It was super simple to upgrade and worked great. the only problem is you have to go into the bio's once to change the speed of the ram to the specified. There are video's about it too so it worked like a charm i def recommend.
You don't even know how much I appreciate you for making this! I went through so much turmoil trying to raise the speed through bios updates (had too factory reset once) and just when I lost hope, I saw this video. Thanks a million.
Thanks Dan! As of April 2022, HP has updated the BIOS (version F.22) which now allows you to install after-market RAM without having to use Ryman Master and do any overrides. I bought the G-Skill Ripjaws sticks that you recommended (used your link) and it was recognized automatically. I appreciate the recommendation; you gave me the confidence to do the upgrade.
No idea why their motherboards aren’t able to just overclock the RAM with a single click like other motherboards. Instead they have like 45 different settings adjustments and I see SO many people having trouble with it. Sorry to hear you will be computer-less for a bit but glad HP is taking care of it.
Dumb question I'm sure but this is literally my first PC just used laptops and other people's computers. Unfortunately I couldn't get the ryzen 7 with the 2070 got taken right out of my cart today. Got the ryzen 5 with the 1660. Is everything else the same like the motherboard, so the parts you use will also work on mine?
I LOVE YOU BRO. Ok so for context, I have recently acquired a gift card and I wanted to use it for a ram upgrade. Although I have never upgraded a pc so it was quite the daunting task and I had no clue what to pick for my system. BUT after I stumbled upon your video, I decided that you would be my best option and I will be buying the ram used in the video for my upgrade! THANK YOU so much for your kindness as this has made the process so much easier for me and a lot less stressful. I wish you the best and thank you so much for your recommendations and tutorial.
Thank you so much for all your videos on the HP Omen! Your tweaks have helped me immensely drop my idle and working temps without touching any hardware. Your videos are easy to follow for someone unfamiliar with the high-end PC world.
Thank you! I bought and installed another ram card in my Omen 30L and this brought the speed right back up to 3200 when it showed it was on 2400. I subbed.
Hey man thank you, you're still helping people in 2024. Just upgraded my Omen 30L from 16 to 32GB and it did the classic move from 3200MHz to 2400MHz. Tried updating my BIOS, still no options to do it from there despite the HP update to allow certain Omen models to overclock from BIOS. Followed these steps, computer runs at 3200MHz with the 32GB of RAM after full power cycles, don't have to "set it in Ryzen Master every time". Hell yeah brother
I'm really tempted to get the HP Omen 30L with the RTX 3070. You're one of the few channels I see that has done so much in depth Omen content, it's really helpful.
I pulled the trigger and bought it today. I already have a pc but I have been waiting for the 3070 for 3 months with no luck in getting one. Will be giving the Omen to my wife, but will upgrade the RAM like suggested in the video and give her my 1660 super. You video was really helpful-thank you.
Was going to build a PC but as you might expect sourcing a reasonably priced GPU was impossible so I had to go pre-built. Your videos have been really helpful in making my 25L just a bit more how I would have built mine. Excellent content. Thanks!
Thanks Melissa and I’m glad my videos helped you out! Yeah, the GPU ( and PC ) market is so bad right now, even with 1xxx and 2xxx series GPU’s, it’s really a shame.
I LOVE YOUUUU thanks!! I was so frustrated on this for hours trying to figure out why I couldn't change the speeds of my RAM in the bios menu and I finally found your video after hours of digging to find the right video and now I have subscribed to you!!
Thank. You. So. Freaking. Much. for all these videos dedicated to the Omen. As most viewers, I'm completely new to PC and your videos have helped me a lot. Love that they are also short and sweet, straight to the point and very informative.
Thank you for being so simple man. So many guys say so many other things it’s all so confusing but this is so simple and straight forward. You’re goated.
I'm so glad you made this video. Shortly after I got my Omen 30L, I added 32 GB Kingston Fury 3200Mhz (16GBx2). Originally, the memory clock speed was 3200MHz without me doing anything. For the first two months I had it, it remained at 3200MHz whenever I checked the performance tab in the Task Manager. However, I unintentionally went into UEFI, and it showed that my memory clock speed was 2400Mhz. I double checked the speed in Task Manager and it was showing as 2400MHz. I'm already using Ryzen Master to undervolt my CPU (thanks for that video as well), so I followed this tutorial and got my memory speed back to 3200MHz, and it's remained there. Again, huge thanks!
You’re welcome! Omen motherboards can be very finicky with RAM speeds and any aftermarket parts, but I am glad that this Ryzen Master work-around is still working.
I just bought an Omen 30L that included 16 GB of RAM. In anticipation of upgrading, I had already picked up 2 16 GB sticks of Corsair Vengeance Pro. I installed them and expected to have to adjust the settings in Ryzen Master, but I booted up, checked task manager and it's already running at 3200 MHz. Helpful video, anyway. I also picked up some additional fans and will be installing those soon.
Thanks Christopher!! That’s really strange! All other RAM I’ve seen has defaulted to a lower speed. That’s awesome that it worked! The fan should help with airflow a lot 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yo man, THANK YOU so much for posting this video. The care you put into looking at it from a beginner perspective instead of just spitting technical diarrhea is appreciated. I was paranoid I was going to screw something up. Very thorough and complete - subbed. Looking forward to more videos.
@@DanKamYouKnow Hey Dan, system still running great. Anyway, I was wondering if you would consider making a video about what might be some of the most feasable upgrades for this system's GPU? The case is small, and i'm wondering what my limitations might be with the 400 watt power supply. I see maybe a 2060 is possible, but that upgrade is just not worth it compared to my 1660 Super for marginal performance upgrade. Do you think a 3060TI could fit in there and work with the existing system? I didn't consider the PSU in regards to ugrades when I bought this.
@@longdongbongchong 400W PSU will definitely not be enough for most modern GPU's and I would definitely recommend recommend going with what the GPU manufacturer recommends for that card. As far as what will fit, the new GPU has to be less than 285mm in length to fit in an Omen case. 3060Ti should work fine if you find one that fits the length requirement, which most 2 fan cards do.
@@DanKamYouKnow Thanks so much Dan. Do you know about the height? Or a worthy PSU upgrade that would fit? I guess this didn't pan out the way I thought. My system is still good, i just thought I would be on easy street in regards to upgrades. I might as well just build a new, power system when prices come down even more and new product generations come out.
Great video! This worked perfectly for me. I upgraded my system from 8 GB to 32 GB Ram for the price I would have paid HP just to upgrade to 16 GB. You are the man DanKam! You Know.....
THIS IS AN AMAZING VIDEO OMFG!! I just found out that I can't use substance painter because of my pc specs, and after a little internet sleuthing, I found this video! I've never bought or installed RAM, but this gave me the confidence to place the order. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the advice about using Ryzen Master to be able to achieve 3200mhz RAM speed when upgrading memory while I'm still waiting on my Omen 25L with its Ryzen 5 3600 to arrive. I'm glad I watched your Omen videos to not waste $$ ordering more RAM directly from HP.
I really appreciate your careful instructions! This was my first time upgrading a PC without a family member's support and it went so smoothly thanks to this video. :)
Great video Dan. So this dirty secret of HP really infuriated me. I almost returned the PC in the first 30 days due to this. Thankfully our discord came through for me. Now I have two more 8gb sticks of HP ram. So I have four 8gb sticks of HP ram. I have four slots but am currently only running two 8gb sticks. I will add the other two 8gb sticks when I need to. My son doesn't need more than 16gb at the moment and theyre running at 3200 mhz. I found out the CPU can be upgraded. So I think i'm going to upgrade from 10700k to 10900k. We have this amazing PC place in town, been around for years and reputation is perfect. They will swap out the CPU for a price and have a warranty on service. My son wants the 10900k and I think the 10700k is more than enough. Kids! Lol. Your channel is already up to 1,220 subs! Damn! Congratulations Dan.
I remember all the frustration you went through with your Omen and the RAM. Glad a fellow Omen’nite was able to help you out. The channel is growing fast! So excited. Thank you for all your support my dude! Always very much appreciated
I searched for so long trying to find info on how to enable XMP with my Omen 25L, only to finally realize the BIOS had been locked out. THANK YOU! I don't know why more Redditors haven't linked to either your channel or the Ryzen Master solution. So easy.
A big big thank you. Your videos have been the only way I've kept my sanity dealing with, and allowing me to enjoy my Omen 30L. I followed this video a year ago when I added some additional memory to my HP, but somehow my ram speed dropped down to 2400. After a quick reviewing, it's back up to 3200.
Great video!! This was exactly what I was looking for. I searched the internet for hours, wasted my time calling HP support and tried many things including switching RAM sticks. You explained it very well and it solved my problem! looking forward to watching your other videos about overclocking. I liked and Subscribed.
Bought the omen 30L on cyber Monday and followed your advice on cooling. I also found another video on youtube where someone suggested downloading the B450 AMD chipset. I've been getting 42-44 celsius on idle which is much better than out of the box!
I can't tell you how much of a life saver you are sir. I know more about dirt than I do PC's so I deeply appreciate you dumbing it down for me. Just subscribed and looking forward to all the new info. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much, I have the exact same computer HP Omen 30L Tower (however with a British plug!) and couldn't get my new 32gb RAM upgrade to to work at the advertised frequency.
Thanks for this. I was worried about the RAM issue as my HP Omen that I just purchased came with 16GB and I was looking to expand that to 32GB. This is a relief that you've shown us that we don't have to buy memory from HP.
Thank you so much! This worked like a charm. I recently bought an HP V10 32GB RAM kit at 3200MHz, in order to upgrade my Pavilion TG01 which came with Samsung 2x8GB RAM. I thought that the V10 kit would be 100% compatible (you know, being from HP), but lo and behold, it got downclocked to 2133 MHz. I was afraid I'd have to settle for the factory default specs, but you just saved the day man!
bruhh, learning that a ram upgrade wont make much of a performance difference on my intel hp is infuriating. I bought this desktop with the sole intention of upgrading it later. but thanks so much for saving me some money!
Yeah, for being an “upgradeable” machine, not allowing XMP profiles / memory speed adjustments is pretty ridiculous. Especially when you install different RAM and it defaults down to 2133mhz from 3200mhz. Glad I could help dude! 👍🏻
If you plan to upgrade a ton, you could get a new mobo. I'm in the same boat. I bought the i5-10400f model with the intention to upgrade it and make it mine but when I popped in more ram, it went down to 2133mhz with no way of changing it. kinda pisses me off tbh
I spent hours in my bios trying to get my 3200mhz ram from 2133mhz with countless errors. Follows your video and fixed in less than 5 minutes. You earnt my like and my subscribe
@@DanKamYouKnow So, If I upgrade my motherboard that is compatible with my i7-10700F CPU, it will allow me to upgrade RAM and have access and overclock BIOS? Planning to do a case swap as well.

Dan, Great set of videos. I have the GT13-1094 ver of the Omen 30L w/ the Ryzen 7 5800x. I bought a 2, 16gb. Stick for 32gb RAM kit of HyperX FURY RAM. I followed your video on using Ryzen Master. Funny thing though. My system auto recognized the new RAM without having to adjust anything. Task Manager showed my system running at 3200 and my RAM at 31.8GB. What do you think HP did?
That’s awesome! I think they realized the frustration of users and the overall stupidity of making it mandatory to go with their extremely overpriced HyperX RAM, to achieve the max board memory speed. It seems like my videos may be getting noticed by them! Thanks for watching Jim 👍🏻
Hi Jim! I have a question for you! I just got myself a similar Omen 30L as yours, and I'm in the shopping process for the same RAM sticks that you bought, but there seems to be two types of HyperX FURY... one is 1Rx8 (which means single-rank) and the other is 2Rx8 (dual-rank)... was wondering which one you chose? The specs for my Omen don't mention anything about that specific RAM parameter... The only thing I know is that the pre-installed RAM in my Omen is a HyperX FURY "2Rx8" (it's written on the stick!)... So do you know which type you bought (1Rx8 or 2Rx8 RAM sticks)? Thanks!
@@spaceshipper2for71 Jim didn't reply but if you got those kits in, i'm curious to know if the CL timings are still 22 instead of the advertised cl 16 we are supposed to have. Did you have any luck changing them? It's the only reason i'm not upgrading ram because any new ram would just default to cl 22 regardless to my knowledge which would be a waste :(
Very informative video! There’s just one thing that I have to ask. Do I need to do anything in particular to get it to run in dual channel mode, or will it automatically be in dual channel?
Nice video, I’ve done just that before I found your video but it’s good to see there’s a clear tutorial for this. One thing I did on top of it is to extract the XMP *timings* from Thaiphoon Burned and applied them in Ryzen Master. Cheers
I am happy to have found your videos, I just purchased a 25L and it is shipping soon. I saw on a reddit post that the bios was locked and it led me to your video. Thanks for this because I was worried I made a mistake in purchasing this. Is 3200 the max speed for this? I want to get ram that has speeds of 3600. If not, I'll considering upgrading in in the future.
The highest I’ve seen an Omen board support is 3200mhz. I would find your Omen product number ( Example: GT12-0013 ) and you’ll be able to find the info for your motherboard. Thanks for the support! 😎
I just got mines, I've Been AMD since forever so im happy to hear that I can do the upgrade. As for HP Bios i notice that my new HP Laptop is missing "Legacy Support" option its gone, not there it all - anyone know away around this? Is there away to add that option, like a new Bios or something or is there some setting or hidden bios menu or anything that I can do to get the "Legacy support" back? Great video by the way 👍
Thanks! All HP motherboards I have seen so far are completely locked, other than running component diagnostics. You can try to do a BIOS update through HP Support Assistant and see if it pops up but I doubt it.
even with the recent BIOS update for HP OMEN. I feel like this video helped even better. For some reason on the HP BIOS i don't have an XMP profile and only just a custom profile. I wouldn't recommend playing with it unless you know what you're doing. This is still helpful with my recent HP OMEN upgrade. Thanks dude
Thank you for the comment! My Omen never received the BIOS update for my Omen, so I never got to experiment with it. I have tried to help a couple people figure it out and it’s WAY too complex. Should just be like normal motherboards where toggling XMP pushes the RAM to whatever it’s max is, automatically. Glad this still worked for you.
Holy shit I had upgraded my RAM like a month ago I had no idea they cap the speeds 😭 Thank you man. Can I close ryzen master or do I leave it running in the background?
No problem! I always leave Ryzen Master open ( I leave it as a startup application). But I don’t think you have to, the profile SHOULD stay even when off.
Thank you so much for your help, my new memory stick now works at 3200 Mhz as it should. Are the change permanent or do I have to run Ryzen Master every time I restart the PC?
Magic! Followed instructions exactly and got excellent results. Very happy, thank you! Now I need to figure out how to get my cpu temps down. So many people say their cpu idles in the 30s, 40s, 50s C. My Ryzen 7 3700x idles in the mid 60s - 70C. Browsing with multiple pages open, it sits at high 60s to 70C. Playing World of Warcraft, not an intensive game, it runs mid 70s - 81. I tried to install an H60x (H60 no longer available), but my mobo doesn't have pins/connections for the RGB fan or pump RGB, and no USB 2.0 for a controller. It no longer uses a SATA connection, like the H60. After 12 straight hours of searching the net, I gave up. I guess I'll try a tower cooler next.
@@SinglepieceofRice I thought of that after I ordered the H60x and may still do that, while I wait to figure out the best course of action. I just came across a simple SATA power to ARGB 3 pin connector, with remote control. 10 bucks is a lot cheaper than another 50-60 for a Corsair unit. I wanted to follow the way he did it exactly, but they removed the SATA wire when they went to the H60x. Now I understand why he used a SATA connection. It had me confused and I didn't want to give up that power connection, but it makes total sense. Thank you for the response, by the way. Made me do some thinking in a different direction.
I’m looking into the program now and unfortunately there isn’t much adjustability for Omen cases, but seems like there is a ton of adjustability for people with Omen laptops, keyboards, and mice; which I don’t have. I am going to keep going through it though and see if I can come up with a video
Well, if you bought more RAM, it would default to a lower speed and since you own an Intel Omen, you would not be able to manually raise it back up to the correct speed. You will get the benefit of having more RAM, but the speed will be slower, which might not make a huge difference. It depends on what you are going to do with the PC
@@DanKamYouKnow thnx for clarifying this because I thought you won't get more ram but if it's only the speed I can deal with that until I change my cpu to ryzen if it's possible
Thanks again! This worked great on my MSI DP20Z. I overclocked the ram while I was there because it was pitifully easy. I went from 8gb 2666mhz stock to 16GB CL16 3200 mhz clocked to 3800MHZ and I didn't even have to touch voltage, like I thought one had to do for really high clocks on ram. I think that's fantastic for basically $66 laptop ram/SODIMM. Here's what I used Crucial-Ballistix-Laptop-Gaming-BL2K16G32C16S4B. Now like any good monkey, I have to try it on every Ryzen I have!
Beautiful. Thanks for this. Just picked up an omen 30l with a Ryzen 5800x and a 3060ti with 16 gig of ram. Won’t need to upgrade ram soon, but this is great info.

@@DanKamYouKnow Yeah this saved me atleast $200, I wanted to replace my mobo to an Asus x570 just to get XMP profiles. The fact that they went you to spend extra $$$ on their HyperX ram that's pre overclocked on their website. You got the 25l, the 30l is the exact same issue. (Funny easter egg, 30L that's written on the glass, look at it backwards and it spells JOE.)

Happy to help!! Hopefully everything works out for and I appreciate your kind words
Thank you so much for all your videos on the HP Omen! Your tweaks have helped me immensely drop my idle and working temps without touching any hardware. Your videos are easy to follow for someone unfamiliar with the high-end PC world.
You’re welcome and happy to help David! PC’s can be pretty intimidating at first but are quite simple one you figure it out. Game on 👍🏻🤝
Thank you! I bought and installed another ram card in my Omen 30L and this brought the speed right back up to 3200 when it showed it was on 2400. I subbed.
Thanks Jonathan! I am glad it worked for you! These Omens can be super tricky.
You are a life saver man, I would have been lost without this video 🙏🏼
😎👍🏻👌🏻
A 3070 will be a BEAST graphics card. Really wish I could get one easily. I’m glad my videos have helped you!!!
You’re welcome Levon! I’ll be looking for a 3070 or 3080 around March, hope they can be easily found by then.
Just watched an entire 30 second antidepressant ad for you, boo! Great informative video as always. ❤️😊
Thanks babe! 😙😙😙
I LOVE YOUUUU thanks!! I was so frustrated on this for hours trying to figure out why I couldn't change the speeds of my RAM in the bios menu and I finally found your video after hours of digging to find the right video and now I have subscribed to you!!
Appreciate it my friend 👍🏻🤝
Thank. You. So. Freaking. Much. for all these videos dedicated to the Omen. As most viewers, I'm completely new to PC and your videos have helped me a lot. Love that they are also short and sweet, straight to the point and very informative.
Thanks Toni and I’m glad I could make learning about your PC easy!!
Thank you for being so simple man. So many guys say so many other things it’s all so confusing but this is so simple and straight forward. You’re goated.
Glad it was helpful for you and thank you!!
I just want to Thank you so much . I just got 32gb of ram for my 30L and it was set to like 2666mhz and watching this video made life so much easier.
You are welcome! It's a strange work-around but glad that it works, enjoy!!
@@DanKamYouKnow he might have gotten a new mobo? I’m getting alone hoping it fixes it.. can you please reply ?
I’m not sure what you’re asking?
@@DanKamYouKnow I’m asking if getting a new mother board fix this issue ?
@@DanKamYouKnow or do you know where hp has this locked ?
Yo man, THANK YOU so much for posting this video. The care you put into looking at it from a beginner perspective instead of just spitting technical diarrhea is appreciated. I was paranoid I was going to screw something up. Very thorough and complete - subbed. Looking forward to more videos.
That is awesome! So glad the video was helpful and thank you for the sub and kind words. I appreciate it.
Ayyyeeee! Glad it worked out for you! 😎😎😎
RUclips didn't show me this comment until now. Glad I could help you out!
I really appreciate your careful instructions! This was my first time upgrading a PC without a family member's support and it went so smoothly thanks to this video. :)
Happy to hear! This video is older and HP has tried to block a few workaround like this, it’s cool that it still works.
So easy.
Please stop. I just got my 25L and your videos are costing me everything that the Costco discount saved me.
LOL!
Hahaha welcome to PC gaming, friend
A big big thank you. Your videos have been the only way I've kept my sanity dealing with, and allowing me to enjoy my Omen 30L. I followed this video a year ago when I added some additional memory to my HP, but somehow my ram speed dropped down to 2400. After a quick reviewing, it's back up to 3200.
BRO YOURE A LIFESAVER AFTER 2 HOURS WITH HP THANK YOU SO MUCH

Great video!! This was exactly what I was looking for. I searched the internet for hours, wasted my time calling HP support and tried many things including switching RAM sticks. You explained it very well and it solved my problem! looking forward to watching your other videos about overclocking. I liked and Subscribed.
Thank you for the like and sub my friend 🤝
bro wtf i watched 2 hours of vids and didn't learn nothing and I watched 10 mins of yours and I am a pro. and my ram is at 3200 now.
YOOOOOOOOO!!!! Glad my videos helped you to come an expert. You the man Sajjad.
Good work!! The rear fan is a 92mm. I personally use Noctua but they aren’t RGB, but Corsair and CoolerMaster make good fans.
Nope, fans draw very minimal power. You are fine with that PSU
I’d be more worried about in game temps but I’m sure they are in the safe range, warm, but safe.
@@DanKamYouKnow yeah i did the same with 32gb ram and it gets warm wondering if a water cooler would work too cool down the temps
followed the steps exactly and now my pc is sitting pretty with 32 GB at 3200 MHz speed. you’re awesome!
Great to hear! Appreciate it 👌🏻👌🏻
Bought the omen 30L on cyber Monday and followed your advice on cooling. I also found another video on youtube where someone suggested downloading the B450 AMD chipset. I've been getting 42-44 celsius on idle which is much better than out of the box!
Yes! The chipset update will definitely help! Those temps look fantastic. Congrats on the new PC! 🎉🎉🎉

You’re welcome Daniel!
Thanks for this. I was worried about the RAM issue as my HP Omen that I just purchased came with 16GB and I was looking to expand that to 32GB. This is a relief that you've shown us that we don't have to buy memory from HP.
Did you do the upgrade? Do you have the intel version or the ryzen?
@@gaberocco1 haven't upgraded yet but I'll be doing that in the next month or so.
Happy to hear! Thanks for the comment and love the profile pic, love a good Strat.
bruhh, learning that a ram upgrade wont make much of a performance difference on my intel hp is infuriating.
Super hyped Dan- Just ordered a second 16gb stick of ram, 2 noctua fans and the U9S CPU cooler. Can't wait to upgrade my Omen

HP locking the notebook BIOS is expected, because all manufacturers lock laptop BIOS.
But HP locking desktop BIOS is just bad practice.
It really is a shame and switching out motherboards now seems like a better and better idea.

It's the only reason i'm not upgrading ram because any new ram would just default to cl 22 regardless to my knowledge which would be a waste :(
just bought a used pc from a friend, he was using 2400mhz on this pc, just upgraded it thanks to you, even 3 years later, saving lifes!
Very informative video! There’s just one thing that I have to ask. Do I need to do anything in particular to get it to run in dual channel mode, or will it automatically be in dual channel?
Thanks! No, you do not need to do anything, the computer will recognize both RAM that are installed 👍🏻
Awesome man. Thanks for all the help!
Nice video, I’ve done just that before I found your video but it’s good to see there’s a clear tutorial for this.
One thing I did on top of it is to extract the XMP *timings* from Thaiphoon Burned and applied them in Ryzen Master. Cheers
I’ll have to look into that, thanks.
So basically, you can only upgrade your RAM and keep the 3200 mHz speed if you have an AMD ryzen processor ? Great vid btw
Thanks! Correct. Some people say XTU works for Intel processors if you delete some files and use an old version but have no way to test it.
You can try to do a BIOS update through HP Support Assistant and see if it pops up but I doubt it.
this is the most helpful video i’ve found, thank you!! Exactly what i needed and I got mine done and working. :)
Nice Taylor and thank you!!!
Omg you saved my life tysm
even with the recent BIOS update for HP OMEN.
Great video, took me 10 minutes end to end. I will be following your guide on recasing soon!
Thank you! Let me know if you have questions 👌🏻
Thank you so much for your help, my new memory stick now works at 3200 Mhz as it should. Are the change permanent or do I have to run Ryzen Master every time I restart the PC?
Nice!!! Your memory profile in Ryzen Master should stay upon restart 😎👍🏻👍🏻
An easy thing that everyone forgets is to re apply thermal paste. Or get a fancy nzxt cpu cooler.
Hey Dan HP recently dropped this new program called Omen light studio. You think you can make a future video on how to use it? Thanks bro
I am going to look into it tomorrow on my day off!!! I’m excited to try it
@@DanKamYouKnow thanks Dan!
I’m looking into the program now and unfortunately there isn’t much adjustability for Omen cases, but seems like there is a ton of adjustability for people with Omen laptops, keyboards, and mice; which I don’t have. I am going to keep going through it though and see if I can come up with a video
Fantastic, helpful content at a great pace with no BS. Good stuff. I look forward to checking out the rest of your stuff.
Thanks David!!! Appreciate you saying that.
So if I buy more ram for my Intel edition 25l, will it make a difference at all?
Well, if you bought more RAM, it would default to a lower speed and since you own an Intel Omen, you would not be able to manually raise it back up to the correct speed. You will get the benefit of having more RAM, but the speed will be slower, which might not make a huge difference. It depends on what you are going to do with the PC
@@DanKamYouKnow thnx for clarifying this because I thought you won't get more ram but if it's only the speed I can deal with that until I change my cpu to ryzen if it's possible
You won’t be able to switch to an AMD CPU. I’d recommend just replacing the motherboard if you wanted to go that route.
Had no idea about the amd ryzen master tool. Thank you so much. Super big help, you are awesome
thank you man for finally fixing this prob for me love finally feel liked didnt get scammed cuz i bought new ram that wasnt even usable

you the man Dan. My ram benchmark went from 66.1% to 87% after i clocked it at 3200. Still upset It wouldn't run the ryzen 5 5600 for me.
Happy to hear Dave! Yeah, that’s a bummer for aure

@@DanKamYouKnow Thanks. I have an Alienware aurora r10 so I’m shocked it worked.
Oh interesting, didn’t think of it working on different pre-build manufacturers. That’s awesome
@@DanKamYouKnow it is
2 years later, I find this gem of an information and I am very thankful for your video.
Next step I have trouble with now is to detect my 2nd nvme ssd very hard to find good informations.
Glad to hear! What you have to do is right click the start menu -> Go to disk management -> initialize the disk if it asks you -> right click your new drive -> click new simple volume -> follow prompts -> good to go.
@@DanKamYouKnow thanks a lot. I found out yesterday after few hours.
Now looking at the options for cloning windows to nvme ssd.
All the free cloning software ask for cash.... no clue why they want us to pay for this when we can buy a key for 15$....
You got any tutorials for this?
Funny you mention that, currently making a cloning process and should be out in the next few days. The program you want to use is Macrium Reflect and it’s completely free.
@@DanKamYouKnow thanks a lot man. Totally appreciate.
Now you should probably get a partnership with hp so they could send their customers in need of help towards your Chanel.
You get the views you deserve, and they get rid of what they can't provide to their customers.
Since they only have a useless bot as customer service that gives broken links and Totally useless help.
I will try macrium.
Waiting your videos. I subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good job 👏
Thanks for the subscribe!! I have actually partnered with HP and a lot of my newer videos are products that they have sent me 🙂. Appreciate your kind words my friend!
