  • The 3rd part of this dollhouse stop motion animation! This time we make cut out motion puppets with paper and cloth. The texture of paper and cloth gives a nice contrast from the clay furniture created in the previous video. I am not as confident with cut out motion so I hope I did a good job!
    I really hope you enjoy it!
    Love,
    Elaine.

    Your videos are always so cozy, it feels like I'm just hanging out with a friend while I work on my own stuff. I'm really looking forward to seeing your next project, that little preview has me super intrigued. The cutouts seem really cool, it's making me want to try it sometime!

    I have a question… when you create the other hits of paper to make the character move, you don’t glue anything so that you can move around, correct? How do you make it stay in place without moving so you can film it?

    • @ElaineArtemieff
      @ElaineArtemieff  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I don't glue it down :) Make sure the paper it is on or the glass is stable. Either use heavy things to weigh it down or tape it down. Some people use a multiplane (different levels of glass) so that different parts can be manipulated separately without touching the rest :) You can also use the tiniest bit of blue tack :)

      Thank you for your comment!! :) Yes I can and have for other projects. This background I did make it then green screened the character's on.

    How you do make the eyes

    • @ElaineArtemieff
      @ElaineArtemieff  6 месяцев назад

      The eyes are bits of paper, a small separate piece for the eyeballs and eyelids; that I then animate. :))
