Canada 🇨🇦 it’s awful here. The fires are 2 hours north of me and there are days we have ash all over everything, people are losing their Homes and livelihoods. It’s terrible 😢
It is like that in Philadelphia, Pa where I live too.The air quality as of today for Philly is at 170. Can't wait for the rain to come to help clear this out. I really feel for people with respiratory issues. Be safe out there, esp for Finn with her little lungs! It is best to stay inside.
Go get an air purifier asap. I lived through one of the worst wildfires in California history 5 years ago. It was 3 miles from my house. Driving close in to rescue dogs it was like night during the day and very cold. Please either take a vacation or get your home as sealed as possible and have an air filter going
We have 4 air purifiers going actually in our house we always run a few anyways.

That fire 🔥 was AWFUL .I remember.
I'm on the west coast of Canada and we deal with forest fires on an annual basis.
Some years are worse than others but it's never fun to deal with smoky air.
I hope you still have the air purifiers that Sammie J got a couple of years ago.

Also, we had 200 firefighters from Africa arrive in Edmonton Alberta to help battle the fires! We don’t have enough manpower !😬🔥🥵

I sympathize Tucker. I’m in Queens, NYC. The air quality last night was 360! It’s down to 160 now but everything smells like there is a house fire 5 blocks (1/4 mile) out! Praying for rain now!
So sorry, the smoke from our wildfires in Nova Scotia have travelled down there. One of the fires was just 18km away that around 6 miles away from us. I have been working as a volunteer and have travelled to another wildfire in the southern part of our province and even gone through a blockage close to the fires via police escort. Its been crazy. Terry my husband, his sister was in the worst effected area. Her house is fine just nit utilities and she wont be able to get home anytime soon.

I’m in VA, near the coast. Yesterday was horrible. The sky was grey and the smoke was terrible. It must be a huge fire to travel this far. A lot of places that are outside closed bc of the smoke. People with breathing problems are having a terrible time. I hope they get rain to help put it out. ❤

I am in California and went through the same thing when half the state was on fire. There would be ashes on the cars and the ground. So weird! And it feels apocalyptic.
Here in Pennsylvania it was bad and still is and having asthma doesn’t help but I’m staying in. You guy’s be careful. Hopefully it clears up soon. Take care ❤

It’s been terrible here on Long Island NY too! I shut the windows tight, wore a mask to go out only to the pharmacy, especially since I have asthma.

I am so sorry that you are having to deal with all this smoke from the Canadian fires. I live in the middle of Washington State and every summer we go through this. It gets really dark and kind of orange looks. It is creepy looking. My daughter has asthma and works at. Needless to say, she has to keep all her sick leave for late as she always has a hard time due to all the smoke. I agree with you about the world going nuts. Try not to worry too much. I definitely wouldn't spend the day outside having a party, but I think your common sense is good enough. By the way, we always have a covering of ash on our cars every morning when it's like that. If you feel heaviness in your chest, stay inside with your ladies.

In Connecticut the last few days I could smell the smoke inside the house, At certain times during the day the air was orange and it just has not stopped being overcast. Another week it will stunt the growing season on the East coast. When I was little they used to talk about how terrible New Yorks Citys smog was I am 53 and watched NY cities news yesterday and pollution readings like we are getting have not happened in over 50yrs they said.
I'm also in CT. the air quality has been so bad ( Central CT), get a headache from being outside for 5 minutes. I feel bad for everyone affected by the fires.
Stay in as much as possible. Eastern PA, yesterday (Thursday) was the first clearer day. The two days before were GRAY. People said they felt like they'd pass out. My eyes were burning two nights before that, I didn't know why. God bless you all, and our Canadian neighbors.
Had it so bad in upstate NY. I was ready to hop in the car and drive til my kids could breath fresh air, it was so nasty
Turner we live 12 miles west of Portland Oregon and we get it every year from the Forest fires all along the Pacific NW. Sometimes the sky has a red haze. So sad you guys are effected by it. I am in Alberta Canada. We have been dealing with the fires for almost two months already.every day the smoke is a real thing.only about less than 100kms in every direction of us we have fires
Yes, it was absolutely scary here in New York.Difficult to breath.
It was hard to even drive that day I just kept the dogs in as much as possible and of course I had to run errands! Usually I smell the ocean smelled like neighbors had been running their fireplaces!!

Yeah, it's not good here in South Jersey, was in Egg Harbor last Thursday June 1st, and the Smoke & odor of same were extremely bad then...

As far South as I am, our 5 pm news stated we were getting a haze of the outer layers of the smoke, humidity does not help. Prayers for you all on the East Coast. Try to stay safe. Be ready my dears. Turner I live in Toronto and the smoke is here. What I saw on t.v. in New York looked worse than here in Toronto. The fires are from a province on the east coast called Nova Scotia. I have asthma so I have been hibernating, wear a mask when I take dog out. The smoke contains small particles that can plant into your lungs cause inflammation and these particles are not just from trees, but from homes, businesses, cars, who knows what has been incinerated. It will pass. Stay indoors, wear a mask if you must go out. We must think about climate change. Stay cool and calm and safe. We Canadians love you all. On the west coast they have been battling fires, it is so dry it's just surprising to see this happening from the east coast. Time to concentrate on mother earth and the environment. Keep the bean sprout inside. love to all.

Thought of you guys. Mine here in central CT was rated Unhealthy. Wore an N95 outside and for the first time in ages there were a lot of others. Saw actual clouds today for the first time in a while, but only on one side of the house. Saw nothing but haze from the other windows. Smelled smoke. Sore throat, burning eyes. All y'all in the really bad areas, stay safe.

We live in Seattle -it's been like this the last two summers into fall here from fires in Canada. Like you now, we had the worst air quality in the WORLD. Stay inside when you can.

None were lit on purpose . It’s global warming . It’s been the driest May on record & hottest . People set them accidentally because they are stupid , & they are careless. One started cuz some idiot had a campfire , another cigarette thrown out a window . The one on the island where I am is out of control, no rain , hot weather , dry forests !!! The main highway to the west coast was closed . People are stranded . It’s only one of two large fires just on Vancouver island . Then there’s the interior fire, the Alberta fire, the Ontario & Nova Scotia fires so from west to east coast !!! Major fires. We haven’t even hit summer & fire season ! It’s still spring 😮

A couple years ago downtown Seattle couldn't see the water .the sun was bright red. I have copd and it hurts your my lungs . So be safe and the whole family. Don't breath the aid
My province is the worst one in Canada for forest fires. We have a couple raging about 2.5 hrs from merightnow. Its awful. We deal with that quite often. Stay inside guys , definitely keep Finn inside. One rain storm with wind will sweep it away. They try and scare us as well. Like right now, im inside and i smell smoke. It happens every Summer here. The scenes from New York were pretty bad. But I live in southern California. I've swept up lots of ash from the yard and cars before it was so close to us. Tom MacDonald and John Rich have an "End of The World" song out.
I’m in North Jersey & it’s bad here. Didn’t think the shore area would be as bad. My husband keeps saying the zombies are coming. Lol. No, really, this is crazy. It’s like Covid all over again. Stuck in our houses & forced to wear masks when we go outside. Honestly, this sucks.

Im in NY about 6 hours north of you. Our skies were orange in the morning and it looked like a constant fog later in the day. It smelled like pine burning. looks good there compared to here

I’m in Ontario Canada and there’s Forrest fires north of me, the air quality is terrible here.
We had this in Alberta Canada a couple weeks ago . Air purifier in house helped . We were close enough to fires to be on eviction watch . Also if your acc pulls air from outside becareful on how much you use . Be safe💜

We had the similar thing happen a few weeks ago in Denver Colorado from the Canadian fires. I felt the smell way... the end was coming...

I'm in Massachusetts and its horrible here too. I've had an asthma attack the last 2 days and I dont usually have a problem at all. I haven't even been outdoors exposed to it
