpeters22 7 лет назад

      clutchthepearls the cardinals were playing their third string qb in that game. They were done once they lost palmer.

    • @fcdl61
      @fcdl61 5 лет назад

      clutchthepearls I’m late to the party. A better example is when the 7-9 Seahawks beat the Saints. That Cardinals team lost Carson Palmer and were down to their third string QB. The same thing happen to Oakland a few years ago.
