    Had this the other day it’s sooooo yum.
    Also can you please make a collection of healthy egg recipes??? I’m so tired of seeing boiled eggs and sandwiches etc.

    This is so helpful 👍🏻
    I tried making chilla a few times using besan from an Indian grocery store but I never like the way they turned out.
    I think it might have been because I didn’t know that I should mix the batter in a blender. It looks like the batter is much fluffier than just whisking the flour and water.
    I’m going to an Indian grocery store tomorrow with one of my neighbors who is from India so I’ll buy some besan and give your method a try 😄

    Now, this is one of the recipes I'll keep to surprise my family or potentially guests with aversion to gluten. I've always liked savory pancakes, and I bet this one taste as great as it looks! Will give a try once I'll get my hands on chickpea flour!

      Make sure you try them before you surprise them It takes atleast one try and three burnt pancakes to get the art right 😁😁

      Thank you. Most of the foods on our channe l that I have made are vegetarian with the exception of a two or three recipes, where I have used eggs. Personally I am not a vegetarian but my non vegetarian food is limited to few times a year.

    Is your cast iron skillet from India or is it lodge. I want some information as my pancakes didn’t taste very good

    • @HappyBellyfish
      @HappyBellyfish  Год назад +1

      Hey Aparna , This Cast iron pan and infact all my cast iron utensils are from India. Some I buy from the local market and this particular pan and the Wok( Kadhai ) I had purchased from Indusvalley ( an online shop ) . Cast iron pan won't make the pan cakes or dosa taste good but if you could let me know what it is that didn't work for you , I can try and help

    • @aparnaroy8814
      @aparnaroy8814 Год назад

      @@HappyBellyfish Okk I can buy from Indus Valley. Actually I also bought from a fair ( it is probably the oldest fair in the world going on Since the 13 th century) near my house but later on discovered it was not cast iron but sheet iron . Actually my bad I didn’t follow your recipe exactly . I did the grinding part and my mother took over the frying on tawa part so kind of did her own thing. Pancake was little thick . Also I was too hungry to make a filling and didn’t even have any chutney/sauce . So kind of bland . But I do want to follow your recipes and so want to invest in cookware. Lodge is the dream but only if I can get it from USA. Even if it is packed for India things are not the same . Thank you Srikant for all your help and your delightful videos. In gratitude 🙏🙏
