@@jacksonfev man you're just being hella cynical at this comment. Being nice and friendly aren't the only strengths in life. Every culture has an equal number of strengths and weaknesses. I think being gracious and humble in certain situations or looking on the bright side of things more often might be a norm in some cultures while being more guarded and competitive is a norm in other cultures. One is great because it is very warm and fuzzy, but can turn reckless or dangerous in some situations. The other is great because it keeps up healthy boundaries, protecting you and yours, but it can make you depressed or hard to get close to in some situations. I am a gringa who married into a Honduran family and the cultures are different but balance each other well. My husband is always reminding me that our life is beautiful, that even our enemies are still people, and that life is to be enjoyed. He has an amazing light that shines from his soul and I view my life with more gratitude than I did before we met. I am always reminding him to not trust people immediately and that life can be enjoyed in moderation so we protect our health and our finances. I have kept us safe and helped him navigate the US's often dystopian economy and legal system. We can acknowledge cultural differences and praise cultural characteristics without implying that other cultures are overall inferior.

I agree 100%, they are great at their respective competition/sport. I just said they aren't good at traditional sports as we know, outside of Luis being pretty decent with eye-foot coordination.
The art of throwing a ball efficiently shows great kinetic timing, as well as kicking one. Catching a ball shows that you have hand-eye coordination.
They are good at what they do specifically, but a huge part of athleticism has to do with being able to put together a good kinetic chain outside of a power clean. It has a lot to do with being able to do tasks outside of that.
Not bashing anyone, I think they are all tremendously great athletes, but they are not athletic in the sense that they are coordinated.

What they really should do is pit world champions or State, national or even regional champions against each other. There will always be differences due to a sport's popularity and so many other variables but then at least you have more reference perhaps. Ah there is no perfect way to do this but if they can get some cool challenges and people this can be a very enjoyable series. Maybe we'll find some of the most rounded athletes this way. If they could next use a swimmer I'm very interested in seeing how a good swimmer atacks against other Olympic or just athletes.
