Goku vs Superman is a debate that is as old as the internet, so I thought I'd talk about a specific matchup of Dragon Ball Evolution Goku vs Live Action Superman from the Snyderverse.

As a note, it's generally not good practice to refer to kinetic energy for this type of thing, since kinetic energy is generally about projectile-like motion. A tectonic plate weighing 30 million tons moving at 5 cm/year has almost no kinetic energy: (1/2)(30,000,000,000kg)(~1.5*10^-9m/s)^2 = 3.4*10^-8 J. So light speed in the DCEU would just be faster than irl light speed. And it doesn’t discount the feats that are light speed as Superman could perception blitz and see WW as frozen a character who could dodge lasers point blank in bvs against doomsday, and Superman was able to press flash and in the 2017 cut he’s arguably as fast as him and Superman while weakened in man of steel was faster than a singularity which was said to work like a black hole (you need to be ftl to escape a black hole ) and Superman while weakened than a base he currently upscales by a massive degree was able to do it, overall I agree with the winner and he is the weakest Superman Live action speaking for sure but he’s not an mcu iron man or tobey Spider-Man victim
I also think it’s worth mentioning in MOS he destroyed the world engine which was going to terraform earth and in the novelization was shaking the planet. 2 planet feats and 1 planet statement from Batman is pretty good for 3 movies, I’d say.
Edit: You can probably get him above planet level due to how easily he pulled off the motherbox and (arguably) world engine feat

W video, I believe you downplayed Superman tho. Supes nagged Steppenwolf, who fought the OG Doomsday that tore a moon in half. He also tore the Mother Box in half which can terraform the earth and you have to be stronger than a planet to withstand it (Implying Superman is.) So DCEU Superman should be Moon level ~ possibly Planetary

You might be downplaying Clark a little bit though, considering the mother boxes are stated to reshape worlds, with Clark being stated & shown above them. As well as having a variety of those other vague "stronger than a planet" esc statements, littered throughout the first few DCEU outings. Also apparently @Goji-C is here with the same take? So probably worth looking into if we ever get a DCEU vs Saiyans follow up to the Avengers Vs Saiyans vid.

Eh DCEU does have moon to planetary statements and arguments as well as SoL or FTL stuff. I originally was going to go more indepth with this, but Goji-Chronic seems to already have made a pretty long thing going over this lol. On the topic of LA Goku, not sure who he would scale to the shock waves, maybe I missed something though.

DCEU Superman does have Moon to Planetary feats via being way stronger then Steppenwolf who shattered a moon while fighting Original Doomsday. He helped split the unity which is Multi-Continental to Planetary. Zeus can preform a similar feat, which would put him relative to the Shazamily and it's implied Superman can take Black Adam. His heat vision can cut through the metal from the Kryptonian Scout Ship which can withstand temperatures of 3.5 million Kelvin. That's hotter then a neutron star.

Do we know how durable the world engine is and whether all parts are equal? DCEU Superman certainly got taken out by attacks way weaker than country level on many different occasions.
As for speed, Superman shouldn't be much faster than Mach 1. _Maybe_ Mach 2 at most. His travel feats of when he crosses countries only happen when he's high up in the atmosphere, where there is little air-resistance. He only ever pulls off hypersonic - massively hypersonic/relativistic flight very high up. In the atmosphere, he goes at subsonic/slightly supersonic speeds at absolute best. Consider "Batman v Superman" for instance. In the movie, Superman got tagged by a Minuteman missile. Despite his efforts to evade it and his substantial head start of over a minute, the missile manages to tag him.

Currently Superman is canonically a composite character, every mainline version is canon. That’s the one Death Battle used so they didn’t use unfairly comp Superman

The Oozaru form is normally a 10x multiplier of a Saiyan's base form.

As someone who into Dragon Ball like that, I felt disgusted when I say Evolution Goku.
Saying that even this Superman is only country level is Madness😂
He means in raw strength. As he stated before the movies haven't showcased his full strength and even the strength he does portray doesn't make him beyond country level. Like smallville Clark was able to push a *planet* which is strength he never portrayed before in the show, even then that feat makes him way above country level. Unless Movie supes has a feat that shows him out doing the country level scale then you should complain otherwise he is what he is.

@@23dayslater95 Well it's the movies fault for not showcasing how strong movie Superman is. Just know that Even Darkseid's avatar couldn't destroy Earth with Raw strength either.
It's mostly because they don't think of power scaling when making these movies. Back to the smallville show prior to the finale Clark didn't showcase any strength beyond city level, but managed to push a planet. So you gotta blame DC for cutting movie Superman's runtime. He could be planetary, but without proof of him actually doing it it's just speculation.

Seriously, I dislike the movie, but I dont hate it, cuz I like the idea of having our DB heroes in live action and as an Alternative Universe.
And yes, this Goku is very stronger and stronger than all the classic DB cast, I think he have some Speed Feats in it's PSP Game.
Goku does know martial arts while Superman does not.
That is a big advantage for Goku. While Superman is faster Goku should be able to predict Superman's moves.

We haven't seen them move at the speed of light on their own, with their own body, therefore they're not lightspeed.
