For anyone thinking that they live safely away from a US border, I would like to point out that all international airports are considered us borders as well.
Minnesota being a border somehow isn't the same...
The entire state of FL
I live in Canada, I don't have this problem.
The vast majority of the population of the US lives within 100 miles of a border.
It includes the actual land borders with Mexico and Canada, the coastlines of the Pacific, Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean Sea (depending on how one defines the borders of the Caribbean Sea), the coastlines of the Great Lakes (including Lake Michigan, which is wholly surrounded by the US), and potentially international airports. And those airports don’t have to actually be used to fly internationally currently, as long as it’s designated an “International Airport”.
So, if you live within 100 miles of any of those features, you’re included.
If you don’t include airports as borders, the Top 6 most populous cities in the country are included in this 100 mile range.
In a list of the Top 10 most populous cities, only 2 aren’t included: San Antonio and Dallas, Texas.
If we *are* including airports then obviously they’re all within 100 miles of a border.
Why is it that we, US, cries so much about the border… specially the southern border (because we do have at least two others), but other countries who are bordered on all sides don’t feel it’s an issue, when the US:
1. Has very stringent boarder/immigration laws/enforcement
2. Was founded on the principle of immigration (and kill off all the native ppl, then take history and make it all seem justifiable)
3. Instead of punishing/penalizing the coronations who knowingly hire illegal immigrants, we just keep blaming the immigrant and putting more laws in place against immigration ?

This isn't new it been around since 9/11. A challenge to this just finally made it to the SCOTUS. By the way the does cover nearly 100% of the state of Florida but strangely I haven't seen any "boarder crossings" in Florida like there are in Arizona, New Mexico or Texas.
It's not like they can search out-of the blue, they still need reasonable suspicion or probable cause

Idahoan here, the fact there is a pride event is such a huge step. My aunt was charged with and spent 6 months in prison in idaho for "crimes against nature" when I was in elementary school for being gay and not apologizing for it. So the fact they have events is monumental.
Crimes against nature um okay man I live in a weird country and I thought alaska laws were worse. Man dude just let people do what they want to do in there home this includes property u wanna run buck naked on your land then damnit go buck naked and run freely. Lol

Texan here, I remember looking up “Florida man” and searching by news since that’s a thing I do now, I learned about that absolutely Florida Man thing like an hour after the news got hold of it

Don't forget, the federal agent look-alikes that were "stopped" in Idaho also had a bullhorn with FBI markings on it. Man, am I glad they were in "full riot gear", and not actually armed, that situation could have actually been dangerous.

@@Satar63 The sticker very well may say that. In fact, it would be fairly convincing, seeing as they are trying to claim that this was a far right, anti government group. Why would it not be included in any of the original reporting or press releases? Why were these people all dressed in blue shirts and khakis? Where are photos of the "riot gear"? Why did they have masks on after being detained? This whole incident raises more questions than the fbi operation to kidnap MI governor Gretchen Whitmer.

This was one of my favorite Table News’s so far
My dad was at CDA Pride in the Park. He left only thirty minutes before the men were found. I was at Pride over in Spokane and I was terrified when I heard what happened. The worst part was that lots of those men weren't from ID, they just thought they could get away with assaulting a Pride event there.
Thanks for mentioning the Stanley Cup finals! I had been hoping you would. I'm not from Colorado, but Tampa beat the Leafs (my team) first round, so... go Avs!

Idaho has a few pride events, actually. In fact, the area has a shocking amount of acceptance. It's just not really shown because those who don't are really against it. Also, yeah, that's very normal. I know people who have full arsenals in their cars, swords, knife collections, more than one variety of armor, whatever. The state is very open carry friendly and we love it, so we use it
Also, Idahoan Accent. Sounds like a combo of Southern and Western. Drop the T in everything, soft vowels. Creek is crick, mountain is moun'n or moun'in, and we all talk about fishing, hunting, winter, and the woods almost solely because it's all we ever do

That's a problem since this channel mostly covers the US, not the world.
As a queer person who lives in coeur d alene the uhaul was definitely at the pride event and a majority of the people in riot gear where not from here, our police department may be corrupt but in daytime they did serve an protect the pride event and was quick to respond and arrest those who where disturbing the peace
It's in the best interests of the entire CDA economy to shut down white supremacist's attempts to get another foothold anywhere in the nearby area. Butler was not good for tourism. It makes sense they did their jobs in this case.
