The “ope, sorry” compilation and MO breaking made my day. Well this entire thing made me insanely happy
I'm so Glad Ben knows about gooey lemon butter cake.
Same
Texas saying butter my buns and call me a biscuit and Utah saying you can’t fix this by dipping it in fry sauce is hilarious as well
Haven’t watched the vid yet but as someone from MN if it isn’t “ope, sorry” then I will be thoroughly disappointed.
Didn't even know I said Ope as much as I do until I saw it as a Meme...
it makes me laugh because I'm Canadian, and yeahhh... oops, sorry (closes the door 95% then tells you whatever we needed to thru the crack.)
I can confirm that the Alabama one is completely accurate.
Roll tide roll
Louie giving the beads was a nice touch
The "Ope, sorry" segment just felt right, it's either that, or, "oh shit," then holler. "sorry," through the door
Been to Sauvie, great beach! ☀️😉
Yeah, you nailed NY. Again.
"Caaaaaake
Cake
Cake
Cake
Cake"
Yeah thats about my reaction too lol
Forgot GA in here but funny video
As someone who lives in the Midwest, that is very accurate. I’m mostly just wondering where you get the inspiration for the jokes
One imagine how long that would have taken to film
Two thanks for finally starting to add Kansas he is not featured enough speaking as a proud Kansan
As an Alabamian, yes, roll tide 😂
the fact that indiana was left out of the midwest compilation 😂
... I'm pretty sure Mass would swear or ask if you need help with sunscreen on, and a mainer might say "I saw nothing" and just walk out. NH person might swear or crack a joke. This was funny.
So theres a few states left, part 2?
No Massachusetts? I guess we’re pretty neutral!
Did they walk in on gov? Lol
1:20 I need south Dakota's shirt.
Is Indiana the new Bielefeld?
I thought that was Wyoming!
I love how Indiana just wasn't present. Honestly as it should be.
Yesss Ak lmao quite so
New Jersey you forgot
No Idaho
Sad
Washington is apart of the op sorry cast
i love Utah's so much oh my gosh
What I'm hearing is the states need to learn to knock
As a Californian accurate… in most places…
Were is Tennessee?
Yo where was SC ....
Wait wheres PA
1. The line of "Ope" states was hilarious and perfect.
2. This clip is just one more reason Louie is my favorite...
3. ...But New York is coming up in the ranks. He's funnier every [speaks New York] time.
4. Cali asking for pronouns absolutely sent me.
5. They're Ben. Every single state. They're all Ben. I honestly forget sometimes. Well done on every level!
I have a feeling Ben might've been a theatre kid. A comedian who ends up being a (relatively) famous youtuber? Yeah. He's a theatre kid.
That's what makes this cool. It's so easy to forget it's all the same person.
NY is easily my fave. Just no [speaks New York]s given.
They're all pretty accurate as far as I can tell. And you're right. Sometimes you forget they're all just him, because he's just THAT GOOD
Yes. Indeed. But then again - Ben looks like the prototype American. If he said, he's American everyone would believe it.
But also he looks like he honestly could come from every single state. He wouldn't feel out of place anywhere...
Love how Texas was so embarrassed and surprised Austin didn't pop out when he pulled his hat down to cover his eyes. Great skit for a good laugh, thanks for brightening up a rainy day.
I think Austin knew what was going on and didn’t want to come out
000
I thought the same, lol.
I can relate to Austin
The hat flew off so fast Austin didn't have time to realize what the hell just happened
As a Marylander, I can confirm that we might have old bay in ours socks, but I’m mostly offended that Maryland didn’t throw them a full set of clothes with the flag on them
oh geez, i used to be OBSESSED with the Maryland flag just based on how awful it looked. i would 100% buy those clothes.
Accurate lol. "Put some clothes on, hun" then throw md gear at them
@@definitelyreal. Okay, strange way to spell amazing, but I get ya. Also yeah, I've been in TX now for a decade have have several times gone on rants about the MD flag to friends here
I’m also a Marylander and I completely agree
Icon checks out.
Midwesterners polite and straightforward. We are sorry and let's get out of this situation immediately.
We just better my fellow Midwestern
Yup.
indeed fellow midwesterners
however they forgot indiana in this whole thing

Texan here,
I love how you put a "fixin' to" in there.
And if 28 different states and my home state were walking in on me changing, either I was changing for a WHILE, or there was a line of states waiting to see if they could embarrass me or something.
69 lad
OH! HI! Another Texan!
This sketch has the most characters of any Table sketch to date- 29!
But what about the statehouse thing
@@KingKajiit Statehouse is its own entity, but I think I have a count for those- please hold.
@@KingKajiit Okay- Statehouse Halloween had 21 individual characters. Voting special had 23.
No Colorado :(
No New Jersey :(
As someone from North Carolina “what in the Wright brothers” made me laugh WAY harder than it should have lol
I am from North Carolina to and the barbecue is accurate.
The Weight Brothers are Ohioans!
@@lordeverett5642 and? You know damn well NC called dibs.
They’re from Ohio! You can claim the first flight, but the Wright Brothers? That’s like Florida trying to claim some of our Astronauts.
Person from North Carolina here
I agree and I was wondering if he was going to say bless your heart
I wanted to protest that Missouri wasn't included in the "Ope, Sorry" string .... but the gooey butter cake and Drink Mo Beer shirt totally redeemed it. Well done sir !!!
Yep, we’d say Oh! Sorry!
same lol
As a former Midwesterner and current Texan, I can verify the accuracy of this. I still say, "Ope," even after being away from Illinois for 8 years.
Dude I've never lived in the Midwest and even I say ope
Ope let me sneak right by ya bud
I expected Texas to tip his hat and say something like "Sorry ma'a'm. or sir. but just those two"
@@PrincessNinja007 pretty accurate yeah (that Texas would say it, not that he'd be right. ya know)
As a Midwesterner now living in Florida for almost 10 years, I still say "ope, sorry!" all the time! 🤣😂
These were hysterical. California asking about pronouns had me ROLLING.
I feel the correct response in that case would be f*ck/off, just my two cents
New York not even noticing as he goes for the bat is par for the course.
As someone raised in New York, I can say it's accurate. NY had other crap to do, that happened to involve a bat... we all know what it was.... Beating the crap out of... a baseball! Yeah, that's it a baseball. I didn't see nuthin.
as a new yorker, I can tell you NY notice but the attitude here is to mind your own business.
NYC is one of the strangest places I've ever been to
@@JayJayM57 ...very true.
It's not that it wasn't noticed, it's that it wasn't any of his business. 😉
So did the states learn to knock today?😂 Also love how some of the states said the person changing was in the wrong for them walking in lmao
I don't think Washington showed up probably to busy getting high and drinking coffee lol
You’d think Utah would knock at least. Sheesh. Making them pray was great tho.
That's why Colorado, Georgia etc. didn't show up, they knocked, it made for a bad video
@@fishnet420 As a Seattleite, mentioning Denny Blaine Park would have been highly specific and highly hilarious.
Kentucky apparently did
Missouri has my respect. Cake is good for the soul in many ways. 🍰
Oh my god, California talking up a storm and trying to play 20 questions was hilarious. Also you were spot on for MD, VA,& WV.
MD is just insane when it comes to crabs, Old Bay, and their flag. I saw an Old Bay bumper sticker on someone's car.
@@noname8354 old bay is delicious, there are worse things to be invested in.
@@JacquelineUnderwood I never said that it's bad, just that their obsession with it is insane. Still not as bad as the state flag. I've seen it EVERYWHERE, from bumper stickers to clothing
CA- We talk when embarrassed...inteligently not so much
@@noname8354 As a Marylander, I can confirm that. For some reason we like the Maryland flag better than the American flag.
As a native Oklahoman the "where do you think we live Texas?" Had me rolling🤣🤣🤣
Should have had GOV walk in: "it's ok, I've already seen everything"
Aight
In a truly staggering twist, New York is the only state with manners. Honorable mentions go to the entire midwest, whose reactions are also acceptable.

Because Hoosiers knock
@BaltimoreAreaTech Missouri arguably Kentucky no. Kentucky is definitely a southern state
@@theoldrae and when someone responds from the other side THEN they say "ope, sorry"
At least in Da Region (the NW corner of the state), we say 'oops'. When we're not speaking Spanish or Polish, that is.
Didn't even have one for Arkansas 😅
I loved Missouri's, Utah's, and Rhode Island. By living in Utah it made that part very funny. There are only two sides in Utah no in-between, religious or not religious. Also for Rhode Island it definitely would not have been as funny without watching your other videos to understand the jokes. Missouri's was SO funny it makes me crack up every time I rewatch this video which is a lot. Very well done!!!
Fry sauce lovers and heretics
I love how the East and a west Coast states just keep it moving and the rest were varying stages of shocked.
Who do you think we are Texas? 🤣🤣🤣 I died!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
All of the Midwest: “ope, sorry.”
Missouri: “cake-cake-cake” *cannot compute*
I loved Missouri's so much
Gotta admit it’s relatively accurate.
Missouri moment
I mean, with how the capital is I'm not surprised
"cake cake cake cake ca-" *missouri.exe has crashed*
That's the funniest instance of "Roll tide" I've heard
Georgia would’ve probably said “Who you think we are Florida? In the most hypocritical way possible”
Yeah, as a Georgian, I have to say that's true.
True
That or, “ Gosh Darn I was going to harvest peaches not see your peaches! “
@@marstheknife7396 As funny as that sounds oddly enough for being the peach state we don’t really have an obsession with peaches like the stereotype says. It's funny cause I say ope sorry too 😂
All midwesterners say ope sorry. The crazy thing is nobody around me taught me it. I don’t think I even HEARD it. I just started saying it

Would love to see Washington's response even though it might be close to Oregons response
1. I love how none of the states knock. That's America.
2. Apparently I am a Californian who picked up her manners from her Midwestern grandmother, because my actual response when that's happened has always been, "Ope, sorry."
If you don't want anybody in you lock the door.
I think you broke Missouri. Florida and Louisiana really cracked me up.
and New York isn't even phased.
@@blackdemonknight and I loved that
As a Kansan/Oklahoman every time this has happened its just been "Op" and close the door no "sorry" because that would acknowledge that it happened, which it most definitely did not
You are correct, the "sorry" would be acknowledgment and we can't have that. I think that would be true for a fair chunk of the Midwest.
That's a good way of putting it. Adding sorry is more for when you run into someone/realize you're getting in their way.
As an Oregonian, I broke at the last bit.
Now do how the states react to being walked in on.
Good idea!
NY: "Next time, learn how to [speaks New York] knock!"

California's overly-PC, unnecessarily long reaction has me D Y I N G over here.
We need the rest of the states!!!!! 😂
Sad that Indiana got left out of the Midwest Ope Train, but happy to see the new Video! I can say though after being in band my own reaction is much closer to New York's.
Utahn here. I’m not sure how a guy would react… but the typical girl reaction in my experience is “OH MY GOSH, I’M SO SORRY!!!” with a quick exit , continuing apologies through the closed door, and profuse blushing by both parties 😳
Ben’s Utah is clearly either conflicted or mentally ill, combining a red U of U shirt with a cougar-blue BYU hat. Gasp! The horror! You’re going to start a riot! 😂 My kind of person, actually… I had a red “Brigham Young University - Idaho” sweatshirt (BYU-Idaho doesn’t participate in college sports so they had tons of color options for apparel in the bookstore). That awesome sweatshirt caused so much confusion and controversy when I moved back to Utah and wore it during rivalry week. Chaos knows no sides 😉
Like seriously tho, the rivalry between BYU and Utah is so bad, but its hilarious to watch
Also Utahn, I completely agree with everything you have said in this comment
From my experience a male Utahn will say ope *nervous chuckle* and proceed to leave as quickly as possible and act as though it never happened to begin with
*might not include the chuckle that part is hit or miss*
As a Utahan very accurate in some cases but also we just turn around and close the door THEN after they're dressed we have a talk XD
ROTFLMAO! Very true! I had a roommate (one of 4) who was from Utah walked in on me in my room without knocking. Who then after I came out of my room dressed. Tried to have 'the talk' in which they then berated *me* for. Being naked in *my* own room & asked me to apologise for it.
I quickly shut their BS ass down reminding them. How it was they who walked in on me in my room without knocking. & if anyone should apologise it was them. & how if I wanted to I could raise a complaint with the.
Other roommates about them being a pervert. & get them evicted for what they'd done. They quickly backed down. & from that point knocked on shut doors till they moved out.
Alternatively for California:
“So that’s what a natural body looks like. Anyway, let me get my hat.”
The "Ope--sorry"s had me crying. 😂😂😂
Though if the states walked in on me naked I'm pretty sure the responses would be more favorable. 😎
As someone from California, honestly anytime someone has walked in on me it's been, "oops, my bad!" *slams door closed immediately. Maybe we're all secretly midwesterners or something, haha
Washington wasn't in the house I guess. He must've been out getting coffee.
Came in to the comments to make sure I didn't just miss Washington. Makes sense tho. Us Washingtonians love our coffee lol
@@balinlesavage Yeah, and no WAY is anyone coming along. Our orders are between the barista and ourselves.
I'm a weird mix of Texas and Washington tbh. First 14 years in Texas and 9 in Washington have created a very curious combination in me.
As a new yorker, I can say I have walked into several rooms with people butt naked and carried on with what I was doing. I don't care if all you have on is a watch, I need my dollar general crocs and a pen that writes, move it.
Utah broke a cardinal rule. Never wear U of U merch with BYU merch. That Utah shirt is U of U merch. The two schools are rivals and every year play a football game that is referred to as “The Holy War.”
Still not as heinous as disliking fry sause
I can't help but wonder if "Ope" is contagious. I've lived in Canada my whole life and haven't visited Minnesota for about a decade but I still frequently use "Ope" thanks to the influence of my extended family in that state.
Can confirm. It's contageous.
As a former Midwesterner... That entire ope sorry bit was accurate as hell.
