Good video and information on how to replace a rubber seal. I would like to ask for your surgestions as to where l should be looking or testing, for excessive fueling from my injectors. I have a 2009 VW Golf Mk6 1.6 tdi cayc ,after using VCDS to try to perform an IDE 06141 Adapting injector minimum deviation quantities,which failed to compleat correctly. I now find that my first start with cold engine is not balanced ref idle is lumpy and eratic. Also my normal fuel mpg has droped from 56mpg down to 42 mpg,soit would appear my injector quantities must be high and over fuelling. I can confirm a strong smell of diesel from the exhaust when revesing into my home garage.but no white or black smoke from the exhaust. Any surgestion or help you could offer would be most appreciated.

Sir yes its possible for those vehicles which has ( i guess "R" at the end of BCM part no ) So you need to check you bcm for support , if it supports then its just the matter of 2 wires from bcm a couple of control switches and enabling the cruise control with vcds

Hello Mate I have an 1.2 Tdi diesel fabia Recently i went for a highway drive suddenly glow plug light arrived then by the way i park on the side performance dropped i open the engine bay coolent was coming out of the tank with Higher pressure and temperature (not from the to p from the sides) what could be the reason for that.And what service has to be done for a tune of stage 1 at 180k odo or else mention any mandatory changes at that odo
Sir of you are running a stage 1 , then some things are more than nessesary for the engine 1. Ensuring that its always in the correct operating temp. - flush the cooling system properly with a lime solvent to make sure that cooling system is free of deposits and then fill the system with appropriate coolant and do mind the coolant to water ratio as per ambient temperature 2. Make sure the radiator is properly washed from outside and able to dissipate heat to environment , clean the radiator with a light pressure of water in every 15 days or so 3. If you are already on stage 1 , then you can consider decat , as it will help to reduce the temperature in combustion chamber and your engine will feel a lot more responsive at the lower rev range due to the reduced resistance in the exhaust system . Sir its a 1.5 tdi EA189 , 4 cylinder unit , its a derivative of earlier 2.0Tdi engines As stock, it has 89PS peak power at 4200rpm and 230Nm of torque in 1700-2800 rpm range .
Sir its a code of turbo charger , underboost specifically , First step is to check for any loose intake pipe clamps and damaged or cracked rubber pipes , or intercooler
Bro an idiot mechanic had overtightened the fuel line earlier . I had some hesitation in the engine, I thought to bleed the fuel lines once. But the nut just wouldn't turn. I accidentally bent it a little I guess. Now there is fuel leaking from that injector inlet area ( the metal one) . Any idea how to fix it :'( let me know if I can contact you.
Sir , if the metal line of injector got leak , then the best is to replace it , as it doesn't have any sort of rubber gasket to seal , it seals with metal to metal contact , and if that area of contact has damaged then there is no way it will stop , as its running on quite a high pressure, close to 3000 psi You can contact me on my Mail everydaydiyhelp@gmail.com
you did all this just to clean? i dont understand...valve cover is cracked they all do with time. Fix the hole or buy new cover. I was hoping to see you soldering the cracked plastic when you took off injector's. to find leaky crack just block the valve cover ventilation with thumb on runing engine, pressure will show you where.
It is the valve cover itself that is leaking, never the those seals around the injectors. The valve is made out of two pieces tacked tigether and starts leaking after a while. Just replace the valve cover.
best way to not brake the injector clamp bolt is to trow vw recomendet instructions to the bin ! Use simple logic. use torq spec with torq spec not degree spec. like 270° wtf. ho do like this? its not a engine head bolts. Most manufacturers offers around 25Nm. some up to 35Nm.
Sir these are TTY hardware ( torque to yield ) they actually stretch when they are torqued in the right manner and they are designed for that , to exert the right amount of clamping force 2nd reason - they can only be used once ideally , so manufacturers now will charge you for the hardware as well , business tactics 3rd reason - if a person breaks the hardware due to lack of knowledge , it's going to be a jackpot for the service centre.

No sir , i did it to show how to remove the injectors , as i had to change the seals , which is done by just pulling them up .

Sir yes , good fuel quality + fuel filter change on every annual service + fuel system cleaner after every 5-7k kms
