Taxiing the A380 reminds me of driving off road vehicles. You never want to get stuck - it is all about managing momentum to avoid the need for sudden, large application of power/brake.
@@A330Driver hey thanks for that, ive always had to go to settings and disable NVIDIA DLSS frame generation and turn it back on again. Do you know why this happens? Do you also use DLSS frame generation for way more fps? Thanks
I’m bad at taxi any aircraft in sim but don’t find this plane too bad oddly. Never considered the use of thrust on only inner engines due to overlap of outer engines on grass etc, suppose it’s mentality of mostly piloting smaller two engined aircraft the vast majority of time😅. I agree using little thrust on engines on outside of turn certainly helps in the sim. Don’t mention A380 nose wheel skids 😂
Even stepping up to bigger planes in real world GA is exactly like this - you try to prepare for predictable issues but you suddenly discover issues you just didn’t experience before. 👍
Keep in mind that you would need to modify your throttle bindings to achieve this if you have a dual throttle peripheral. Left throttle bound to 1 and 4 Right throttle bound to 2 and 3
@@jhallockwhen I said outer I meant engines on outside of turn ie both engines on same wing. You see large planes do this on backtracking turns at end on runway in real life although I’ve never seen A380 do a backtrack turn 😅

Interesting how he mentioned that it's unrealistic in this build, hopefully FBW can improve the turn drag situation 👍
Good tricks for staying on centerline and holding short of the runway. The sheer size of the A380 really distorts the pilot’s sight picture.
Absolutely!
Can you please tell me how you zoom into the taxi chart ? Thanks ! :)
Mine hardly steers . Have checked the tiller setting in efb, all correct
How do you do the trimming on the A380? thanks
Hey, at 00:40 your screen is lagging, I do encounter the same problem, you seem to press some key to fix it. Which ones ?
Go to windowed mode and back. Alt+Enter by default.
@@A330Driver Thank's a lot !!

The playlist is backwards
