@@squidcheeks9892 There is an exploit to make him appear. I don’t remember exactly now how to do it without looking up the guide for it.
did you use cheats you can’t get all 151 in that game without trade

Im so late on finding you or this video, it deserves more recognition this is crazy, i have so much to say but ill wait until im finished experimenting, i have already turned a non shiny from crystal into a shiny so that works, now im going to see if it changes genders in gen 2 its impossible to get female shiny starters so im going to try to get a female charmander and see what happens when i make it shiny, any other info and experimenting you guys got would be great! The reason i think this works is i think the first 8f changes one half of the stats and after after tossing the x accuracy and using it agian it changes the second half. From what i gathered its the first pokemon in your active box not just the first box, i found your video after accidentally turning my nidoran into a shiny instead of mew. Sorry this got way long one last thing you dont have to wait for the trade to see the shiny on your crystal game while in the trade screen scroll down to the other games pokemon and check their stats you can see the shiny stars in the corner there just like when you check a pokemons stats in your owm party on crystal and can see the shiny stars
I’ve heard you can make an entire box worth of pokemon shiny as well, but haven’t seen what you need for it. You should do that next! Fingers crossed lol

hey kevin, just wanted to say i came across all these vids while looking for ways to mess with glitches in gen 1 and i kinda wanna do the same thing you did. I'm curious how your playthrough of getting all mons without trading went and if you have footage of that i would love to see it in a video. if not that's okay too, even like some sort of pastebin with what all you did would suffice. love these videos as they have helped me with exploring gen 1 glitches and enjoying the broken games once again.

What does it mean if 8F stays in your bag when you deposit it into the PC? Giving you an 8F in both the bag and PC
I’m guessing you (accidentally) had it in the sixth slot when you saw a Missingno and you duplicated it.

So I plan to do this for the whole living dex in red using the mew glitch to get exclusives, will I just need to replace the X accuracy’s each time ?
Yeah basically. Just make sure to have 50 X Accuracy's (toss 127 if you're starting with 177) and then encounter MissingNo to get 178. There might be a way to turn all of the Pokemon in your PC box shiny to save time but I'm not sure
@@kevykangoegaming That would be quite nice if it was a thing given you can’t move Pokémon around in the box so I’d have to do a lot of saving just to change boxes each time for 1 mon. Hope to see more videos only reason I want the shiny living dex from kanto and johto is the origin marks

I have but not with these new shiny Pokemon. There shouldn't be any issue (except maybe with Mew) but would be interesting to try out 🤔

Yep, but only if you’ve already downloaded Pokémon Bank and Poke Transporter. I think I have a video discussing this
