I have an Android S22+ and Jabra Enhance Pro 20. It occasionally disconnects. By reading the owners manual and experimenting, I found a much easier solution if your phone is Bluetooth paired. Log into your phone (not the ap) and pull down your settings screen from the top. Go to your Bluetooth connected devices list. Hit the line for your hearing aids and hit disconnect. Wait at least 5 or more seconds and hit connect hearing aids. Once it says connected, you're good to go. It is much faster and simpler than the solutions in this video.

With my S22 and Costco non-recharging I have to go to settings and disconnect thechearing aids, turn them off and back on, and then reconnect. They do reconnect but still randomly discinnect
So, this works but doesn't correct the basic problem.

Maybe I missed it but I'll add to this - I found if you close all applications then open the Jabra app they will connect. A little quicker than powering your phone off and on. Just tap the 3 vertical lines on the lower left side of your phone and then tap "close all". Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

1st... thank you for using an Andriod instead of an iPhone. Thank you!!!!!
2nd... It seems like all the "issues" with hearing aids and phones are blamed mostly on the phones! In my case... EVERYTHING works perfectly (Samsung earbuds, Bose earbuds, etc) except the Oticon REAL hearing aids! So shouldn't these connectivity issues be on the hearing aid companies and not the user having to reboot their hearing aids and phones?

No problem! We have video for both iPhone and android phones. Hearing aids works best for iPhones because they were initially made for iPhones. The hearing industry is slowly getting hearing aids compatible to android devices but only certain android phones works best. It’s both the phone and hearing industry. Have a great day!

Very helpful. I've been having problems with my aids going back and forth between hearing thru my phone or changing which ear is hearing thru the phone. I've tried the easier methods, but will try repairing. Problems started with the Easyline update a month ago.

Excellent video! I have an older Galaxy A12 and Phonak hearing aids. I have to add a step for mine to pair; after unpairing both in the app and blue tooth on the phone, I have to do a factory reset before pairing again. Something to do with "classic bluetooth?" I understand.

Mine are ReSound, and the procedure to restart appeares to be Similar or Identical with Jabra. This includes all restart pages & x2 repairing. Are they in fact the same? I hope so. I'll show this tutorial to my hearing
aid Technician (she may not have seen it, but I doubt it).
I'm using a Samsung S22 Ultra phone also.

I was at Costco today to try and fix a bluetooth problem with my Jabra Enhance pro 10. I was getting disconnected in one ear or the other. It turns out that there was a firmware update which I was kind of hoping was going to be the issue. Then all that was left to allow some permissions on my phone which is a Google Pixel 7 . All seems to be working fine now. If you have any problems you should check and see if there are any firmware updates. These usually help.

I appreciate your efforts with these videos, but I have to say that you did not really address the issue of fixing the hearing aids disconnecting from the phone in this video. You described in detail how the get them reconnected; and that is not the same thing at all.
I'm a new user of hearing aids with a set of OTC aids (Lexie - Bose) that I am basically happy with. The biggest problem I have with them is exactly that one or the other will disconnect after a few minutes. At first it was always the left aid that would disconnect, but now it is starting to happen to either one. I can usually get them reconnected just fine but it is really irritating that they disconnect in the first place. It would be good if there were a solution to this.

Sorry you didn't find this helpful. I get so many patients in the office that can't get their aids connected and i go throughj these steps with them to get the aids connected again. I thought I would make a video with said steps. I unfortunately don't have ALL the answers. But I do share what I have. Good luck!

i'll have to look at what that is, never heard of it. You can check the streaming compatibility chart by searching "Jabra Enhance Pro 10 Compatibility Chart" on google. If its not in the list, i doubt it will stream. I just checked, its not on the list, it will NOT stream, the oneplus 7 IS on the list. here's the url

I recently got mom a new phone. Moto one with android 12, swapped over from a samsung. It had not problems with the samsung. If I get the devices to pair with the easy line remote app we can tweak the settings for the hearing aid but the phone doesn't recognize it for making calls or playing anything thru the blu tooth. I've reset, reboot. Sometimes it will find both sometimes it will only find one. If I pair them w/o the app (only get one) it will work correctly for answering and making calls. Any suggestions?

I would suggest an iPhone or a Samsung galaxy s series. The pixels, Motorolas, Nokias, basically any phone other than an iPhone or s22,23 or 24 will most likely have problems.

No sir. If you look at the app and click on "direct streaming" under the more section I believe, it explains this right In the app. Read it and see what it says. It explains why this happens.

It’s been a few years since I’ve fit tru hearing aids, if they are still using WS audiology as their manufacturer, you would just download the tru hearing app and follow the pairing instructions.

My phonak hearing aids are connected properly to android samsung, but always hang up on the person after 5 minutes or more so I have to disconnect the streaming which is what I have them for.. My audioogist thought she fixed it but it continues. I cannot find any real solution.

Take them back to the fitter and have them contact phonak support. If they can’t find a fix and they are under warranty, they should be able to have them replaced.

There is no fix for that or I would have included it. It sounds like either a phone or software issue or maybe a hearing aid issue.
