Thank you LN, one, for best shirt pattern (i bought it as soon as it was released) and two, for 40 minutes of Karina's infectious enthusiasm for sewing beautiful clothes. The best way to start my day.
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful Arias along with their details and hacks you've done along the way.. I know I'll be referring back to your channel when I finally make my first.
Thank you for this wonderful video! I loved all of these on you and the creative changes you made using different fabric types and construction decisions. I just bought this pattern and it will be the first Love Notion pattern I’ve ever made. I’m soo inspired by you and very excited to try this pattern! Thank you again! I look forward to viewing more of your posts! Great job 👏👍😊
Love all your creations of the Aria shirt and wardrobe pieces. I'm inspired I bought this pattern but have no knowledge of buttons holes but I will search for a tutorial Thanks for sharing your creative expertise
You can do it! Search buttonholes on YT and you'll find tons of resources! I would suggest searching buttonholes plus your sewing machine name and get a specific view on how to do it on your machine.
I don't usually save videos, but I saved this one. I bought the pattern today for $5. I will go back and watch this again and make so many of these shirts! Thank you LN and Karina! Love it all!
Karina, these are fantastic Aria shirts! You are so creative and I enjoy learning your shortcuts and sewing tips for a great-looking garment. You often mention that you have extra fabric left over for another garment. How much do you buy of a fabric that you love?
Sold again, except I already bought the pattern :-) LN patterns are sew versatile. Thank you for showing us the limitless part. The patterns have made such a difference in my life. Love my wardrobe and feel great all the time. Great job Tami and Karina!
Carina gave an amazing demonstration of the potential of this pattern - I’ve had no hesitation in buying it straight away! Thank you Carina and Love Notions - my favourite pattern company !
Fabulous choices across the board for the Aria. And, of course Karina always shows different looks that our imaginations go wild with so many ideas. Thank you LN and Karina.
I ALWAYS jump to your videos, Karina, for pattern releases, to get great tips and excellent explanations to sew patterns easy and understand exactly what to do and how to do it. I am glad you are an Ambassador for LoveNotions and featured on today's Feature Friday. I bought the Aria at the new release with your affiliate link and discount and made several so far with success! I can count on your experience with the pattern to help me! Thank you for ALL of you videos! Congratulations on your Feature Friday at Love Notions and all your Aria makes!
Thank you Karina. All of them lovely makes! The first one's fabric is absolutely gorgeous and the wool suiting shacket is genius. It would be awesome if you could show us how you did the tulip cuff! And I didn't see your affiliate link?
Thank you! I have shown how to do the tulip cuff on my channel. The affiliate link is in the description box of this video.... but here it is again for you :) www.lovenotions.com/product/aria-button-down?affiliates=366
I don't think it will be any different from doing a swayback adjustment on any other shirt pattern. www.lovenotions.com/how-to-do-a-swayback-adjustment ~K
So excited to sew this! I have a sway back, and am a little worried that the box pleat in the back will mean a ton of fabric pooling at my lower back. Do you think I could take the pleat out? Also, great tip about adjusting the button to where your bust is!
There is a lot of ease at the hips, but removing the pleat would remove about 4” of that ease and I think it’s too much to just eliminate it. Maybe you can make the pleat with half of the volume.
My only (very minor) gripe with the pattern is about the fabric requirements chart. For example, there's only one amount of fabric given for the shirt - which I presume is the long sleeved collared shirt - but no indication of how much for the short sleeved or sleeveless shirt?

Love the Aria pattern - it’s my “go to” for a button down shirt. Karina - as always, all your versions are lovely and I’m inspired to make more!
So glad you are inspired! ~K
Love the shirt it fits well....my only pet peeve is the short sleeve that do not hang straight.......
Hmmm, have you check the grainline on your pattern/fabric? Glad you like the fit otherwise!
❤
How would you do a swayback adjustment with this shirt , with the back pleat? Thanks you
