Completely agree, have the 77’ G4 for several weeks and Gaming and movies are a blast. Didn’t much care for the filmmaker mode tbh. Image is just amazing and my new hobby is just watch youtube 8k demo video’s.

Will be getting the G4 65 inch myself, I have the C7 aswel from 2017 and it has burn it it only happened the last year or so , the screen looks streaky but only in bright scenes , it wouldn't put me off an OLED they have improved a lot since then

@@jordanstinson2505 Hi, I don't know yet. I'm awaiting my son's availability to help me swap out my G3. What I will say is this. Going from my 77" G2 to same size G3 was incredible. Dare I say even smoother motion and a lot brighter. I'll guarantee you'll notice the difference because the G4 is brighter again. I'm hoping the new Alpha 11 processor will give me finer detail on lower quality programmes, because I do watch a lot of them. Hope this helps 🤗
GT7 looks absolutely breathtaking on the 77' LG G4! I'm talkin absolutely breathtaking, especially the scapes movies, and the lights from the cars, will actually make you feel like there is an actual car in front of you. So sick!

I game on a 65” QLED… I’d love an OLED but I’m terrified of burn-in especially from watching news/sports stations. Yes I’m aware the risk of burn-in has decreased over the years but it still worries me when it comes to static images
I got the 77” G2 after your review of it and it’s been phenomenal and the best tv I’ve owned to date but I’ve outgrown the 77” size rather quickly and now will get either the 83” G4 or the 85” QN900B and possibly consider the upcoming 85” Sony Bravia 9 but since gaming is my main focus then movies/shows I’ll have to see.
@@ricksb5 exactly 8 feet. I sat in the store in front of the 85” they had on display @8ft and it was very immersive and now can’t stop wanting the larger size. It is true what they say, always get the bigger tv if debating on size.
Fantastic Review! You cover everything without rambling (like I do, lol). I bought the tv on the assumption the first major price cut will happen at memorial day or July 4th. But generally speaking over $4k for any tv is ridiculous. I do have a hefty credit that made buying this more "acceptable."

Hey Spawnpoint, just an idea, in benefit for us with older tvs, you mentioned you have a C9, there is some of us with older TVs like c9s or CXs that would love a comparison with something like a G4, to see how far the technology has come and sell us on how big the jump is, would you think it would be a good idea to do that comparison with your C9?
fantastic tv. I have 77 G3 and i love it. G4 is a bit brighter but i curious about for panel temperature when you set max brightness. I dont use my G3 long time on max brightness but when i watched any hdr videos this panel getting hotter. G4 is super bright but panel temperature important for long time usage. And can this brightness booster increase burn in risk?
I have an LG C1 83" for downstairs, and it's amazing still after 2 years. I recently bought a Neo-QLED 75" Samsung for upstairs. The Neo- QLED brightness or contrast is far superior to the LG OLED. It's not close. The blacks are okay on the NQLED, but the LG OLED is the GOAT. *If in a bright room, get Neo-QLED (LCD and I prefer samsung) if in a dark room (basement) get OLED (I prefer LG). My opinion. Good luck!

Only got a C2 last year and it is beautiful. Had (still have it as a secondary TV) a Sony for about 10 years. The G4 looks gorgeous! I'm playing fewer games these days but when I do play (GT 7, FF games, Diablo 4, Elden Ring) they look great. 4K movies are probably what I watch most. Not sure I'll be able to afford a G4 soon but, one day!
I returned my G2 for vertical banding out the box and bought the A95K but tbh I’m probably going to buy another LG oled just for gaming bc I miss the in depth game mode and low input lag

Brother, you have reviewed all the Samsung G Series TV's and I love them all. I've had the G3 in my Amazon cart for years. It's at $2,296 at the moment. Good price imo. I don't know if the G4 is that much different between the G3, but they're all great

The LG GX looks very much the same as the LG SG10TY? I bought my G4 65” on a promotion where I could bundle the SG10TY and the discount received at the end resulted in basically getting the sound bar for free and I was actually paying $200 less of the original price of the G4 by itself. However, I tried my best to look for reviews on the SG10TY before buying the bundle deal but couldn’t find any videos on it. Considering it was basically free and it reduced my TV by $200… I just bought it. Hopefully I made the right decision.
Nice OLED! I was curious about the WiFi speed. I believe they are using WiFi 6 with this model. Is the Ethernet port at least 1GIG or faster? I plan on streaming everything to it - option would be to use an external box that does have the required speed. My router is downstairs and this TV would be upstairs. I seen the C3 77 and 83 side by side and the 83 really didn’t seem that much larger to justify the extra cost.
Only problem I have with my lg b9 is slight flickering in dark games probably worsened by vrr(gsync)? Mainly I noticed it in alanwake 2. Also panel uninformity in dark scenes has vertical banding but not that bad. Wonder if g4 has improved it. Nobody in youtube really tests these challengin scenarios.

I'm currently considering the Samsung S90C in this size - I won't be wall-mounting but the thought of the set-up still fills me with dread (I remember setting up my 65" C1 with the missus was far from easy!). I've had an LG C2 since launch and while these TV's look great, I don't see any reason to upgrade. I wonder how many years are we away from LG or even Samsung/Sony from providing a "next gen" upgrade to their TV's.
The question I want answered is how if the upscaling from SD content compared to Sony. Many of us watch cable TV which limits the image to 720. I wonder how well the new processor handles the upscaling.

Hi Spawn, figured this was the easiest way to contact you so I hope you see this. Was wondering if there's any chance you could do a walkthrough video for installing a 77-inch TV? I'm currently considering the Samsung S90C in this size - I won't be wall-mounting but the thought of the set-up still fills me with dread (I remember setting up my 65" C1 with the missus was far from easy!). I'd certainly appreciate some tips and I'm sure others would also find the video useful. Just a suggestion - I know you're a busy man. Have a great day mate 🙂

I've had an LG C2 since launch and while these TV's look great, I don't see any reason to upgrade. I wonder how many years are we away from LG or even Samsung/Sony from providing a "next gen" upgrade to their TV's.
The question I want answered is how if the upscaling from SD content compared to Sony. Many of us watch cable TV which limits the image to 720. I wonder how well the new processor handles the upscaling.
