I don't know about that. It took over 30 years from the original version of Spartacus to inspire Mel Gibson to make this movie. Someone might be inspired from Braveheart to write an epic story about another legendary person in the future. It could take 100 yrs or It could be 20 years from now. Hell someone could be writing a script right now.
For example, the brave story of Tupac Amaru II, he was killed by the spanish Empire and his body was also torn to pieces because he tried to free his people. This was in 1780 in Peru
The world does not understand what an amazing writer and composer when lost when James Horner died. His music unfortunately will never be recognized like it should be because of the times we live in. Now you don’t even have to have an instrument and people act like they are geniuses at music and it’s so sad. He deserves better and his music should be required listening lol. Thank you James for making such beautiful music for some of us to enjoy. Look I am a heavy metal fan, but his music cannot be ignored!
I honestly don’t even care how inaccurate Braveheart was as a movie, I loved it back in 1996, it’s now 2021 and I continue to enjoy watching it and listening to the beautiful music composed by James Horner. I voted YES in 2014 for an Independent Scotland, I’m dam proud to be within that 45% 💙 With my hand on the heart I truly hope that Scotland in the coming years will gain Independence 🏴 🏴 🏴
James Horner was the man whose soundtracks I would actually purchase on CD's. They were stunning masterpieces. God bless you. I wish you were still with us.
@@kennybarnes8019 and don't forget the Legends of the Fall, in particular the Ludlows theme, probably his best piece after this and a Gift of a Thistle
I think after all the fanfares all night they needed a break for the orchestra, this is still a beautiful piece. Bravo performance and Mr. Horner of course.
It is Geza Frank. That was the first time he ever played with an orchestra. He's a traditional player and couldn't read music at the time of this performance. He got selected by James after this to be Eric Riglers official substitute.

***** There are many, many wonderful parts in the score, but this cue drives at the heart of love and passion so I find no fault in it. It's lovely, evocative, and performing brilliantly.
If the eternal memory of a man/woman depends on his job during the time lived in this world, James Horner, will not be forgotten ever.
You expressed it so beautifully
There will never be another braveheart film with all these legendary music and performances

yeah, he sounded a little fast
there would have been way better parts of the score to play live....because this seemed kind boring.
