2:51 “Having a large fleet of 737-700s and 737-700s”
Thought I was imagining it
@@december1to31 I thought I was, too, lol.
@@december1to31 same
Cause I thought it was me alone
Having me over here playing it over and over
How could you forget their acquisition of Go Fly Ltd in the early 2000's. Go was an award winning low cost carrier from British Airways winning almost all travel awards over easyJet. It was the acquisition of Go that truly accelerated their growth and popularity as passenger choice was reduced with the only real alternatives being Ryanair or BMIBaby.
I used to love flying go! I was gutted when easyjet bought them out.
@@Ally1756 I flew as crew with them for 3yrs. Loved every minute and haven’t worked for a better company since.
And GB Airways of course. I was crew for GB at the time!
You must be living in dream world. Go only had 28 aircraft at their peak. BA were in trouble, losing market share. BA literally copied easyJet's model by creating Go to compete with easyJet! They Failed! easyJet (and others) were still beating them on cost. It's one thing calling yourselves a "low cost carrier", but it's another thing doing it low cost. BA still can't do it today. They certainly don't owe Go (or BA) any credit in low cost airlines. (They weren't!)
@@1981MJD haha 😂 Stelios…is that you?!? We all know that wasn’t true. Stop crying baby…we did it better and you know it. You can’t tell me Sleazy was a unique offering when Greek boy ‘stole’ the model from southwest. Now go set up your kiosk and make that commission
2:51 should be 737-300 and 737-700
4:21 I think you mean AOC not OAC (as its an Air Operators Certificate)
Finally its 2022, not 2021 as the title suggests.
He pronounced Austria very oddly
He pronounces lots of things oddly. Wait until you hear him say “Bergamo” 🙄
I pronounce Austria oostria
Oustria
I think it’s orstria idk it seems a bit different
Now they need an “easy train”
Thank you for including Gibraltar in the first two clips 😊
Fun facts not mentioned:
Codes & Callsigns by ATC:
Easyjet UK: (EZY) Easy
Easyjet EU: (EJU) Alpine
Easyjet CH : (EZS) TopSwiss
At Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Easyjet has dedicated gates (H- or M-gates or Hotel/Golf Gates) located at the same pier. Depending on the destination of the flight (Schengen or not) the low-cost H or M gate will be assigned. These gates are stairs boarding only and (except from 1 coffee place) no restaurants or other facilities to reduce costs for the airline.
Ryanair may also be boarding from these gates for the same purposes as mentioned above.
A few extra details, there you go!
cool info!
I like the Airbos and I'm glad they went all in.
Thanks for grear info
i hope they expand in Belgium, they only have 2-3 destinations in Brussels
great comparisons
You should really do one about SAS with their sas group, sas Ireland and Scandinavian airlines operators. I’m sure I’ve missed some so please feel free to correct me in the comments to this comment
I have always thought easyjet was professional and reasonably priced
Nice!
Sup
Cool thanks
I often fly from LHR/MGW to CPH. I much prefer EasyJet to BA or SAS. Far better travel experience. You don't get the BA cabin crew treating you as a lower life form because you are not in business class.
At 2:51 you said 737-700 twice
You are the best
The A319s that went to United are mainly being used as spares.
EasyJet has a star on me 😊
I love easyjet man, given I'll never fly Ryanair again after they took 18 months to give me £53 back
Can you do a fleet analysis on Garuda Indonesia for some time?
Hey! Can you make a video about the Tibet Airlines A319
Agree
2:45 I’m not going mad am I, he did just say the same thing twice?
Love easyJet 🍊
Yes he did I saw that
They had 757s too
I want to know what this background music is
Coooooooooooooooooooooooool!
BA and easyjet have every different models though, the BA LHR-MAN flight is mainly so people from Manchester can connect via London since BA operates a hub and spoke model, easyJet though don't even offer connections as they're a point to point budget airline, so that logic doesn't apply to them, hence why they don't operate it. Few people will fly from London to Manchester as it takes longer than the train all in, but if you're going from say, Manchester to Tokyo, it makes sense to just fly and connect in London.
I was on easy jet once
As a g erman cooperating with deutsche Bahn on transportation feels like cooperating with Baldrick on cooling
2:46 737-700’s and 737-700’s you said it twice😊
Flown Easy many times and never had a problem with them i have always found cabin crew to be highly professional. On short haul (anything less than 2-2.5 hours) why bother with the legacy carriers, Easyjet in general have a much more modern fleet in comparison with BA and although food has to be paid for that's optional .
Crew are rude scruffy and most certainly not professional
@@THREE3.3.3 you must have chosen an off day
Usually Easyjet staff are very good in some cases better than BA
Tbh, flying BA short haul feels literally the same as flying easyJet, just with less orange. Budget airlines tend to have new planes because those are the most efficient, and that offsets the higher cost
You know Easy switching from B737 to A320/19's is kinda similar to Airasia's switching from B737-300 to all A320's with now 323/321Neos.
Indigo airline please cover
Good company
can you make a video about airasia
Thanks for the feedback, we will consider this for future videos. ✈️ - LR

Can you please do one of WizzAir
That would be more interesting than some of the other suggestions being made.
Thanks for the feedback, we will consider this for future videos. ✈️ - LR
@@LongHaulbySimpleFlying Wizz Air is also 3 airlines in one as well.
They also had 2 Boeing 757s in 2010 but decided not to have them.
No, they didn’t. They were wet leased. They’ve wet leased various aircraft types over the last decade.
Can you do a fleet on air china or china southern ( with their a380)
Wish I could fly easyJet A320✈️👨✈️
I thought EasyJet hub was in LGW
Large base in LGW. Headquarters in LTN.

Do one for Indigo
6:55 This is where the video actually starts.
Disagreed, you can find these numbers online easily. The rest was more interesting actually

737 700s and 737 700s 😂
I liked EasyJet for a decade but the last trip put me off, if you have luggage and did not opt for Speedy Boarding they will serve your entire queue only if there are 0 passengers for Speedy Boarding no matter how early your flight or late their flight is then they have delays and will not communicate not even with updating departure boards. I'll never fly EasyJet again, I'd rather go by train.
you need to be sat in the first 5 rows or over wing exits to bring a trollycase in the cabin everyone else is a small under seat bag
The customer is always right. Sleazyjet staff take ineptitude to a new low.
Wish I could fly easyJet A320✈️👨✈️
