We will be eternally grateful that our Heavenly Father gave us such a wonderful artist as Justin Hayward.
I agree 💯
Amen !!
Amen
Fun fact: On the original recording, Ray Thomas' flute part is doubled by Mike Pinder playing the mellotron in flute mode, giving it all a fuller sound.
I only have one word to describe this -unparalleled!
Another of the greatest artists of our time!! The voice and guitar greatness!!
Justin Hayward has to be my first and only favorite singer. Justin’s voice goes well with this song it’s Incredible.
LOVE THIS GROUP , FRO GUADALAJARA. MEX. ,I REMEMBER IN PTO. VALLARTA. 🎉❤ 🍾🍷🍺
So haunting and powerful with Justin & the musical arrangement here! The drumming is so on time indeed! Love you, Justin!
Is that Gordy Marshall on drums?
@@iwanttobelieve9086 I am not sure actually?
@@johnbeckham1483 sure looks like him
Longevity and long lasting lyrics always make his music special and timeless…always enjoyed this song, for the Actor is all of us!
50 years of this wonderful musician. Thank you
Justin sang this song beautifully. I love this version the best to which I have ever seen and heard. His songs are timeless. I would rather listen to the Moodies and Justin than any other singer now or in the past. He sings this song with true love and devotion. I get so emotional hearing him sing "Oh Darling, you are a part of me" and "you're all I ever see." He had me at the "Oh Darling" many years ago. Of course his voice was lower then. He is such a romantic person and would have to be. I think this song comes from the struggles of two people in love but are separated due to the entertainment business. It must be hard. I could never do it. I miss my husband when he is on another piece of land farming/harvesting the crops. This song brings those emotions to the front and I miss him more. The words are so powerful. I am ever grateful for the kindness of Justin for uploading past performances on RUclips. I have many favorites from other people uploading old concerts. But Justin's picks are special, because I have never seen these before. We all so enjoy his performances. He is a great singer, songwriter, & guitar player, but most of all, he is a humble person who cares for his devoted fans. I hope he keeps these videos up for us to return to when we need an appearance of Justin for a bit in our lives.
Have always loved the story of this song. “…an actor’s life for me!….”
🕊
The sound I have heard in your hello and the follow up gets me every time I hear it and especially in this concert 💙

We were there, and Justin Hayward held the room in the palm of his hand.
I believe that
Perfect. Wonderful band behind him, excellent
... Yes, Violet dreams. This Coach House performance was really something extraordinary. I've been playing it over and over, this past week, especially this rendition of The Actor, it was Justin, singing exquisitely at a peak moment, and I'm so glad that it was recorded property ...
As someone who is studying acting, this is one of my personal favorites. ❤️🎵
One of my absolute favorites ❤❤❤
Thank You... ( through the tears and so many years.. of memories associated with this song and special love intertwined in those thoughts and memories of love)

ALMOST LUIZ...........
ALMOST.....🙏😇💖
Goosebumps every time
One of my favorite song.
lovely and romantic . No one does it better.💖💖💖
Mine too ,I love his voice, going to see him in London on Friday for the first time,I can't wait ❤
... Hmm, for me, this particular live captured rendition of The Actor shows Justins' voice in his full flight best.
My favourite Moodies album is EGBDF and I was peaking on a purple micro dot the first time I heard it. Played it 4 times in a row and it just kept sounding better than it previously did, which, consequently, compelled me to have to go out and buy it ...
THE SOUND THAT I HEARD IN YOUR HELLO. Awesome words.
Oh my goodness, fantastic. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Amazing song and brilliantly performed

Its such a rainy afternoon
Excellent song
Still incredible.
This is another all-time favorite, so glad to hear it here :-) I have always loved Moodies music, but have only begun to really study what youtube has to offer about the band. In an interesting convergence I happened to be reading the Higher & Higher "fanzine" issues and was on #38 which has an article about the SJC concerts and then #39 which has a review of the Video and CD of this as Justin began posting these performances. So far they have been posted in order of the concert set list, except that "Children of Paradise" is listed as following "Blue Guitar" and it hasn't dropped on the Flashback Friday presentations yet. For those of you that joined the in-depth interest in all things Moody only recently --- like me --- I highly recommend reading the archived issues of H & H. I especially like the retrospectives on the making of the individual albums done from interviews of people involved with their production. Thanks for sharing these for those of us that couldn't be there at the time.
Beautiful song 🎵 ❤️
Thank you. 💜🌈☮🏜💗
So beautiful! 🥲
This group did songs that took me places no other music has ! Mostly in relation to my Sojourn !
👋☮️💗
Friggin good the sounds just drift across my room
I have always LOVED this song, the sound is exceptional in this version, has it been remixed?
Nicely choreographed. Beautiful music. 💗🕉
Thanks for sharing. ❤
Brill justin
Bravo!
So very lovely, thank you!
In search if the lost chord great album
0:59 Put Out Your Problems With The Cat! 4:27 a nice, bass sounding melodic ending by Justin & the band!
🎶💙🎶
👍👍😊😊😇😇
💙💜💙
Was this at the Coach House ?
I had second chair from stage at Dave Mason at the Coach House.
Stop flicking those eyes Justin your driving me crazy
where is the orginal band members?
Justin Hayward is flawless but the drums are too harsh.
Great song but bad mixing. The drum is way too loud, the guitar and bass should stand out more.
