Both Corey and Jim have stated that they hate the masks, and it's almost like torture to perform in them at times, but they're integral to the mindset when they go on stage. It's almost like surrendering themselves to a different persona.

I love slipknot!!! If I were ever in a band it would be in a band like slipknot. Sometimes I just want to put on a mask and be someone totally different and just let out some frustration all while hyping people and hopefully helping them get through stuff as they have helped me.
