In autumn 2013 Justin Hayward, the legendary lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for The Moody Blues embarked on a tour of the American East Coast following the release of his album "Spirits Of The Western Sky". It would mark only the second time in his long and illustrious career that he would tour as a solo artist. The shows combined tracks from the "Spirits" album alongside a mix of classic and rarely heard Moody Blues songs and Justin's worldwide hit "Forever Autumn". The final night of the tour at Atlanta's landmark Buckhead Theatre was filmed for this release.

His voice and performance are amazing,he sounds like he did fifty years ago.
My brother introduced me to the Moody Blues in 1969 the night before he was to go into training for the Viet Nam war. I am grateful because their music changed my life.
The man is a living legend. May he be forever young.
I am straight. That being said, I could listen to Justin sing all day. There is a calming quality in his voice and songs.

What does your declaration of being "straight" have to do with enjoying Justin's voice, "that is a calming quality" as you say, and is so true. I found the Moody Blues encouraged me on my journey as a young man, they offered me spiritual/emotional solace, as I was coming out of a difficult, home situation in my late teens. Now at 72 years old, I'm so glad they won my heart.
Justin's music is about Love, Hope and Community. What the world has always needed. LOVE. PEACE. God Bless

That's what I call music, that's what I call singing, that's what I call a song, that's what I call a singer whose every sung word is clear and well articulated. Furthermore, he's an excellent guitarist! Also, the balance between the instruments and the voice is excellent, the voice is placed in front of the instruments and not drowned-out by them. A real treat! :)

You just can't compare him to any one. He is just the best. Some day when this world is over and we all are on our next journey in our next life. I hope and pray that Justin will be there sharing his music to the other side of life. And we all see the New Horizons .that will be there watching and waiting for all of us to enjoy are care free life of internal joy God has planed for us.
There is no one single best - there is a collection of the best, and Justin is one of them. :)
He carries a lot of emotion in his voice too, it’s never a flat performance.

Purchased the DVD and Live CD after seeing and hearing Justin Hayward perform tonight at City Winery Chicago. To share this experience with my 15 year-old son, witnessing a Classic Rock Legend perform live was a most wonderful experience.

Fantastic voice to this day. WOW! Love this song!!!! Brought me to tears. Reminded me of my high school sweetheart and how life was then and this just seems to relate to then and now. That boy/man is gone but I'll see him some day.
I saw this tour in eastern Pennsylvania. It's incredible how good this guy still is live. He did one hell of a rendition of "Forever Autumn". Every other song was spot on also.

This has interesting lyrics. For the life of me, I don't know if the Moody Blues or more notably Justin is genuine or just a savvy business man. It is hard to trust, but I will put my trust in the former. I wonder if he has lived these lyrics? If so, it must be quite a story, if not, he has conveyed the emotions accurately.
